    Hi Kristen, tnx for this nice and clear video! But how to proceed for a large chart (I want to put the head of a lion on my grandson’s knitted sweater, just one colour) Do you mark the stitches first with a pencil or so? What would you recommend? Tnx for your advise. Dona (from Belgium)

      I forget their official name but they are meant to use with DPNs or Double Pointed Needles. They actually have 5 holes for up to 5 DPNs to keep there. Her's are actually little sheep. :-)

      It depends on the crochet stitch but yes in basic principle. Also look up embroidery techniques. Here is one of mine that you can create on the top of the blanket, however the back on both with show some stitching. czcams.com/video/zrwz8IipTuE/video.html

    • @GoodKnitKisses
      @GoodKnitKisses  Před 4 lety +1

      chisenchick It’s not as easy to do honestly I would just I use something called surface crochet. And I actually just uploaded a video on it 20 minutes ago. Here is a link to the video. All you need is a crochet hook in the yarn that you want to use it’s actually super easy and in many ways can be easier than duplicate stitch. It can be used in a very freeform type of way versus the duplicate stitch which can look more like a digitized letter. czcams.com/video/37P82z33iCc/video.html
