When you realize Blitz stole one of Veronica's costumes for lovers lookout scene.
Btw, for those who are wondering, Helluva Boss Episode 8 is complete, but cannot be uploaded due to legal reasons. For now, Viv and the Vivziepop crew are trying their best to resolve the case, however, it could take months before the episode can be released.
As a result, Viv is deciding to release Season 2 Episode 1 on July 30th. Viv has stated that Episode 8 has no story implications on Season 2, so I’m guessing that Season 2 might be a prequel. However, if it isn’t, then I guess the only awkward part will be between Stolas and Blitzø, as their story would need to be completed in Episode 8.
Also, Viv is in a major state of mental decline, between the harassments and stress of working on three separate projects. She’s staying off the internet, for the time being, so I wouldn’t be expecting many updates any time soon. Hopefully things go well for her, but it will take some time.
The best that we can hope for is that Helluva Boss Season 1 Episode 8 can be released a bit earlier than expected and that Season 2 Episode 1 can be released on schedule. However, that might even be a bit of a long shot.
Best of luck to Viv, and her crew. The past few months have been brutal, for them.

@@HB-fq9nn They haven’t released anything about it, but copyright is more than likely the reason. Even still, this legal battle will be going on in private, so no updates or reasons will be given until the episode is released.

We get this awesome show totally for free and this beautiful person that Vivzie is is in a terrible place right now because of those jerkoffs, which she clearly doesn't deserve.
I hope Episode 8 comes out one day. Until then, I'll wait and enjoy season 2!

This is the last episode before the series goes into a more story-based format. Although it is considered to be a low point in the show, Episode 4 is still pretty entertaining.
It is more of a worldbuilding episode. But to be quite honest... I find the Cherub episode more entertaining than episode 5. And I can't even name the reasons.
I just realized when she meant "Death of a Human", it was that of an Evil Human as trying to get them into Heavan would not be allowed.

My spinning pin of Deerie with Yeahhhhh and Nooooooo is one of my favorite pins. CHERUB isn't close to my favorite episode but Deerie is absolutely one of my favorite Helluva Boss characters
I really wanted a third faction to come in this episode and basically tell the cherubs "No, this man has done more sins then acts of good will towards humanity. He's going to Hell where he belongs." Someone like the Reaper or one of his soldiers/acolytes. But in the end, the old man got what he deserved.
Funny thing is the events that lead to the guys death is the Cherubs fault. First off they decided to get involved when the guy was going to off himself and due to the IMP got involved. Also the fight was on the imps part since they started it. They pulled weapons first and attacked first. IMP was just defending themselves and doing their job. So really had they not started the fight or just not chosen to try and save someone that doesn't deserve it then they would have been fine.
Also speaking of the not deserving the blessing it was great that the writers made it easy to side with the imps since we knew the guys history and combine that with how he acted and you start to think if CHERUB is like IMP in that they do it but if they get too much attention then they would get in a lot of trouble, with the whole entering the human world illegally to start. Also the fact that they should really research the people to bless and not go with an old man that is full of greed and experiments on the poor.
Does Nate not know that the creator, Vivzipop herself, VOICES THE DEER that tells the CHERUB's that they can't go to heaven? Or did he not notice?

It only occurred to me recently about this episode in particular...
Couldn't Old Lyle still use the de-aging machine to revert himself back to young? I mean, all they had to do was flip the switch to the right setting and then bam, he'd be young and spry to enjoy life like the wolf's asshole on wall street that he is. They didn't say the machine broke or anything like that.
But still that didn't make this a bad episode and it's enjoyable.
Up next the special guest appearance from a member of the walking dead cast. I would say who but for those sad souls who have not helluva boss yet (despite some of these episodes being a year old) I'm not ruining the surprise.
I think vivzie voiced the one cherub. Also I don't get why Lyle didn't reverse the aging. They had great costumes in this episode

To be fair, even though all 3 of them were fighting against Blitz and his employees. The only one who's actions caused the death of the human was Cletus, (even though it was Blitz actions that started the chain of events that led to his death), and not the other 2. So, by all rights those 2 should had been allowed back into Heaven while he was banished.

You know I've watched this episode many times and now it occurs to me, why didn't Lyle simply use the machine to reverse the aging process. I mean it was explained that the machine accelerates or reverses the aging process so there should be no reason for him not to use it revert back to is younger self.
I mean, both of them were locked inside the chamber until the paramedics cracked open that submarine-style hatch from the other side since they were too old and frail to twist the wheel. Who's to say the "de-aging" process wouldn't just keep going and leave them too weak/young to open the hatch? Or maybe "de-aging" would go horribly wrong and turn him into a walking embryo monster like in Singularity? Besides, it's pretty poetic for a inventor to be killed/suffer horribly from their creation, a la Frankenstein or Marie Curie.
This is one of my top five fav Helluva Boss episodes, so thank you guys so much for reacting to it!

In the words of Deerie: yeah, no. I don't think your very Christian view on repentance being the only gateway to heaven, or greed being an inherently worse sin than others, applies to the Helluva Boss universe. To back that up, if you pause this episode during the intro CHERUB song, at the scene where Colin the lamb is doing paperwork, there's a poster in the back that attributes a quote to God which certainly does not align with the Christian view of him 😂
