Kenny Beechum said D Live is the mav's 3rd best player, and I think he's actually right. His effect on both sides of the floor makes this team incredibly hard to beat
Its like...3rd best player is interchangeable but he is always atleast 4th so its kinda accurate
Unbelievable how well he is playing as a rookie who all knew had potential although didn't really show it at Duke. IMO if he can work on his midrange shot like Ingram from Pelicans get stronger and keep making his freethrows. Along with Gafford being stronger and working on his free throws. Both continue to push and support the other we basically have 2 starting centers that can give us a dominate inside presence for next 5 years until Irving hangs em up or moves on and Luka signs his big extension. With our top 7 Irving, Luka, PJ, DJ, Liv, Gafford & OMax (if he develops like we expect) we only need Green, Lawson, Exum and Hardy to make that big step forward. That gives us 11 really strong players. IMO Trade THJ, Powell, Morris add a backup experienced point guard, a tall young 3D wing who can shoot the 3. And last add one more experienced 5, yes that might be Powell as he can sign a good team friendly contract, stay in Dallas and seems to be good in the locker room. As our 3rd center and 15th player or go sign a young development 4/5. If this doesn't make it to the championship then I think 1 big move is needed. LM from Jazz might be too expensive but if we could get him for Green, Hardy & THJ then it would be hard to turn down as he is young, 7footer, runs floor very well and shoots 3, he could play either the 3, 4 or 5 spot making him very versatile. But for now Let it Ride and let's go win 6 yes we only need 6 more wins to the Championship. Go Mavs.

Reid is a beast of #6 man. Game winner by #77 so big for Mavs. Liv/Gaf so frigging good at 5 spot. Jones/PJ and kudos to Green and Hardy giving very productive mins.

This team has something so special! I became a Mavs fan since the Dirk era, and that feeling hasn't changed. I keep seeing over and over this ability to pick themselves up and somehow win, but besides the amazing talent they have, the vibe of this team is something I have never seen, and the reason I love the Mavs and forever will: THEY ARE A TEAM ON AND OFF THE COURT! These guys have a bond and a mental strength that's unmatched. I have seen many teams play and on paper they are "superior," super stars like Lebron, Ant, SGA and others destroy on the court, but the Mavs pick each other up, literally! and that starts from the top. It might seem ridiculous, but I love how Kidd picked up Derrick Jones from the floor after he scored, how Cuban is there, cheering with them, how Luka run to Kleber to hug him after he got that rebound that won us the game against the Clippers, or Lively cheering on Luka to go while still on the floor after getting that ball last night, you could see that! How Kyrie went to Luka and hugged him after sinking that three in the 4th quarter and they just look at each other and say: "Let's do this"...Like Kyrie said in that interview with TNT after winning game 1, the fact that they talk to each other, he called them "therapy sessions", Kyrie is like this Guru figure for them, and gives them the calm they need, always so serene, so respectful...they know each other, where they are on the court, what they're strengths are, they trust each other, win or lose, they laugh and joke with each other, it's just amazing to see, and no other team in the NBA has that!! and that's why I think they keep winning, everything they go through makes them stronger, and they're not even playing at 100%, they just have this ability to stay calm and mentally strong, correct mistakes and come back from behind, and of course they have these MONSTERS like Luka and Kyrie, c'mon! Cold blooded LUKA! and after that insane shot in the end, he immediately went and said, calm down guys, is not over, he snaps out and knows there are 3 secs to play still...wow!! Lively 10/10 this game, all of them contribute in such an awesome way, it's amazing to see. I think we can win it all, nothing's impossible!! LOVE THE PODCAST! LET'S GO MAVS!
Having role players like Naz lead the team in scoring is good if you win lol. We only won by 4 total points so let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. I am super excited though.
Kirk, reading my mind, yet again !! I Said after the “Luka constant ref bashing” loss to Nuggets at home followed by a Mavs win at Denver, Luka relishes the villain role in a hostile, away team environment.

Starting to get the sense that LD is annoyed and a little sick of the media and the stupid questions, the attempts at “gotcha” questions and the hot takes by all the talking heads on tv. Loved Luka’s demeanor at post game presser.
It was so unneccesary, unprofessional if you ask me. Just a super "try hard" moment for Tim. I wouldve been so visibly annoyed with him if I was Luka. I Liked how Luka brushed it off..

dallas is a fake 5 seed (sleeping giant). with this roster after the deadline they are a top 1 or 2 seed in the west
see if you keep scrubs like Dwight, Maxie and Timmy on the bench being 30-million-dollar cheerleaders lol great things happen
