What if Lewis Hamilton never joined Mercedes in 2013? czcams.com/video/OguwadtuK5c/video.html
I have a question if you were an F1 driver what would your helmet design be like? For me as I'm Muslim it would be name of prophet Muhammad and 4 rightly guided Caliphs which style will be like in the mosques in Turkish how the design of the names will be like and if you are interested 4 rightly guided Caliphs are friends and followers of prophet Muhammad who would his successors in policy and religious matters and does 4 great men was Abu bakr, Umar RA, Usman RA and Ali RA. 😊👍
Other way to say Osman is Uthman RA
let me start a conspiracy- Red Bull downgraded their car because Perez won last time and they want him not to win.
Oscar and Liam, incredible talents. They will do very well in the future
Yep, this is why I reckon that Red Bull won't bother with Piastri and instead promote Lawson.
Oscar is definitely going to be a future champion. He really presents himself like a champion with his calm demeanor.
Seeing the performance of Piastri and now Lawson making a statement if I was Alfa Romeo I would have put Théo Pourchaire in for sure.
The most impressive thing about Liam to me is his attitude. Bro is just chilling and giving measured and thoughtful responses regardless of the race outcome. Also, Carlos' shaky days when it seemed like he couldn't keep his head under pressure are long gone, if Ferrari gives him a good car, he's got the racecraft, maturity AND strategy down now himself to snag a world title.
PS: Great work on TotallyNotMark's DBZ review!
Yep. He's another Piastri and thanks.
Definitely a massive improvement this layout. Also Sainz confirmed what I said about him after Monza: he is the Ferrari leader. Brilliant move to keep Lando just about close enough behind so he could defend from George with DRS. That's not just friendship, it's the kind of clever racecraft we typically see and admire in the likes of Fernando Alonso. Very impressive. I wonder if, supposing Liam Lawson does come in for Tsunoda, we could see Yuki moving to Williams to take Sargeant's seat that may well need filling at the end of this season. Then again, as unlucky as I think Yuki has been (because he's been much better than I had expected), a big part of me would like to see him out of F1 purely to increase the likelihood of a Mick Schumacher return. 😅
It's such an improvement.
Ah yes, the CarLando strategy. I get DRS and 2nd place, in return, you get to keep the 1st place. Very brilliant.
I bet Lando would return the favour of in future the roles are reversed.
He absolutely will.@@LawVS
I'd be hesitant to rate Liam so highly. He's obviously doing fantastic, but AT brought fresh upgrades and Daniel broke with wrist and Yuki has had some really unfortunate DNFs as those upgrades rolled in. We need a few more races to say anything for certain.
Of course, but him scoring on his third race is something to commend. He deserves the positive attention for the time being.
Even if the Alphatauri was a top 5 car, getting p9 means he had to beat 5 teams and 10 drivers after only having raced 3 times. Stroll can take a top 4 car and get 16th. Perez can take a top 1 car and not even make it into Q3. So he definitely deserves a seat next year.
He is doing great, but remember De Vries last year...
I felt so awful for George when he hit the barrier and retired in the last lap. Amazing race! Those last five laps were tantalising, I'm really happy to be able to witness this kind of racing in 2023 ❤
Yeah that was very unlucky and a sign that those Mercedes drivers are pretty much equal in raw skill but Lewis has the experience.
Nah, George is not a good guy anymore. hes drank the Merc koolaid and is insufferable like lewis and toto now.
@@LawVSCome race day Lewis is much faster
I could never feel bad for a rich kid that's never struggled before lmao
Lawson is the future of RB 🔥
Eum, Max?
@@proximacentauri3342 Yes, him too.
Max and Lawson are both could be the future of RB 👍🏼
Im riding big after Singapore i will be sad if Yuki gets benched he's done so much for the Alphatauri but i cant deny that the possibility of my favorite team have drivers representing both my homelands NZ and Aus has got me smiling big right now
Then we hear rumours he's survived for another year...then who gets the other seat? It's crazy!
Liam is a strong driver, his results in his junior career, beating Albon in DTM and his great results in Super Formula are testament to that. I do rate him as high as Piastri
He's definitely the Red Bull version of Oscar.
