I am a bit older than the norm to know Green Day very well (I'm 47), but of course instantly recognized this song, but had never seen "Billy Joe" in a concert; I have to say that I will share this with some of my hard core rock and rollers that worship the Stones, The Who, and of course the Beatles, and I will tell them that this guy named Billy Joe is a benchmark rocker with incredible guitar playing abilities, which shocked me as much as seeing Prince do his solo at RRHOF...very impressive!

WOW, the crowd has np rhythym at all! As a fellow musician, I can tell you what an awesome compliment it is, but also what a pain in the ass it is. I guess that's why Billie Joe is the professional. Being able to play thru it and keep the actual tempo correct in your mind is no easy feat !!!

Everything pre-nimrod was Eb but Nimrod onwards give or take a few songs everything was in E Standard. He used blue copies during the nimrod tour for E standard songs but used the real blue for Eb songs. Now he just uses les pauls and SGs for nimrod.
If you look closely it doesn't really much look like the original blue.
