Feeding on the wrath of man
Shot down
Traumatic
Time haunted by the past
Long gone
Dogmatic
Although the die is cast
Shot down
Volcanic
But what is done is done and done
Look back
Psychotic
No chance before this life began
Staring into black light
Dominating birthright
Wrath of man
Leaching through
Split in two
Wrath of man
Crash into
Point of view
Wrath of man
Violence
Inheritance
Wrath of man
Thrive upon
Feeding on
72 seasons gone
Feeding on the wrath of man
Shoot back
Erratic
Mad seasons take their toll
New mask
Chaotic
Completely lost control
Shoot back
Fanatic
Wither under looming shadow cast
Slip back
Narcotic
Blinded by the ashes of the past
Staring into black light
Choking on the stage fright
Wrath of man
Leaching through
Split in two
Wrath of man
Crash into
Point of view
Wrath of man
Violence
Inheritance
Wrath of man
Thrive upon
Feeding on
72 seasons gone
Piercing through
Cut in two
Polarize
Point of view
Crash into
Paralyze
Feeding on the wrath of man
Man down
Barbaric
Quick fire machine gun thoughts
Deep seed
Stigmatic
Some have and some have not
Man down
Demonic
No mercy from the ghost within
Turn back
Hypnotic
There’s breathing out but not back in
Staring into black light
Permanently midnight
Wrath of man
Leaching through
Split in two
Wrath of man
Crash into
Point of view
Wrath of man
Violence
Inheritance
Wrath of man
Thrive upon
Feeding on
72 seasons gone

There's a special feeling I get when Metallica releases a new album. I don't get this feeling with any other band, it's hard to describe.
Of course, it's fucking METALLICA
I only look forward to Metallica, Opeth, and In Flames
I did get hyped for a bit but after trying the 3 singles I was kinda disappointed and all hype was gone
See, there are a lot of metal bands that we love, but they'll never be MetallicA, period !
@@mrlozano Very similar taste!
6:04 this part never gets out of my head, listened to this song a year ago for the first time, but I literally replay this moment every day in my head. Pure perfection
It’s crazy to me that this album is already 1 year old. I remember the day it was officially released. It was a Friday, I had taken the day off because I was flying to west palm beach with my family. I had first listened to the album on the plane ride and I loved it. It was especially wonderful because my birthday was about a week away. The first Metallica album to come out in 7 years was possibly the best gift I got that year. And what seems so recent was more than a year away truly shocks me.
This an amazing openeing track for the new album and will be a great opener for their upcoming tour! This song shows why no other band will ever replace Metallica as my favorite band! Absolute legends!
I actually think Lux Aeterna might be the opener at some concerts, in my opinion, since it reminds me so much of Hit the Lights. But, regardless, this song is absolutely INCREDIBLE, I can agree with you on that!
@@JNewsted1988 as it’s double shows with no repeats, I wouldn’t be surprised if these are the two opening songs in each city
@@JNewsted1988 Lux Aeterna reminded me a bit of Hardwired, so I kinda HOPE that they'll use that one as an opener. I LOVED the Hardwired opener. but maybe they'll alternate between Lux and Seasons.
I'm still not entiraely impressed by this album, maybe it needs a few listens. But personally I liked Megadeth's latest album they released last year over this one
The fact that this song will be *EIGHT GODDAMN MINUTES* is enough to get me hyped!!
How can you tell?
I extracted the metadata by putting the video link into a metadata program, and the result said that the video duration is 8 Minutes 39 Seconds.
@@DarkthroneChiger Cool!

Fuck yeah there is
But the feeling on concert day, before show, vibe is amazing…. Like it the most, so much energy.

F$ck Grammy! We don’t need them to prove how great Metallica 🤟
Metallica were the band that introduced me to metal when I was 12 years old in 1991. I've been listening to rock and metal nearly everyday since, and the exhilaration never fades. This will be the next album I actually buy.
Similar, I was 12 in '92 and got into the black album, then very quickly the rest of the back catalog, also Iron Maiden at the time, they still hold the top 1 and 2 spots for my favourite albums, Iron Maidens Powerslave at no1 and ...AJFA at No2.!
I'm part of the younger generation of Metallic a fans, the late Gen Z dudes. But I didn't discover them through Stranger Things lol I heard For Whom The Bell Tolls back in early 2021, when I was 12. Ever since, I've been a metalhead.
Metallica don't need anymore money.
@@TheLotusMachine It was also the black album I bought first, then the rest of the back catalogue in reverse order. I got into Maiden shortly after in 1992 with Seventh Son being the first album I bought of theirs, which is still my personal favourite Maiden album.
@@ThrashTilDeth83 I'm 44 myself but I work in a gym with many mixed age members. I like to see younger generations appreciate the classic metal bands, which me and a colleague often play in the gym. I've been listening to Kill 'Em All recently and it's hard not to appreciate just how heavy songs like Motorbreath, Whiplash and Metal Militia must've sounded 40 years ago.
Wow, was not expecting this from new material....very very good. Thank you Metallica! if you were to retire tomorrow, I could die a happy man knowing you still write awesome tunes!
Kings of Metal!

The song was published 8 hours ago - and now there's more than 8500 thousand comments. For a band as old as I am - that alone - is a masterpiece. Looking forward to buying the original CD - and hoping it will be made as an old-school CD (first I downloaded the Hard Wired to Self Destruct from... somewhere - then ordered the original CD, so good it was). (Edited - by the way - Atlas, Rise! - which is kinda similar to this song - is a brilliant driving song.) Thanks for being there through the years, Metallica - best of metal luck from Latvia.

I started my Metallica journey in 88 at 8 years old and this was like hearing the opening Death Magnetic song for the first time as I got older after St. Anger. Headbanging and the whole 9. Metallica still kicks major ass.
First album opener with bass. Absolutely lovely, the intro was amazing, the chorus was killer, the harmonies were beautiful as well as James' vocals. And Kirk's solo, despite not being as good as previous solos, is still the best out of the 4 singles so far. What a way to start the day 😎

Back to the Hell Metal... YeaaaaaachHhhh!!!!!
As album opening songs go, this is one of their best! Let's go!
By FAR the best song on this album so far... so happy it's the title track
Agreed. \m/

A new Metallica album is a major milestone in one's life.
Yep, I can pretty much remember every important thing in my life by which album era it happened!
And I’ve been through two!
Да ладно)
I've had 4 apparently (not counting Lulu), barely catching St. Anger.
Still, been a fan since around when Hardwired came out. Still happy they rock.
I've been a fan since And justice for all... wow, that's a lot of milestones (feeling old now 😳)
Amazing Rock🎉🎉🎉🎉
1 year of YEEEAAAHHHH 🤘🎸
Funny story: When James and Rob said “wrath of man,” I thought they said “weather man,” my brother thought “rubber band,” and my dad thought “rather man” 😂
All I can say is, thank you for every song you have given us. They have helped us all in some way. Metal therapy at its best.
I hope these 4 dudes live forever so they can continue to grace the world with their much needed music.
sorry mate, love all of their earlier albums except load and harwired , both crap. death magnetic was good. but this new 72 seasons album is crap and boring. time for them to retire to their mansions and stripper wives now.
they won't but let's just enjoy them while we still can
They have to do a better album next time, this sucks
Well firstly I reckon this album is actually amazing giving credit to the fact they are over 50 years old so be grateful they still make these at that old.
But if they die all we need to do is find the contract for the band and take it over
Soooooo correct