I was hoping to see some action between Piastri and Liam , unfortunately Oscar past Liam in the pits😢
Lawson has done well but the Alpha Tauri has improved quite a bit the last couple of races. I wouldn't rule out Yuki, i think next year will be Lawson and Yuki at AT. Maybe Ricciardo at Williams with Albon. I'm thinking Suzuka could be a Piastri or Norris win.
I would hope that the team keep Yuki along with Liam, but I fear that Yuki's done.
Daniel has NO interest in Williams he made that clear last year. I think Yuki still deserves his seat, but it's Red Bull so they'll likely kick him.
I do think Lawson is a big talent, but i dont want to overhype him either. I mean Yuki was faster than him throughout the weekend and he only made the points because of people DNF'ing ahead, but he drove amazingly for his first race ever at the track, and i really hope he gets a seat for 2024
I don't think Liam is the next big thing, but he's definitely a very good driver for Red Bull to keep and prevent slipping into obscurity.
Best race of the year, the quality of race very much increased when both redbulls weren't in the fight(no hate).
Indeed. Showed F1 CAN be exciting.
Sainz and Norris raced very smartly to fend off the Mercs. I've been saying for a while that Carlos seems to get a lot of criticism from some quarters and I don't understand why. Yes, he's not as fast as Charles, yes Leclerc tends to have the higher peaks. But Carlos is a very smart driver and is usually able to bring the car home (start of 2022 aside when he kept binning it in the gravel).
A little note: apparently, Leclerc made the call to start on softs himself.
McLaren had a great race. Piastri was impressive going from 17th to 7th without the upgrades and Norris drove well and as I said, raced very smartly with Sainz against the Mercs. Could he have gone for the win? Maybe, if he had a genuine chance, but 1) if he'd gone for it the Mercs probably would've got past and the podium would've gone down the drain, and 2) honestly, Sainz always looked in control.
Mercedes' call to double stack on to the mediums really spiced up the end. Russell went out the blocks quickly while Hamilton brought his tyres in more gently and was quicker than George. Could they have swapped? Maybe, but I'm not sure that Hamilton would've had any more luck than Russell in getting past Norris and Sainz.
Lawson was pretty impressive, he did a great lap to get into Q3 and kept it out of trouble in the race. I assume he'll race in Suzuka, and I imagine he won't race in Mexico at the end of October in order that he can race in Super Formula at Suzuka, where he has a shot at the title.
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things also No Carlo Sainz No Party 🎉🎉🥳.
Good review and analysis, thank you!
When you think about it, Tsunoda beating De Vries as much as he did turned out to be his downfall
It's all bonkers. Yuki should be safe.
Might as well head over to Aston Martin , else Williams
Even though i'm an Oscar fan as well i'm not biased in saying that you are one of (if not the most) reliable f1 reporter on all of youtube. You deserve the world and thank you.
I could see Lawson and Rick Bobby as the Hugo Boss Alfa Torro Rosso F1 Marco Racing team drivers next season with Yuki taking the reserve Red Bull driver role. Then half way through 2024 when Horner is tired of Perez, they fully dump him, move Lawson to Red Bull and Yuki takes up his current seat.
Points for the long team name.
I mean, stranger things have happened, it is RBR after all
Love the F1 channel as much as the primary channel.
In the Buu bits SSJ3 transformation scream, did I pick up some Sean Shemmel inspiration?
Yep. His technique was handy.
Liam just proved everyone that was asking for him to be in F1 right. He's the guy we were all hoping for.
Stroll's just...Idk he has been for quite some time at F1 by now. Can he actually get any better than this? I think we already saw his peak and this is kinda it. I know it won't happen, but he really should probably consider some other hobbie.
Logan's morale's probably took quite a blow on Singapore. He's at risk of really just giving up. That Zandvoort image of him sitting and staring into the abyss comes to mind.
Sainz really has been quite the driver that Ferrari needed now. Leclerc's got a ton of Raw speed, but Sainz has the brains and the cold mind to manage a team like Ferrari from the track.
Correct. Liam's buzz was justified.
I think Logan feels like a fish out of water. That body language just doesnt help.
Strolls trajectory has been a straight line. He makes every car he drives 7th fastest, 1 or 2 a year where he gets pole or a podium
Lawsons racecraft compered to Tsunoda in the corner with Tsunoda and Perez incident is huge. If Tsunoda took the outer line he could have scored like Lawson but he decided to risk a collision
Perez didn't help matters. He showed his impatience during this race, with the Albon incident as well.
