Glottic Carcinoma pre and after Direct Laryngoscopy

  • An old male, 80 years old, complaining of stridor and hoarseness, presented with this mass.
    On DL, subglottic extension was seen (+glottic and anterior commissure + sluggish VC movement with no clinical LNs).
    Most of the mass occupying the airway causing stridor was resected by clod instruments and was proved to be squamous cell carcinoma.
    The patient was referred for radiotherapy.
