Amazing how she gets turned into a victim after demanding the show revolve around her and she get the same amount as Will, but blames her skin tone for it lol
I applaud Will for inviting Janet back and having the humility to own his responsibility in the breakdown, giving her the space to share what was on her heart and apologizing... Both of them apologized and were genuine about it. I am in awe... that was pure non-violent communication there... something we could all learn from.
Such a beautiful MATURE and CLASSY way to mend the bridge/gap between the two of them as well as the cast and we the audience. WE LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU for allowing us to see on the inside..
Humility for what? Amazing how she gets turned into a victim after demanding the show revolve around her and she get the same amount as Will, but blames her skin tone for it lol
It's no secret that most fans prefer Janet's version of Aunt Viv, but Daphne is an incredibly sweet and gracious lady. "Like whichever Aunt Vivian you want, or like both of us. It doesn't really matter, love the show!" I really love her attitude, and you can tell she loves the cast dearly. It was such a sweet moment seeing her meet Janet for the first time. She didn't even hesitate to give her a hug and told her "Welcome home." Daphne's a class act. I'm glad Janet and Will finally reconciled, and that Janet got to see her former cast mates again after all of these years.
That was so beautiful and profound. The second Aunt Viv faced a lot of criticism. Although the original Aunt Viv was incredible the second did a great job and her best. I think it would have been more believable if he simply remarried but nonetheless that was beautiful. Second aunt Viv gave off more of a grandmother vibe to the show in my opinion.

@@Awillii The first Aunt Viv (Janet) had a strong character and effectively stood beside the rest of the cast and kept up with Will, Alfonso, and James Avery. When the 2nd Aunt Viv (Daphne) was put into the show, it was fairly clear from the writing her character was reduced and seemed she was standing in the back of the cast, instead as their equals. I was confused watching her character become almost formulaic. It wasn't the fault of the actress, but I really think Will had a hand in it to get the writers to diminish the role. With that said, it is good Will and Janet buried the hatchet.

I feel the hugs, the love and laughter is bursting outta me. Forgiveness has so much power in it. Loved the show, love the characters, love the actors. Kind of all happened in real time for me. Thank you all. God bless. With love from #PapuaNewGuinea. 💜
I noticed when janet finally returned to the set that the guy who played carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) was clearly kept at a distance. Well he was the most animated about her after the show ended. Overall it was a very good reunion show
Mal Ant you know I noticed that about Carlton as well. Could have just been nothing any way. All love I'm so glad the original ❤️ Aunt Viv was included couldn't have been any other way though👍👍
Rumor has it that Alfonso left the set when he heard Janet was coming as he still didn’t want to forgive
I noticed and was gonna say the same thing. Maybe he wished to not be present when she walked on set.
Finally someone else besides me noticed that!!! It was very disappointing that he couldn’t be mature enough to bury the hatchet.
@@sharkkeeper01 Funny thing I noticed with watching Fresh Prince once Daphne Maxwell Reid took over as Aunt Viv. Was Carlton and her never had a conversation with one another. It was like if she said something to him he didn’t say anything back and vice versa.
Seeing Mr. Smith and Ms. Huber hug gave me chills! Literally put tears in my eyes and made me realize how powerful forgiveness is.
A lesson we all need to learn right here and now in these troubling times that we are in. So grateful to have viewed this.
This is the reuion i was waiting for.I cry seeing you guys together again. We all will miss uncle Pill so much.Much love ti Janet and Will for putting this past each other.
This was so inspiring.. endearing and emotional at the same time... I'm so happy to see the love.. And admiration is still there.. Rest in paradise Mr James Avery 💯✌💗
I love both aunt vivs
He "Shredded" people with his anger, then he "Philed" them with his love.
Is that a turtle soup reference lol
@@TheRealX9 yep
this show was my no1 in them days, living in london this show gave me insights of other cultures and comedy.love the show
This was so nice, seeing the aunt viv's hug, I loved how they both also wore blue.
It will really never be the same without Jame but I'm excited to see this reunion.
James
Janet was the best Aunt Viv...
James Avery will always be #1 Dad
I was in tears and still tear up looking at it again, best thing that came out of 2020.
Oh dear this one made me going so hard. He was such a lovely person, a second father for many of us if you will. So sad he's gone!
I wanted it to be longer. I wanted to see a whole 2 hours of both aunte Vivian's just talking.
Anyone noticed that Alfonso left when Janis was on set? His hate is strong for her.
... taping "AFV".
@Neel1567 hopefully they do get a chance to talk.
I think if the 2nd Aunt Viv was 1st, she would’ve coexisted just fine but because there was someone to compare her to and there was such a contrast in how they approached the character it’s a big deal to people. Her response makes her so likable in my opinion.
Oh my gosh!! This is so awesome!! This is exactly what we needed in 2020. This is absolutely beautiful and I know that Uncle Phil is proud!!! Definitely smiling from above!!
Just beautiful, definitely a tear jerker ❤️❤️
sooo what did we not see in the special? lol
THE reunion 2020 needed. all of the feelz!! 🥺😭❤️
Mos definitely a click bait, wasn't ish didn't lol
I REALLY miss the first Aunt Viv!!!
Fresh prince cast has made us unexpectedly very happy once again. I hope they all go to heaven 💖. Lots of love tears and emotions right now that room must be filled with so much love at that moment. And this is not even my childhood sitcom heck I was born way after it ended.
Fresh prince is the best show ever to me ,it realy does touches me from every aspects, and am still watching it to this day over and over again.😊
