We will be top 10 defense if we get another edge rusher
We don't need one. Maybe a rotational player. Someone to come in and put pressure on in obvious passing downs. Otherwise DeMarcus is a good all around DE. Plays the run as well as rush the passer. Drafted Booker to help with the pass rush.
#1 in defending against the rush might be meaningless, as few teams rely on rushing. #20 in pass defense looks like a big problem. The Packers drafted 11 players. Jordan Love nearly took them to the Super Bowl last year...I am not so sure the Bears will be able to beat GB next year. I think we are all being overly optimistic. :)

The Bears are trying to Build a top 5 Offense. It is very hard to have a top 5 Defense without multi pass rushers. They used there high draft picks on offense not Def. I hope you are right. I watched the Bears in the 80s, Teams were afraid to play them. I don't get the feeling that teams like the Packers or KC are afraid yet. GO Bears (PS why so angry? To swear at 7-13? @@jprice6419 helpful but not really necessary. If Gervon and Zach continue to improve it may be the difference maker. Like I've been hearing, next year's draft class is looking to have multiple Edges &DT's coming out next year so I'm gonna continue to believe that Ryan Poles is BUILDING BACK BETTER!