That is true that incedet was clerly his fault, but Tsunoda could have avoided the collation by driving the outer line like Lawson@@LawVS
Wow. Can’t agree with you on benching Yuki as yet, but it was an incredible audition from Liam in front of almost all the top brass of RB. He is fast, humble, composed, intelligent, and focused on a mission. I think they’ll let him compete in the SF Finale, and then .. ? Some challenging conversations to be had at RB.
I see him alongside Max in ‘24.
I don't want it to happen but I'm so jaded with AT right now and Nyck that anything is possible.
Hear me out: if Lawson gets the AT seat next year (I am really hoping he does) and Yuki unfortunately ends up as the sacrificial lamb bc Danny Ric also stays at AT, Yuki to Williams. Logan hasn't been all that great and I think if Williams had the opportunity to get Yuki they'd be wise to at least take a shot at him. He has experience and still has loads of time to improve. Plus, Williams seems like a much less cutthroat environment. Williams seem like they are on the up and an Albon / Tsunoda pairing actually sounds pretty solid.
I bet that some teams will want to establish contact with Yuki, but I bet Aston will get the plum.
It's absolutely crazy to me how people replacing Tsunoda with Ricciardo or Lawson already, in Zandwoort he was running 8th until team decided to fak up his strategy, and then retired in two races without his fault.
I don't want that to happen. Yuki deserves another year.
I hope Stroll just retires and goes to ay tennis, and Yuki takes his place
I think Carlos' been learning from Charles and as Binotto said last year, he needed to get used to be in the front row, to drive a winning car. And Carlos has proven that he knows how to get poles and wins....and even a Grand Chellem...
Yeah. Carlos has changed his mindset and is acting like a front runner. No impostor syndrome here!
What a GP that was!!! Easily the best of the year, loved every minute of it. Wish Mercedes could have pulled off a 1-2 but what we got was still spectacular!
That proves F1 can easily be exciting if the playing field is somewhat even and less skewed.
Removing the chicane was one of the best decision ever. Singapore already being a geat example of streer circuit, the straight add a good amount of breathing and overtaking space. 9/10 race, nothing could've been better
This has definitely made the track all the more exciting. Move the third DRS zone to that new straight and it'd be perfect.
Im a big logan fan and I still hope he gets a chance for 2024, but at this point I dont expect anything. Not from him, or williams giving him a contract.
I think Vegas is his last chance to impress or score something. After that, it's not looking good. He's an OK driver in a very good field.
@@LawVS I hope you’re right
1:18 this is so nite-picky but as someone from the region it’s called Oceana 😅
Thanks! Wasn't sure but felt it was somewhat accurate. Noted for the future.
I agree with you in everything, but I would have added an extra winner: Ocon, who was having a really solid race!
He did but he didn't finish so that's a slate on Alpine.
I love to see lawson and Max together and i say this as a Max fan
Probably for 2025 or 2026.
This time I am commenting BEANS on a laptop because my phone is dead.
I also think that yuki might be out come next season but hey albono and yuki sounds like a good comp
Albon is a good team leader to bounce off of
I don't wanna hear anyone say F1 is boring any longer. 😅 What an epic season. I told you Yuki isn't safe. No one is in AP. 🎉 🏁
Forgot to add. What a smoooooth operatorrrrr. ❤
This race proved F1 CAN be exciting.
Comon, Liam has done well in a few races but saying almost as good as Oscar? That's a bit of a stretch :). I am still not convinced Yuki is gone but if Liam nails a couple more then I think you are right. The layout of the track was awesome and what a great race but lets be clear, if the VSC or SC didn't show up the race would have been different but woulda coulda shoulda is hindsight and Cheers to Carlos!!!! Lastly, we all knew George was gonna put it in the wall under that pressure. Poor guy.
I'm talking about attitude, potential and maturity.
Agreed.@@LawVS
I really hope yuki can find himself a place in another motorsport, he’s too fun and good of an individual to let slip into the history books just yet. Also YEEEEEESSSS FINALLY FERRARI GOT A DUB! AND WITH THE SMOOTH OPERATOR NO LESS. I’m so happy my team did so well.
