  • Two ways to replace AR-6 Speaker Grill Cloths Also 3a's, 4x, Large Advent, and Dynaco a25's. This process can be used for most speaker projects. This is the icing on the cake. Bad grills will make your job look bad. The badges are the jewelry. Some speakers don't look good with the grills off. Which include: Large Advents, Acoustic Research, Dyanco's and KLH"s.
I hope this Video will help someone with their speaker projects.

I am about to perform a complete overhaul on my AR-4 Xa pair. Your craftsmanship is clearly a part of being an artist, perhaps one who works with framing and canvas. Very clear, efficient, and appreciated!

I'm getting ready to redo my A25's. This was done very good and without any stress. If you answer question I have one with if you hot glue it say a drink is spilt on the fabric is it easy to remove the fabric that has been hot glued is it easy to remove that fabric so to put new fabric on. I want to compliment you work. You so a great job was thinking if you would come to my house and do mine. LOL JUST JOKING. Thanks you done a video. OH you do the corners great.

Helpful video! I used the same fabric because it reminded me of the Dynaco A25 speakers!

Great Job! You can get cloth to tighten over a frame by "lightly" and evenly moistening (not wet) the cloth with a misting spray during the stretching process, then, after all the fasteners are set, allowing it to dry. It will be much tighter than if it is stretched dry. You can even re-tighten a cloth covered frame by evenly misting it and allowing it to dry. I learned this when building model airplanes with cloth covered wings and fuselage. The only thing to be careful of is that the frame should be clean and made of wood, not Masonite, because dirt will wick into the cloth and soil it, and Masonite will warp. I have also fixed dented oil painting canvasses (already painted) by moistening a small cloth and transferring the moisture to the back of the painting by lightly dabbing the moist cloth on the dented area (lightly moist, not wet). After moistening, let it dry. The fabric will re-shrink and the dent will be gone! It won't fix any paint damage though! Thanks for your great videos!!!

Do you remember the name of the cloth and eBay seller? I like the look of the material

Excellent video. How did you get the original grills off? One of mine is not functioning properly and I would like to take a look at the speakers themselves.
