- George Washington and the Battle of Germantown
Presented by Michael C. Harris
This lecture was recorded as part of Fraunces Tavern Museum's Evening Lecture Series on October 14, 2021.
In this lecture, Michael Harris will discuss the Battle of Germantown. Despite a complicated plan of attack, George Washington’s Continental Army seemed on the verge of victory at Germantown, until decisions at the highest levels of the army took that promised victory away.

Great job
Thank You
Outstanding video
Great video.
Bought two of the author's books on the strength of it.
great analysis! Thanks! I grew up on part of the battlefield so I know the area very well. BTW it is pronounced Cliv-eh-den, 3 syllables. Knox ruined this battle, pushing a strategic concept during a tactical battle. Washington never should have listened to him. 1st Half US 21-0, Final score British 42-21.
My sentiments exactly.