Yuki definitely deserves one more year at AT and then maybe plan a move to Aston for 2025.
@@LawVS yuki replacing stroll would be a massive win for both of them. Stroll can move f1 aside and pursue something he enjoys and yuki gets a superior team with more funding and backing and could learn from one the most experienced driver on the grid.
good job by haas but how did gunther block hulk from going to alfa romeo wasnt his contract up ???
There were talks in the background and that's why it took a while to lock Zhou down and confirm Hulk
CARLOS!🎉🥳😁 He really IS the team lead now 💪🏼
SMOOOOOTH OPERATOR!!!!
2:20 CARLOS SAINZ TACTICAL BRILLIANCE
Smoothest operator
I tend to agree that Liam is likely top of the list for Alpha Boss. Which is very harsh on Yuki since he has basically missed two race weekends through no fault of his own. Had the car not failed him he had every chance of finishing ahead of Liam in Monza and had he managed to set a time in Q2 in Singapore his race here would have been very different. Unfortunately these 'if only' situations are not considered in the world of F1. I would like to think they let him see out the year though as it would be very harsh to drop him. If his luck improves and he has a strong finish to the year maybe Checo will be the one to miss out.
I think Yuki's management team should be talking to Aston though. Even though the Honda partnership isn't in place yet I'm sure they could have some influence. Stroll just doesn't seem to be coping with the pressure that comes with a car capable of decent results. I think he put in some pretty good performances when he was driving a lower-midfield car but he hasn't been able to make the step up.
Yep. Aston is a good escape route.
Had no doubt about Lawson's abilities, it's sad that someone will lose out between Yuki, Ricciardo, Checo and Liam
I know...it's so nerve-wracking
tbf only mercedes has the new medium tyres to put on during VSC
But they made the call during preparations.
I really really really want Yuki and Lawson for next year. Ricciardo has had his chance so coming back to the junior team is un redbullish. Kvyat was slated for coming back in 2020 because he was getting a second chance and that was when RB had no juniors ready for F1, Ric is just taking up space because he's good for marketing and has a strong history. For once Marko is being too lenient
I hope they get to drive together for a season properly.
Woww, I'm surprised Stroll's crash wasn't more expensive than 1.2 mill, I figured the entire car was a write-off
That is a rough estimate based on the Destructor's Championships estimates. But still, that's over a mil at least.
@@LawVS Indeed, I don't mean to sound like 1 mill is nothing lol. Love your content btw! I really respect that you talk more about the human element in your vids, from a more empathetic point of view, rather than just stats. Thanks!
Maybe Williams can try to get Nyck back, seems like they mesh pretty well
I doubt Nyck wants to come back this soon. It must've been hard for him.
Regarding max, at some point around lap10 or something it really felt like Max was going to win because of the way he was passing the other cars. Probably win is a bit far reach, but a podium would have been there if the safety car had not been deployed. That safety car pretty much destroyed their strategy. Despite all, P5 was a good result almost had P4.
Yeah he did great considering the disadvantage the car had
All my coworkers wondering why I blew water out my nose and all I can show them is Banana Leclerc
Lawson is Red Bull's future. I would drop Checo and put Daniel there. Allow Yuki and Lawson to drive at AT for next season. Not sure that's good strategy, but Perez has already checked out and doesn't seem to want to be there. So why not have 4 drivers who want to race for Red Bull.
I feel if Lawson carries the second team, he'll get the 2025 callup.
Yeah Carlos has had a great season so far bravo
Yep. Best season ever.
liam lawson reminds me a lot of max verstappen in 2015
Perhaps a little calmer though.
That's a stretch..... he's not that young nor has he shown THAT level of talent. He's mega quick, but his first ever qualifying was poor. Max was immediately a big name who was at speed right from the get go, but Lawson is superb so far.
Hopefully this means more aggressive and disruptive strategies from Mercedes instead of taking the most conservative, risk-free approach race after race.
Showed that that plan can work so long as the drivers work together instead of fighting each other.
@@LawVS I dunno. I want more racing, not less.
Commenting before watching the vid btw. Of course leclerc is and should be in the loser bracket BUT knowing he qualified before carlos he changed his strategy to not help himself but rather the team and Carlos and therefore played a big role in the win. Just hope Law mentions that
I get that but when asked to keep a gap he was defiant. He needs to relax.
