- Watch the whole series on All 4: www.channel4.com/programmes/skins
In the first part of the final story, Cook has a job delivering drugs to Manchester revellers. But when he is asked to help his employer's girlfriend find a house, he feels irresistibly attracted to her. - Zábava
I love Cook now, he's much calmer and more reserved. If he was like that in his younger days in Skins, I might have even been rooting for him instead of Freddie in the love triangle.
If you watch the episode you'll notice that he's very serious now, I would describe it as cautious, and constantly haunted by the past.
it's a testament to jack o'connell's acting ability that you can see the subtle difference between cook now and cook then. i was looking forward to cook's episode's and the first one didn't disappoint. the effy and cassy eps were a massive disappointment.
Rise feels like a whole new form of storytelling from the series. Much more dark and psychological which makes it great for cook's charecter
That's the whole point. Hes older now. He's not an immature kid anymore who does drugs every minute. He's a man
It's so odd watching Skins after I've met Jack O'Connell in person and hugged him in a Finnish Skins party. Such an experience.
My precious Cookie Monster is back
Okay Ms. Queen of Skins.
Congratulations, you're a true fan.
You're on a pedestal above the rest of us.
Here's a badge and a cookie to Angelica, the truest Skins fan in the world.
finally someone!
need..more..Cook!
Skins Rise was shot in my city xD
Is it just me. Or Louie looks like Chris haha
he does wow
Whyyyy cant i watch this omgggg!! Thisis not fairrrr
anybody knows the name of the song that starts playing just after this clip ends? thx
They all have. It's like they gave them all the same personality.
Looking for the beige and tartan jacket cook wears in skins rise, can anyone help ? Thanks
"You think you know death, but you don't, not until you've seen it, really seen it... And it gets under your skin and lives inside you. You also think you know life, stand on the edge of things and what you go by but you're not living it, not really, your just a tourist, a ghost, then you see it, really see it, it gets under your skin and lives inside you, and there's no escape, there's nothing to be done, and you know what it's good, it's a good thing, and that's all iv'e got to say about it."
What brand is the brown jacket of cook!? Please!!!
The other dude looks like Dan Howell lolz
Someone please tell me what is the name of the song at the begining of the video.
why isn't this full episode on youtube yet?
does anyone know the rest of the soundtrack? please...
Where could you watch the new episode?
brown jacket is a mystery, thinking it may be specially made for the program. The closest to the brown jacket is a worker jacket by either carhartt or dickies but cant find any tartan shoulder patch jackets
if you read through the synopsis from Wikipedia it is mentioned that the truth behind what happened to Dr. Foster is revealed so i am assuming that they will have it mentioned somewhere in this story.
Not quite as excited for this one to be honest, Cook was never one of my favorite characters since he was kind of a douche & reminded me of the guys who used to bully me in high school =/ But he seems oddly humble here, & as they've said, "time changes everyone", so I'm still interested in seeing where they've taken this one. The other scene has an inner narrative, which is something I wish they would have done with Pure & Fire. I wish Skins wasn't ending, but these are amazing episodes
we all hope so, but personally i don't think that they are going to do that.. But it's the only thing that we really want to know and see!!!
the closest to the green jacket I can get is a carhartt sheffield deck jacket in green
Do you have the link? (:
It hasn't come out yet...
I think I'm gonna like Rise the best because it really is more realistic in a way. Because no one is going to be totally fucked up like Effy and move on from there problems so fast. Things like that take time!
no ffffin about baaam thats u lol
Yeah but I heard that Cook's whole episode might actually be about Foster and that he's running away from the police because of it but I'm not 100% sure
Can you write please what they saying? PLEASE!
so apparently in the episode they explain wat happened to john foster but I wanna know now!
Exactly what I was thinking. A guy taking his boss's girlfriend out, and then weird things end up happening.
This is basically the Vincent Vega/Mia Wallace story in Pulp Fiction
True, but it was very discreet.
This EP will tell about what happened that night at John Foster's home. So, Freddie might be mentioned. It's never too late to read SkinsWikipedia people.
Lol he never mentioned Freddie :(
yes
And I think Effy mentioned something about Freddie too
nero etude... i think that's the one you're looking for xx
Yea on the website they said the truth about him comes out
Hmm, yeah. What you said is clearly the deepest thing I've ever heard. I wasn't bragging, btw.
Because he doesn't want to come back how he used to be.
-When I find this link-
Aw better not be a troll
-Sees vid-
I fucking LOVE YOU!
This is reminding me of Pulp Fiction
when we meet the once likely lad again 'cook', that youthful spark has been all but extinguished - his life a twilight world of rough and ready sex and drug-dealing in cars, the devil-may-care attitude replaced by a dull pain behind the eyes as he plays chauffeur and dogsbody to a Manchester drugs boss. It’s a downbeat opening half and no mistake but Jack O’Connell breathes believable life into a youth turned sour - and there’s a hint that this firework may not be burnt out just yet…
Wow, aren't you optimistic. To you hugging a TV and a film star is a every-day experience, then?
Are they going to tell what happened to foster and the past?
Most likely not :/ They never mentioned Freddie in Effy's episode
Yes, what happens to John Foster is revealed.
Junya Watanabe x Carharrt collab from three years ago
From what Cook said near the end of rise part 2 I don’t think Cook killed Foster, most likely he beat him bloody but stopped because of his past behaviour
I honestly think the thing that made Cook see sense was the influence he had on his little brother, seeing his little brother use multiple bad language and do something stupid under his influence he was like shit, Cook blames his parents for his recklessness and aggression but with a little influence he gave to his brother he thought I’m a hypocrite
Plus he’s been bare witness to two unstable people and lost those close to him, he’s living with PTSD and working for a psychopath he now knows about messing with the wrong people
Cassy did in pure, she talked about sid.
Let it go...
anyone need the link for rise hmu in a message
"No fucking about"... this guy really doesn't know Cook well does he lol
probably not
I have no idea what i'm going on with it being a good one for you
I dont know, the story is similar. Three guys into the same girl. He driving to scape with her. As he did with Effy :S
Well Cooks still alive so fosters obviously dead....
It's obvious that Cook kills Foster, even in Season 4. Even though the season pulls a Berserk 1997 and ends right in the middle of a big climax!
i dont think so :(
Possibly. Although Skins Fire and Pure didn't mention shit from the past.
Pretty sure he is dead, would be cool if we got a flashback scene though.
Doesn't Louie kind of look like the youtuber danisnotonfire?
i love liam boyle i like his character louie i know he is the bad guy but does not anyone like him beside cook of course :D
what about freddie
Just watched Rise part 1, Cooks episode is the best so far then 2nd would be cassies, Lucian got fucked up.
Is it just me or does Louis look a bit like Chris?
Cook hot hawt
Cook killed Foster.
Yeah they did, he killed him that's what happened....
isn't he attracted to charlie cause she looks like effy ??
He got hotter.
Skins is so boring now.
I just don't see the point.
