  • Join me with this clip from the ‪@AndrewKlavan‬ show as we delve into the intense ideological battle shaping the future of British politics. With Rishi Sunak stepping down and a leadership contest on the horizon, the Conservative Party faces a crucial decision. Will they reunite with Nigel Farage's supporters or witness Farage's Trump-like takeover? We'll explore how mass immigration and liberal globalisation have impacted working-class voters and what this means for the British right. Plus, we'll discuss the broader implications for the Western political landscape. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and join the conversation at www.mattgoodwi....

    As people who genuinely love our country, we must put aside our differences and get behind Nigel and Reform UK, It is a pity Nigel or any of the Reform people are not addressing the rally in London today, but I do understand, that the time is not now. Nevertheless, the threat we face is the same for all of us, support or voting for Tories only dilutes our vote share. We will ultimately be victorious because we have common sense on our side

    No, not everybody in Britain feels that way about Trump, because as much as they would like it to be, London is not representative of the United Kingdom. Get out of the liberal cities and you'll find contrary to Matt's moronic take, people actually like Trump, or more specifically they like his policies and the fact that he actually does what he says he'll do.

    A lot of Brits voted for Boris and Brexit. Before he was betrayed by Gove and then by Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak. When he resigned, Boris said 'Anyone but Sunak.' And people followed Boris's advice. That is the real reason that the Conservatives lost so overwhelmingly this time.

    Yes, immigration is an issue, but only because of the neglect of other sources. What about the Conservative Government's abolition of the Married Man's allowance. How has that and feminism impacted the reproductive rate of the female indigenous population in the UK? As Thomas Sowell would say, where is the evidence. If all you do is import, eventually you become a minority numerically, socially , culturally and most importantly politically impotent, because you have allowed yourself to be usurped.

In all parts of the country, rural, urban, suburban, coastal etc, and now the number is probably more. Im in rural west Wales and Farage definitely does not represent me. The local authority I live in voted Remain 54.6% to 45.4% Leave. Reform came in 4th at the general election here with 11.6% of the vote.

    Matt the elephant in the room is this. The UK needs immigration that is economically productive and culturally cohesive, Because it is an aging population that needs looking after and it is at full employment (of those that wish too work). Your Brexit resulted in the substitution of this (immigration from within the EU) for immigration (from outside the EU) that is so demonstrably less economically productive (on an aggregate per capita basis) and less culturally cohesive. It’s so clear in the post 2016 movement in the composition of immigration. Secondly your Brexit resulted in the UK having an illegal immigration problem because it can no longer post Brexit send back illegals to the first point of origin in the EU (as the UK is no longer an EU member). Yet neither Nigel or you engage with this fundamental point.

      No, this is a lie, it is the narrative of the Global Elites. If we need immigrants, which we won't as AI will take most of the jobs, then why from Pakistan, India, and other places where we have nothing in common. Why not the poorer parts of Europe, the Philippines, etc..People who hold similar values, not aliens

    • @pameladale4874
      @pameladale4874 Před měsícem +1

      Actually the reason Brexit has not been successful is because the Westminster politicians were all remainers and weren’t prepared to do what the electorate told them to do, so only did a partial Brexit, as for illegal immigration, the borders should have been closed and properly patrolled and the law of the sea imposed by turning the boats around back to France which is completely legal but the elites in parliament didn’t want to know, then they gave into France about fishing quotas when they should have backed our fisherman and not given into the French bullies. Labour is going to destroy this country if the people do not protest and block their stupid, idiotic plans. Only 30% voted for Labour, those that stayed at home and did not vote should feel shame for letting the anti British Labour Party into power. Reform is the only party that speak for the British people.
