He is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer based in South Korea and China
He can speak in English, Mandarin, Korean and Cantonese
Henry is a member of the legendary Kpop boy group Super Junior-M, as well as a solo artist. He is considered a music genius. He was classically trained in violin and piano since the age of 6, and he had plans to go to college to study classical music. However, the year he graduated high school he auditioned for SM Entertainment -- which is one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea -- when they held auditions in Canada and he impressed them so much with his violin dance routine that they signed him right away. (After joining SM and debuting with SJM he did end up going to college. He got a full-ride scholarship to Berklee School of Music in New York and he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music.)
Henry was one of the Kpop industry's very first foreign/non-Korean artists, and he only trained for about a year before he debuted in Super Junior -- and that was only because he needed to learn Korean and become more proficient in Mandarin. He debuted in Korea in 2008, so he has been a famous musician, artist, entertainer, producer, actor etc. for more than 15 years now.
Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian -- his dad is from Hong Kong, his mom is from Taiwan and he was born and raised in Canada -- and he can play almost any instrument. He really is a music genius.
Henry speaks 4 languages fluently -- English, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese -- and he speaks numerous other languages moderately well. He works really hard to speak to fans in their native language so he has learned a lot of languages over the past 15+ years.
Super Junior-M was the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of Super Junior, which created songs in Mandarin and promoted in China. This group was one of the very first Kpop groups made up of both Korean and Chinese members to become famous in China. Which is one reason why Henry is such a big deal internationally because he is a world famous artist who has learned to meld many different cultures together, endearing himself to people around the world.
As you discovered, what you just saw was a performance Henry created with a famous Chinese song by Jay Chou using a Loop Station. This performance was specifically created for this Chinese TV show, which featured famous Chinese singers performing classic Chinese hits.
Henry now owns his own independent music production company -- Monster Entertainment Group -- so he does all the recording, remastering and production himself. Everything you see and hear is 100% Henry. Most of the time when Henry does live loop station performances like this one, he has one of his staff sitting behind the scenes pushing the buttons to record the different sounds, etc. It's still all done live, he just has someone else making sure the sounds are recorded so that he can concentrate on the rest of the performance.
Henry is really famous for his Loop Station performances. His first loop station remix was of the Korean song "Bounce" by Cho Yong-Pil in 2014, czcams.com/video/Lt0XEZyedZM/video.html, and ever since then he has dozens of original songs, remixed/mashups and covers of songs he has created using a loop station.
Henry debuted as a solo artist in 2013, while still under SM Entertainment, and even before becoming a solo artist he gained a reputation for being an accomplished music producer. He has wrote, composed and produced all his own solo work, as well as numerous songs for other artists, including several Super Junior songs, songs for other Kpop groups and artists, such as EXO's "The Eve," and Korean- and Chinese-drama and movie OSTs, etc.
You should also check out Henry's most recent song "Real Love Still Exists," which was just released in March and his previous song "Moonlight" that came out in January. You should also check out his song "Radio" from his album Journey, which came out in 2020. He has a Korean version, Mandarin version and an English version of "Radio." But what you really need to see is a live performance of "Radio." He is a true performer, so all his live performances are designed to engage and entertain the audiences, and he never performs a song the same way twice. "Monster," which is one of my favorite songs from 2018, was his last solo song release under SM. He has an English version of "Monster" MV, a Chinese "Monster" MV and a Korean audio only version of "Monster."
You should also check out some of his live performances from the Korean TV show, Begin Again, which featured singer/songwriter Kpop artists who teamed up to form a group and they spent several weeks busking all over Europe. In Begin Again, not only does the group sing the songs live, but several of the members are also musicians so they perform the music live as well. In Begin Again you will see Suhyun from the Kpop duo group AKMU perform with Henry and several other famous Kpop solo musicians and singers as part of a group called The Family Band. This group was so popular that The Family Band actually did 2 seasons of the show. And the best part is they busked on the streets all across Ireland, England, Switzerland, Portugal and Hungary, etc., so the people they performed for don't speak Korean, but they always fall in love with The Family Band's performances. And Suhyun and Henry also participated in a third season in 2021 when they traveled around Korea to perform with some of their Family Band members, as well as other well known Kpop musicians and artist. This show showcases real life busking performances with some of the best musicians and singers in the Kpop industry.

