So, I really wanna share this experience. I was in 12th when my friends encouraged me to sing at the Fresher's party and I decided to do so coz my confidence was boosted after all the praises from friends and few of my teachers.
I didn't get much time to practice well and went on stage for audition. It was the first time I was facing such crowd and guess what! I couldn't sing anything. I got off the stage and was feeling ashamed. One of my seniors in a Whats App group made fun of me "hey Nandini! Aren't you the one on stage today!" And this comment was salt to my wounds.
And after this incident I've got phobia from mic and stage. Especially mic because I feel like I can't hear what am I saying or singing, I'm like am I too loud? Am I not singing well.
How much this incident impacted is, it's been 6 years of this incident and I'm still not over it. Recently I had to lead my juniors and instruct them on mic and I couldn't do.

Replace them with good ones like this one "I am saying this to you there is nothing in this world which is everlasting neither success nor failure just remember this you are the master of your life you don't have to be ashamed or answerable to anyone especially people making fun of you cz he/she ain't deciding your destiny it's you believe in yourself next time you hold a mic think of it as it's just a gadget to amplify the sound of your voice and the voice belongs to you 😀 All the best you will rock it 👍👌🏻🙏
