I HAVE to say, I just came from part 2 and I've never found anyone I have related to more in terms of body type and what we are looking for in bottoms. I have a long torso too, and I am always in search of bottoms that have a high enough rise, snatch in the waist, and have a wider leg fit. When you said that you are looking for a pair of jean shorts that fit like your Anine Bing shorts, I was like YES, I have been searching for that same fit! Subscribing to follow along not only your clothing journey but your awesome personality!!

I hear you on being annoyed that things don’t fit well anymore. I have been going through early menopause for the last many years and I swear that all of my weight shifts around seasonally even though I stay about the same poundage. I probably need to try on all of my shirts before it gets really hot out to make sure they fit!
I totally feel this. I had my last baby in 2020 and over the pandemic and being busy with baby raising, I gained weight. Now I feel like I have “pandemic blindness” in the sense that I can’t tell what size I am anymore when shopping. Despite trying things on and knowing my measurements, I still either buy things too small or wayyyy too big. Good luck when trying on your clothes and be easy on yourself!

I've really been loving this series lately! I see so much of myself in you lol. We must be about the same age and my clothing style is very similar to yours. You're really helping me get rid of clothing that doesn't fit my thighs anymore, because I as well gained some weight JUST on my thighs in the last year 🙈

Zimmermann makes a lot of A-line shaped shorts, including denim.(expensive unfortunately😢)Maybe you can snag some second-hand online or find a dipe. Denim shorts are ROUGH!!! It's so hard to find comfortable and ones with a nice shape.
