Disneyland RCT2: Part 1

- Disneyland RCT2 is a giant recreation of Disneyland park in Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. It took several years, but as you will see, the results are worth it.

Part 1 will take you to Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Toontown.
This is one of the biggest projects I have ever undertaken. At times it was fun and at other times it wasn't. Probably the hardest part was being so far away from Disneyland will working on this recreation. I started this in 2004 and finished it probably in 2009. With at least 2.5 years overall where I was just having too much fun with other things in my life.
I had some great friends online who were willing to take some specific shots for me so that I could reference the images as I built shops and other things. I wouldn't have been able to do this without them I also owe a lot to Amazing Earl for being at the front of custom ride and custom scenery creation and for spending so much time making Disneyland objects. It really makes the park that more magical.
I would have done this video along time but just barely learned how to. I hope you enjoy it. I am more than happy to do a commentary version if anyone is interested. If you are, leave me a note.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Everything looks so perfectly placed! I even see the overhang near Space Mountain and the Monorail where my family stopped to wait out a brief rain spell. LOL!!

Kids dont appreciate just how hard this was to do, and how much more limited the internet was. This probably took the creator 60 hrs/week for an entire summer vacation.

Always wanted to do this on RCT but would just get frustrated with the lack of tools to be able to replicate buildings and a lot of rides, I'd give up pretty quickly. Once Planet Coaster is out I am determined to replicate an Orlando Theme Park, I may even lose my job and girlfriend but dammit I'm going to do it!!

Hey man just saw your vid. Have you tried openRCT2? Pop that on and it can ad another layer of realism that rocks. It will allow disabled clearance check that can allow for switch track and adding additional scenery on different tiles with track already on them.
I wish I could fully remember. From what I can see and remember the following are custom:
Pirate figurines
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Space Mountain cars
Peter Pan cars
Alice in Wonderland cars
Alice in Wonderland theming
Haunted Mansion theming
There's probably others as well.

Yup! Good eye! There is actually a lot of customer scenery objects used throughout the park (although I couldn't use all of them because of the 255 custom scenery object limit in the level editor).

Sorry, I don't even own RCT3. I tried playing it once and it just didn't click as much as RCT1 and 2. Although I always wanted to when I saw some of the cool recreations people are making.

Amazing. You should do a recreation of the Magic Kingdom in Disney World.
It is all included in the download file. Custom rides contains all the files that you will need. But you will have to read the included instructions to know where to put them on your compute (and do some searches online if you run into problems).
This is unreal. Awesome job. Just curious why didn't you make it peep friendly?
My only complaint with this is that you have a sad empty track running through Tomorrowland (like the real Disneyland, unforunately). Disney has an excuse (stupid OSHA) you don't. Other than that, this has taken me to a place deep in my heart that I had long forgotten and awoken my inner child, which I am very thankful for.
It would be cool if you had the rocket rods running and break down

You need to do new colors on the Matterhorn Bobsleds trains. They got new ones last year.
Ah, good eye. But this version of Disneyland is somewhere around 2006. Finding Nemo hadn't been built yet so I didn't really even put that in.

Yeah the download includes the necessary custom scenery.
There probably is, I can't remember what trainer I used. But it probably has an option to remove that.
The parts for Space Mountain are basic parts from the game I think, nothing really special. And what do you mean about the line? That's exactly where it starts in real life.
I think I did use a trainer, but it was so long ago I can't remember. The file is available on Rendered Mouse, the link is in the description.
one more thing...how and where did you get all that extra scenery and rides?
Various places around the internet. Mainly from The Amazing Earl.
I got this to work for Rollar coaster tycoon classic!!
Hope Jester All you need to do is import the files to the game but this works for android and I don't know it works on pc and mac but try it for yourself.
Are you having a problem with the download? I just tested it and it works. Was the site not loading or something?
Is it too much to ask what is custom scenery/ rides, its been a while since I've played this game and I can't really decipher what's vanilla and whats not.
Also if I download the map would the custom scenery still be there if I don't have it installed?

RCT3 is from another maker and its another game i feel like whit the 3D feel and stuff its cool but i cant play it for like 3 ours and RCT1 and 2 i can and then its like huh i have played for 3 ours and you think you played like 30mins
