that man is the perfect WR for any QB in any era. Catch radius, speed, strength, patience, hops, grit, etc. Need him to high point a ball like 15ft in the air when surrounded by defenders waiting to cut him in half? he's got you. blocking? sure. paycut for the team? yup! Need 1k yards on like 100 targets? no problem. need to feed other diva receivers who are 1v1 or unguarded? it's gonna happen alot so yea it's cool.
Mike Evans with his current resume is borderline 1st ballot Hall of Famer... 3 more solid years and he is in the Marvin Harrison and Larry Fitz convo
Mike Evans is first ballot no question. If Megatron is then he is.
and he surpassed megatrons stats. Mike only 30 and if he can get another 3500 yards (which if he stays healthy and keeps putting up monster seasons he will be top 5 of all time in receiving yards. Mike already is number 27 of all time touchdowns too.
Mike Evans has 25 more TD's than Andre Johnson and counting...with 4LESS YEARS PLAYED....I love Andre Johnson but this is blasphemous...Everybody loved Davante Adams...Mike Evans has 1k more yards and the same TD's with less targets and Adams had AARON ROGERS FOR 8 YEARS...
If Andre is getting recognition for the Hall and Mike has better numbers. Plus still playing why wouldn't Mike Evans make the Hall?
i could see mike evans playing a few more years and if those years are anything like what we've already seen from him then this won't even be up for debate.
The BIGGEST reason tb12 didn’t have more success is SOLELY bc he didn’t throw it to 13 more...
A lot of people in these comments that clearly have a very shallow understanding of Mike Evans and his career.
I’m a bears fan to the core…but if you ask me the one word that connects to be is consistency
The disresepsct to Frank Gore, as if Frank Gore is not a future HoFer
This all depends how long he plays and what he does. Lets say he has 2 more 1000 yard seadons in a row. And 10 touchdowns each year and 1200 yards each year. Lets day 1 more probowl. These are not unrealistic. His stats would be 12 straight 1000 yard seasons an nfl record. He would have over 14000 which would be about 11th all time yards recieving, he would have 114 touchdowns. Which would put him 8th. He would have 2 2nd team all pro and 6 probowls. Also he has a championship. If he plays both years with Tampa. He did it all with 1 team and dont kid yourself that matters. But the other thing is he has been healthy his whole career like Larry Fitzgerald. Larry played 17 years. So if mike plays 7 more years and get 500 yards with 5 tds each year he will be over 16000 yards and around 125 or more touchdowns. Stats really matter and so does longevity. He will be first ballet in my opinion
Mike can legit retire top 5 in yards and tds with about 4 more 1k seasons
This guy Sam clearly hasn’t looked at Evans stats compared to the top 20 all time WRs statistically. Evans is on hall of fame pace regardless of who his QB was. Evans will have more touchdowns than Tim Brown and could reach 15,000 receiving yards if he decides to play that long. Evans plays for the buccaneers, he doesn’t talk a lot, and it doesn’t always look flashy or pretty. The numbers don’t lie and people need to analyze the pace he is on before speaking.
Yes and Yes
Frank Gore should be in the hall of fame. There are people in hof with like less than 8k career rushing yards.
The way I see it longevity is important and can get you into the Hall of Fame but the most important thing imo is how dominant you were at the height of your career.
Mike Evans is a Hall of Famer but 10 straight 1000 yards seasons isn't more impressive than Julio averaging over 100 yards/game from 2013-2019.
Stop lol julio cant stay healthy jones 😂😂😂😂
@@jwill5033 im a huge mike evans fan but don't disrespect julio. He is a physical receiver and hes 35 years old of course hes been getting hurt.
Lmfao he's absolutely 1st ballot hall of fame not even a debate
Just facts: Evans is RIGHT NOW, Top 30 (All TIME) in TD's. INCLUDING TE's and RB's. TODAY, he's Top 30 in Yards (All Time). TODAY, he's a HoF'er. That's IF he played another game! By the end of his career...let's say 3 more years...BARING INJURY, he's gonna be around the 15k, 100+ TD area. Don't over-think this. There are WR's with FAR WORSE stats than Evans. John Stallworth...give me a break. He wasn't even the best WR on HIS OWN TEAM! He made it in because ALL of the 70's Steelers made it in!
hes already at 95 touchdowns he most likely will have 120-130 tds by the end of his career and could easily get another 3500 yards in 3-4 years if he stays healthy cause he is still in his prime
Should of been taking bout him
I hate Mike Evans but hes one of the best of all time.
Evans definitely belongs in the Hall...of Very Good for a Long Time.
Dude is criminally under-rated. He's getting a bust
How many of these pff guys were high level athletes i mean pros not college. The way they down play what it takes and the work guys need to put in to be elite is wild annoying.
Mike Evans is a legit HOF WR. Just not first ballot.
He hasn’t even retired yet. He’ll play another 2-3 yrs at least
He's absolutely a 1st ballot hall of fame and he's not done he can easily finish his career with 17,000 receiving yards
Torry Holt is still waiting, unless you're the undisputed best of your era, you're not likely getting in first ballot.@@glennallen6663
Crazy he def is the bowl seals it he is constant and longivity comes in play also
1 2nd team all-pro no 1st team all-pros, never led the league in yards, catches & maybe once in TDs. Idk tbh. So I’d lean no.
He's consistently unremarkable every year. Lol. That's not Hall of Fame worthy imo.. at least not First Ballot.
You on drugs, buddy, if you believe that
@@Dre.2397 most people are on drugs then
What’s funny about people like you is that you think reaching 1,000 yards every year is easy. Yet Evans is the only player in NFL history to have 10 straight 1,000 yard seasons since starting his rookie season. The great Jerry Rice was short of reaching 1,000 as a rookie. Only Randy Moss and Jerry Rice have 10+, 1,000 yard receiving seasons. So it’s not easy or else every WR should do it. The best ability is availability and Evans shows up every Sunday and isn’t a diva sitting out games.
@@Cali_Bucs would you take Mike Evans over Randy Moss or Jerry Rice? Sit down kid
@@AlphariusDominatus the point was Evans being a hall of famer.
