High school vibes. No one knew what dubstep was back then it was wild. Him Skream, Caspa and Benga will always be the Fore fathers of dubstep, not Skrillex. These legends. The UK knew what was up.
Bang on, my friend. Skrillex, while his old tunes are classics, in my book is responsible for creating the whole brostep bollix that led to the downfall of dubstep and relegated it to being nothing more than backround tracks for shitty tv ads and memes.
i blame Excision and Datsik as much as Skrillex... but in reality, they didnt mean to do this to Dubstep.. they just took the sound that Caspa was doing and went fucking nuts with it and it took on its own thing and the rest is what it is. at least we can still smoke a spliff to these classics. im thankful for dubstep... the good and the bad.
Hell yeah, my all time favorite ! You guys have any suggestions for similar wobbles like this ? Ofc there's Mala, any other great massive wobble producers ?
Of course, this was the first Dubstep song I heard way back in 2007 at the grand old age of 15 and was introduced to me by my then girlfriend... From then on I was hooked and it was the conduit to introduce me to a wide range of music that I listen to today.
J J in 07 I was in 7th grade, about 10-11 yrs also 😂 I found this gem in college around 2012/2013 lucky for me I got to enjoy the electronic phase with some good ol College parties, tripping with friends (shrooms, acid, dmt), all nighters on the campus....fun fucking times 😉

90's is a big exaggeration, find me a dubstep release from the 90's then? People always want to sound like they know so much more than everyone else! Rusko gave me this before it was released it was well into 2007 maybe 2008 so don't try it bludd!
Bruh, I saw him in Belden Town CA, the small mountain/hills festival emissions. A few years back after the sickness he went through. He absolutely killed it with the old school and new new. OG didn't disappoint.
Duuude damn that must've been epic.. fabric live 37 is THE essential dubstep mix lol. Like seeing Daft Punk Alive 2007. So lucky! Glad you got to witness history fren!!

It went from Burial to Skrollex real fast... Skrillex fucked up the whole scene.

Fabriclive 37 is what really put dubstep on the map globally, i think. so yeah - you are correct, sir.
Still one of the best dubstep songs ever made.
All hail one of the OGs of dubstep.
Heard this at a show last night and it brought back so many memories ❤️ had to come back and listen again!
This is one of the few tracks I HAVE TO click on and listen to whenever it pops up in my recommended videos.
The simplicity is what makes me love this track
1963 and still getting down to this

Listening to this song again after 15 years and I can instantly smell the harsh earthy pang of mountains of Mkat. Glory days.
I rinsed this track at a show a couple nights ago .... can confirm it holds up
For all eternity this track will get anyone with a soul to bop with it, sway with it and just want to melt into the bass bins....my god!
The cancer cells stood no chance against his wobbles, Congratulations Rusko
fat bass destroys everything, even cancer cells
That cleared my brain cancer
Too good
Yep agreed
if your still here like me ... then you fucking in now. 💪👊👊👊
This is probably my first dupstep song I experienced. This or Woo Boost, a 16 year old driving in my mother's mini van.. Lol damn time flies..
The sample used in this one is "Kunta Kinte" by The Revolutionaries, if some1 is wondering. Big up and bless.

Dubstep when it was born , DOMINATING everything around . SICK
it was so fucking good at that time.
LoL?! Dubstep was born in the 90's mate, you just never heard of it before the late 2000's because it had stayed underground.
