If I want to say end or close live 생방송 끄다 or 끊다
생방송을 끄다 is correct.
끄다 turn off
끊다 quit (smoking, driking, sugar ...)

Do you mean 'Bye' when you hang up the phone call?
In that case, the verb '끊다' is used, which sounds similar with 끄다.
➡️e.g.) Polite
A: 끊어요.[끄너요]
Bye.(Lit. I will hang up the phone.)
B: 네.
Bye.
➡️e.g.) Casual/Nonpolite
A: 끊어. [끄너]
