It's a shame we can't get that kind of radios so easily to learn about them. Some day I'll put my hands on one of this things an I will program it, I hope. If I recall correctly, on the HT1250 Motorola said that the yellow housing was not made of poly carbonate but actually ABS plastic. Is this the same on the APX 7000XE?

Check Ebay or your local classifieds for the radio you want. They are available to the general public

Every time I go into a burning building I've used a throat mic so that I can be able to speak with their masks on
