We will work through building a cloud-native batch process using Spring's stack including Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Task, and other cloud tools as well as dive into what makes developing batch processes on kubernetes both attractive as well as easy!

    Hi, great video.. I have one question that at the end of server logs - I could see one info - "hikari pool connection shutdown ".. How we can avoid that and what is the reason behind it.. M also deploying my spring batch to openshift and getting deployment failed because of that...searched a lot...Any help is appreciable...

      I guess, that you need to set timeout configs for the pool.

    But having a small job as a separate application might be resource inefficient because even a trivial job will consume a significant amount of memory in your cluster.