@@LawVS Yes he was because it would’ve pushed him closer to Russell and he wanted a 1-2.
After having watched the leclerc segment have to say I heavily disagree with your statement. The team & Charles was doing everything they can for Ferrari to win. Carlos qualified higher up and therefore got priority in the race of course.
As for his race pace in the 2nd part of the race it has been reported he had engine issues and that’s why he fell off a cliff and ended up 20+ seconds behind the leading pack👍🏽
@@LawVS Yes he was, because he was getting backed up into George/Lando.
Still couldn’t disagree more Carlos is #1 driver, in a car that suits his style more than Charles quali gap was 0.067. Leclerc struggled in S3 all weekend and that tiny mistake which cost him pole ultimately cost him a victory.
This is the best Sainz been driving and still it’s extremely close between and honestly even though Leclerc is my favorite driver I LIKE to see Sainz this competitive and pushing leclerc because with 2 drivers we can get fight Merc for 2nd in the constructors championship.
Apologies for the long comment:)
dang charle leclerc reminds me a lot of sebastian vettel 2018-2020 when he was at his twlight years at ferarri they both made mistake that knock their confidence ( germany 2018 and france 2022)they got beaten by their teammate (charle leclerc 2019-2020 and carlo sainz 2023) and potentially lose their team leader role damn the similarity are just so sad
The car has gone in carlos direction this year. Charles likes oversteer and therfore a very strong front end, which last years car had and this one doesnt. Until singapore, the only reason he was behind was because of his lost podium in bahrain and the resulting 10 place grid penalty in bahrain, and he effectivly had a another DNF because of the car in spain.
He actually made the decision to make one of the 3 scarifces during this race, which was starting on the soft tyre, and then he got left out to dry when the VSC came.
The fact that they can run so close to each other (literally less than a tenth at the last couple of races) is why they are the best river line up by far They both maximise results in mid cars, and carlos drops back to a perfect number 2 role in cars with championship potential which is where leclercs scary raw pace and talent shines.
Its the only driver lineup im confident in saying that if they had the fastest car by 3-4 tenths, they could both be champions, leclerc by decimating everyone and sainz in a rosberg esqe bare minimum mathematically driven campaign.
Lewis and Max could both win championships, but checos proven he doesnt have the pace and Russel spends most of hsi time driving into walls and crashing into midfield cars.
Charles is just rushing. He needs to chill and not worry.
Liam is virtually assured a Alpha Tauri seat next year along side Dan3
Rumours say that he won't get a seat.
I was really negative in your race predictions and I have never been happier to be so wrong. Carlos has definitely shown that he is far more than capable. Leclerc looked like such a hero up until early to mid 2022 where he just came unstuck and he's struggled to perform since then. I get the Ferrari could be a bit of a pig to drive at times but Carlos is really unlocking it at the moment
It's OK to be wrong! I'm glad we were all pleasantly surprised.
There's no way they bench Yuki, Lawson still has super formula too. I reckon they're gonna sub him(Lawson) out and another team will pick him up.
Logic would dictate that, yes...but with De Vries being benched like that, anything could happen.
If Vesti wins F2 Logan is almost certain to lose his seat. Mick and Alex in Williams for 24 and Vesti replacing Mick as the Merc test driver.
Perhaps. It's a decent shout.
Surely Lawrence Stroll has to let it go at some point. AM is true operation trying to get to the front and internal as well as sponsor pressure must be getting up there now. So many talents that are deserving of a shot at Stroll's expense: Palou, Lawson, Drugovich, O'Ward, Pourchaire etc.
I don't think they can. Krack's comments are getting delusional at this point.
@@LawVS For real, it's so disconnected from reality it's almost becoming infuriating at this point
must admit, I think that of all F1 content creators, you have the most recent bias, many times I questioned your predictions, and the most memorable ones being British GP and singapore, predicting both merc outside of the podium in the British GP one just because they didn't do well in austria (and you were right if it wasn't for the safety car the pace of the mercedes wouldn't have been enough for a podium), and Ferarri to do well just because they were quick in Monza.
This year in general the differences between the teams are so small that a car can be the 2nd best car and the 4th best car from one circuit to another, even if no one brings updates so recent bias it won't help you, but in your case it works. Congrats!