He is also one of the top variety show guests in Korea and China. Everyone wants him on their program because they know he will bring them a lot of ratings. He spends most of his career traveling back and forth from Korea and China on almost a weekly bases because he is involved in so many different projects. He even broke into the U.S. entertainment industry in 2019 when he starred in the Hollywood movie "A Dog's Journey" alongside famous American actors, such as Dennis Quaid.
Now as an independant solo artist -- after leaving SM in 2018 -- Henry has launched his own CZcams Channel and he releases regular content and has become one of the most popular Kpop artists on CZcams.
To see just how influential and talented he is, check out the CZcams show that Henry produces called Henry Together where he invites child prodigy musicians and dancers on his show to showcase their talent and to mentor them. On his show he spotlights amazing young artists while creating really cool collaboration performances on the spot with these children. He is a big inspiration to many people and lots of artists and musicians look up to him.
Henry is currently 33 and he is the youngest member of Super Junior -- he debuted when he was 18 years old. And, not only is he a musician, but he is also known as a really good dancer and for the fact that he can dance while singing and playing the violin all at the same time. He is one of the first and only musicians to combine choreography while playing the violin. In high school he was the leader of the dance club and the orchestra, which is where he got the idea to combine his two passions. Henry's main dance style is popping and locking.

Henry is Canadian born Kpop artist who has been active since 2008. Multi-lingual singer, multi instrument (violin, piano, guitar etc), scholarship to Berklee School of Music, composer and songwriter. You can also add actor onto his list of talents both in Korea, China and Hollywood. This has all been accomplished by his early 30's.
He was in a Kpop group... but I don't think what he's doing in China now has anything to do with kpop lol...

Henry is a Canadian with Chinese parents (Father from Hong Kong, mother from Taiwan). He grew up in Canada, and played the piano and violin since a very young age. However, he got his break when he audition for k-pop boy band and was selected. He became active in Korean and made a name himself as a member of a Super Junior-M boy band. He was so talented (acted in movies, tv variety shows and etc) that he eventually also made a name for himself in China, Taiwan, Japan and etc. He was active in Korea pre-covid and during covid, being involved in the Begin Again, Korea series, street performing with a number of well-known Korean singers.
Also, you were right in terms of his voice/singing being tuned. Mainland Chinese productions are well-known to autotune. So to really know how good a singer is, fans often compare the official videos (autotuned) with videos the fans recorded (raw recording). And true enough, some singers are so good, e.g. J.J. Lin, Charlie Zhou Shen, that they hardly need autotuning.

Henry's stuff is always a bit edited. I personally think it's because he's a bit of a perfectionist and is always chasing the perfect sound and mix. I like his creativity, dislike his cheesiness, but overall enjoy most of his performances.
胡彦斌的小調版沒那麼簡單，張韶涵跟周深的一路生花……張很多歌都很好聽……
另外老師其實話裡話外都沒貶低HENRY的歌聲，老師是欣賞他的音樂能力，也覺得唱功不錯，她有點出滑音不易，她有一點小意見的是他團隊太精修了，老師沒覺得HENRY音樂表達上有問題，好明顥她意見是正面的，只是有點不明白他的表演為何要精修，話語間的意思不就是覺得HENRY有實力不需要精修嗎？老師覺得真實比較重要吧。
老師對HENRY的REACT都有點出這個精修的問題，不只節目，他的合唱還有MV，所以反而是HENRY的團隊選擇吧！而老師只是說出事實，有精修，她也說了他的歌迷BUY其實也沒所謂，所以老師是真的不吹不黑，真實點評！

這不能怪在henry團隊頭上，是節目組精修過度了。這是中國節目的普遍問題，音綜都有大量修音，因為很多歌手其實唱得不好。甚至節目畫面都要精修，但這都是藝人團隊要求，要求後期製作一格一格幫藝人p得好看。
我在想前面henry唱的部分可能沒有修，所以到了最後那個部分，突然精修音準了，老師才刻意說出來。老師是聽完了前面，知道henry是有能力唱到那幾個音，即便未必很完美。老師一直沒提修音問題，但是突然驚訝提出來了。
其實也不用太計較修音問題，只要是放在公眾平台的音樂影片，有修都很正常。只是一般人是聽不出來有沒有修，有的粉絲堅持henry live很強=影片不會/不用修音=老師是胡亂批評，真是😓henry也不是大vocal，也不應過分吹噓唱功

老師講話很含蓄😂
老師並不含蓄，但是她知道一個歌手表演表現的核心是什麼，而henry明顯不是大vocal，所以她不用大vocal的技巧和表現力去評論，更著重整個表演的表達。有些歌手唱歌技巧不成熟，但是能唱進你心；有的嗓子都破了但是情感從歌滿出來，評論只捉著那些破音走音也更沒必要。歌曲欣賞是多維度，老師是相當專業的。
老師曾被腦殘粉在網路攻擊謾罵過 所以後來就變得相對保守 沒有以前講得那麼深入 感覺現在她只敢含蓄的說說有沒有經過修音了
