The new News at 1 reminds me of "Mittagsmagazin," a program jointly produced by German broadcasters ARD and ZDF. However, ARD and ZDF still allocate 10 minutes for a regular news program before the magazine-style TV program begins, and they still have another 10-minute regular news program after it ends.
1:45 the trundle cam’s zoom-in kinda reminds me of how 2020-2022 News At Ten titles had an outdoor camera zooming in to NBH. Now, this programme is the only national news bulletin to have a newsroom shot (since this studio is open concept unlike NBH Studio B) Also, this is the only national news bulletin to have the date displayed on one of the screens which are shown during the intro sequence. This date has only been observed on some regional programmes and probably Breakfast itself which uses this studio. Kinda wanna see what timeslots Jane Hill will present since she is not included in NAO’s move to Salford. My guess is probably NAS and NAT as a relief presenter, and weekend news. Question - did the regional news only come out at 2 pm since it is said that NAO has been extended to 1 hour? Is there a guideline as to what kind of news stories they present at each timing during that hour?
All very dull and boring, didn’t need an hour broadcast, and had strange studio cameras than panned in, as bad as World News America, they should change that jingle package, as now outdated.

They are still human controlled cameras. Not robotic in any means.