It's partially true since 2023 has shown that upgrades are so imperative to success in the sport. You can't stand still in F1 at the moment.
It's a better layout for sure.
Yep. I hope it stays.
I think this is the race that also sealed Logan's fate. The excuse of "he's just a rookie" no longer works for Logan after he's been trounced both by Oscar and now Liam. Even once he loses his full time seat, I hope he stays on as a reserve and simulator driver, much like Jack Aitken did back then.
He's up against so many good drivers and the likes of Lawson and Piastri have outshone him.
Singapore GP was LIT🔥🔥🏎️Congrats Ferrari🏆
LawVS praising Lawson
Of course I am! Rookie scores three races in, in the worst car.
Don't think Ricciardo will replace Yuki. Yuki has points and the support of Honda and had some bad luck that wasn't his fault. Ricciardo did relatively well in the first race, but was nowhere in the second. As for why there wasn't anyone from Mercedes at the podium, I think they were all trying to comfort George, who lost it in the final rounds. At least we now know who the 1st drivers are at Ferrari (Saintz) and Mercedes (Hamilton).
Yep. Yuki still has the Honda connection and saved Alpha from a duck.
its so funny to me how much money Ferrari has spent on Charles career just to get show up by Carlos for 2 of the 3 season as teammates
They need to realise that they must let the drivers feel the car and the race and help them out.
Y'all took this long to give Sainz his flowers? That's tough.
Nope I've always rated Carlos.
I hope the rumors about Yuki's extension are true. Would love for him to still be racing next year.
I hope he gets that extension. He deserves one more year at least.
Potentially, Yuki could do well at Williams and give them 2 consistent drivers
I'd do one more year at AT, then go to Aston for 2025.
I wonder if they'll let Lawson finish the super formula season
I'm getting a feeling that they might pull him out and replace Yuki with Liam after the season ends or at Qatar.
Depends how well Danny Ric does. I love Riccardo but I think if Yuki is equal or faster than him he deserves the seat
I really don't think AT will drop Yuki. If anything, I see Yuki and Liam next year. If they don't sign Liam, I really hope Liam goes to Williams, alongside Alex.
I don't think so either and neither should they.
Albon was about to overtake Lawson, then Checo ruined it. Williams were in it for way more than a single point. Assuming he could have defended against checo, and after the Russell crash, Williams could have had another P8 :(
Yeah. Albon was on for good points.
Yeah… Yukis sticking around at AT since he legit only completed 2 and a half laps in the last two races, which doesn’t help gauge where Yuki is compared to. As much as Liam is showing up, Yuki is not going to get the boot, he’s not DeVries
He's been too good to drop.
I knew before the video that Yuki signed.
It's expected or at least his future will be mentioned. But if that's the case and he's on for 2024 - good!
I've been so jaded by Red Bull that anything was possible.
i hope that lawson will give max the challenge of his life if he ever goes to RB
He's got a good chance.
Drugovich deserves the 2nd Aston Martin team. (Am I bias because of him being a fellow countryman? Yes, but it is irrelevant)
No I wouldn't say so. The current F2 champion...vs Lance Stroll...I don't think that's weird to compare.
I feel very bad for Yuki… you can tell he is trying his best but hasn’t had any luck. Plus his team didn’t show up for him with the Verstappen fiasco then he got knocked out by Checo 😢
Indeed. So many bad luck moments.
Do you know why Lewis didn't get penalty for overtaking Checo outside of the track? It was on lap 24, the timing table still showed Lewis behind checo when Lewis's all 4 wheel went off the track.
I wasn't aware of that
@@LawVS it was on lap 24. Checo was furious.
Is Alfa Romeo still Alfa Romeo in 2024? Or will they eventually go back to being Sauber?
They'll be Sauber again.
You have to fix the tags on your video, bacause even when i search for "formula1" or "f1" non of your videos come. You need more exposure to the algorythm.

Well... the point is that the RB drivers have sealed the driver victory and even if they get only a 3/8 placements in next six races the constructors, so let the others have some fun, while we develop till next year.
It is like not even funny, its business...
Yeah the team has wrapped things up now.
