Thank you for this video! Unfortunately, i'm still having problems with my machine. It stiches the first stich, but then it just doesn't stitch the rest even while it continues sewing, like it just leaves a thread hanging. I tried fixing the tension, rethreading, my needle looks straight, help please!
I am having the toughest time trying to get the screw that holds needle securely to tighten. This is second one I have tried and it just seems like I spend far more time trying to get it to work properly than I have saved by using a machine vs hand.
👋 i purchased exactly same color machine few months back I opened it today and I really don’t know anything about stitching I did exactly how you did but it’s not stitching I mean it’s missing the stitching part The clothe that i used for stitching its coming out empty like with out any stitching on it What should I do
@@Jean78578 thanks so much! Because of your reply I did some digging and I will more than likely need other stitches. I was excited because of the price! Oh well, Back to saving up I guess! 😂 What do you think I would need to work with heavier-weight fabric and multiple stitch styles? Is there anything that would work for under $100? I’ve had the $200 price point in mind and for some reason I’m attracted to Singers. $100 vs $200 would mean I can obtain one in 2 months vs 4 months. I really appreciate your time and I want you to know you’re valued.
I am actually thinking about going with the mini singer 2 I did think about this one for a little bit I'm a beginner he his job really takes a toll on his clothes number one and number two I want to make armchair covers for my love seat I like the 1940s look and the covers will make the love seat last longer thank you again for answering my question I appreciate it
Every time I try to sew it keeps breaking the top thread and I have to re-thread the needle. The stich looks perfect so I don't think the tension is too tight. Any tips how to prevent this?
Hi! Can someone help me? I will start my machine, the needle will go into the fabric once and then stop. It’s a struggle to get it out after that and even turn the knob on the back to lift the needle up.
Maybe I got a dud machine. Thought I was doing something wrong or didn't have something right but after watching numerous videos I have everything right and it just won't do anything 😩

Hello, could you make a video how to fix the tension? Mine popped out and I don't know ow how to fix it.
So the bobbin tension is NOT adjustable? I'm getting serious bottom loops and the bobbin thread seems tighter
No, the bobbin thread is self adjusting. Try tightening the top thread, and ensure the bobbin is inserted correctly.
Can I use one of these to make Fanny packs made from thinner style canvas? Can’t afford the big boys yet but want to learn asap!
I believe it would sew medium-weight fabric. It only does the basic straight stitch.

My favorite full size machine ( bc it's so easy to use) is the brother lightweight model. You may be able to find one in thrift store or Craigslist.
What is the thickest material you can use in this machine please and thank you for your time
I would use it for lightweight or medium-weight material, as it is a mini sewing machine..

I would try loosening tension just a tiny bit.
@@Jean78578 thanks, I'll try that!
This is so helpful. Thank you!!❤

I would try switching out the needle. And, ensure that the thread is shredded properly.
The arm the needle is on, is stuck in the down position. Nothing I do seems to move it.
Mine is doing that too
💯
Is there any way to slow down the machine?
No. It's on/off..
What if my bobbin stitch is loose????
If the bottom stitch is loose try loosening up the top tension a bit. You have to experiment - as the top tension can be tricky..
@@Jean78578 Thank you for responding. I'll try it.

If you are following the instructions, I would return it.