I don’t agree with getting rid of Yuki. I understand everyone likes DR but he had his chance with 4 different teams and it hasn’t worked out. I say give Liam the seat and let Yuki stay until next season. AlpahTauri is basically a team to develop drivers, not to hold seats for drivers who underperform.
I don't want him to go. Yuki deserves at least another year.
Audi was just biased towards having a stable German driver opposed to having to grow a driver like zhou
But Sauber preferred stability. At least for 2025.
Do you think lando could catch Russell he's only 12 points behind also do you think McLaren could catch aston Martin i think so it might come down to the wire but i believe they can do it
It's going to be tricky to catch Aston for P4 with 7 races left, BUT if Aston can't keep up and McLaren are up at the front, they could just do it. But it's going to require both Norris and Piastri to score big.
@@LawVSwhat about norris catching Russell do you think he can If McLaren are competitive until the end of the season he's only 12 points behind
Mercedes clearly choke like about 5 laps earlier must have give order to let Lewis pass and let him have a shot on Lando and Sainz. Either George was feeling pressure to not lose podium or still want to push with Norris either way it just really cause him and Mercedes
That was definitely the blemish on Mercedes' race. I bet they were surprised by the sheer progress they made.
If that crash ends up sealing Yuki's fate, boy that'd be a tough pill to swallow!
Checo: If I'm going down I'm taking you with me.
Logan Sargeant was not only a loser here, he goes in the _dark bin_ for this race in my book. This was his last proper chance to put himself in good stead with Williams and I suspect that his time will be done come season's end.
If he had not brought the car back then yes.
I hope Max starts from the Pit Lane in Japan and then Slipstream Yuki all the way to P2 finish #Hopium
Yuki needs a good race at Suzuka. We need it.
We the fans were the true winners this weekend, an epic last few laps and an old school Ferrari vs McLaren shootout.
Yup. Was great fun.
Anyone here that thinks that Yuki would be in F1 if Honda wasn't?
Honda DID help in 2021, but Yuki's raw talent was enough to keep him in the sport for this long.
@@LawVS : Staying in F1 is not as hard as getting into F1. Yuki is an average F1 driver ... there's more kids like Liam knocking on his door.
I feel bad for yuki he had some unfortunate dnfs
He really does have bad luck
Checo is getting really annoying shunting people off the track. However, I feel like Alpha Tauri (or whatever it's caleed next year) should keep him instead of Ricciardo. I'm sorry but, for me, Ricciardo has got less potential in the future. As much as I like him, I'm definitely agreeing in saying that his time in F1 is done
Those incidents were completely scruffy and unnecessary.
@@LawVS Exactly. I mean, fighting this hard against an Alpha Tauri and a Williams in a Red Bull, that's ridiculous
you forgot to mention that Max Verstappen impeded Yuki Tsunoda (and the Mercs in the pits) during qualifying and got away with it without a grid penalty
That came down to a lack of communication and Alphatauri weren't told to attend the hearing.
@@LawVS Leclerc was punished for impeding in Monaco despite lack of communication from Ferrari and he definitely ruined Yuki's lap, it's a slam dunk case
Power of friendship....it was in their best interest to fend off Mercedes. Once you are strapped to the car there are no friends just P1
Oh lighten up. It's a little humour in the wake of their actual friendship and trust in one another to make that plan work.
Remember what they got last time red bull went "wow that 1 race was good" they got nick de sacked
Difference was that Nyck wasn't from their stable and he was an impulse "buy" from Marko that he wanted rid of.
You can’t blame Tsunoda for what happened. It’s not fair. First a mechanical failure and then getting hit by Perez being a jerk, he hasn’t gotten the chance to prove himself in the past 2 races. You can’t judge him off a race he hasn’t been able to partake in because of issues outside of his control. Sure you can argue he might’ve been able to avoid Perez, but it’s lap 1 and a racing incident. One that is not Yuki’s fault.
I don't blame him at all. It wasn't his fault.
@@LawVS Sorry, I forgot to say great video first of all. It wasn’t a thing specifically targeted at this video at all, it’s just the general sentiment is that people think Yuki is underperforming when he literally hasn’t had the opportunity to perform for the last two races. Couldn’t agree more, Carlando Masterclass was unreal and as a McLaren diehard I couldn’t be happier with P2/P7 considering the circumstances especially for Piastri.
