Never thought I'd ship Jason and Barbara. The voice actors are amazing, not one dropped the ball and the story is an excellent study of trauma.

Unfortunately Hamill stated since Kevin Conroy's passing he wouldn't do joker anymore his last performance is the killing Joke animated movie 😢

The Criminal sounded like Mark Hamill as he sounds now, the Comedian sounds like Hamill when he was younger, and the Clown sounds like Troy Baker.
And then there's Batman, who sounds like Josh Brolin.

Joker might've screwed himself on this one. He wants to be all that matters to Batman, but he more or less removed Bruce's anger/drive to be Batman. I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but you don't see Bruce suit up for the rest of the story after talking with the Joker. His image of Joe Chill has changed, so he might not have the desire to be Batman anymore 🤔
i wouldn’t say that , they’re still criminals out there and joker is bound to escape arkham once again lol. it wasn’t just about Joe Chill. Bruce wants to clean the streets up so there wouldnt be anymore Joe Chills or that nobody would have to go thru what he went thru

Im like 20 minutes in and I love the idea that the Joker’s skin, smile and lack of way to identify him actually make some sense with the chemicals burning fingerprints, corrupting DNA tests and nerve damage

I firmly believe that this story will age better over time and Batman fans will appreciate it more, cuz it’s that good.
This was some of the best voice acting I’ve seen in a comic dub, you guys should proud bringing this story to life through those amazing performances & editing.
Great dub, man. Combined with the good timing of usage of background music, this is a benchmark signifying the inspiration for the art of dub and fundamental theatrical music. I don't think I can have the same quality of experience by only reading the comic, although I believe the story arc itself is a solid piece of work in terms of storytelling. Very well done.
Duuude, the voices are so Mark, like The Criminal sounded like Arkham Games Mark, The Comedian sounded like The Killing Joke Mark, and the Clown sounded like a mix of BTAS Mark and the 70's animated era Joker voiced by Larry Storch and Lennie Weinrib
Jason is there just to make Barbara look fierce, unstoppable and much better than him in every sense.

Dude sacrifices a lot for the people of gotham and yet somehow I feel like those scars we see him carry in the first couple panels are still nothing compared to the scars up in his head.

I had never read this comic. Didn't really even know of it til recently. So, the best compliment I can possibly give you is this...after seeing this dub, in one sitting, like a movie, and crying at the end, just loving it, I IMMEDIATELY ordered a hardbound edition of the graphic novel. I HAD to own it. But, it may pale to your outstanding edit. Bravo! Great work! I am hooked!

I really enjoyed this. I bought and read the comics you pulled from. I read my Joker voice very similarly. You definitely pulled from Mark Hamill, the Animated Batman series/ Arkham Games Joker voice. Which I love. Luke Skywalker is THE VOICE of The Joker, no matter what you try to say. This was a great job and I wish I was apart of it

The actors who played three of the Jokers really give's me Mark Hamill vibes.
So many battle scars, so many stories to tell.
This channel is wonderful it brings life to the world I wish I belonged too my niece has called me uncle joker since she could speak and I love the story of the red hood and the batman and the joker (the hood the bat the clown ) a story of tragedy chaos and strength and the ability to rise again from being broken DC has brought life to my own pain and I love this channel
i forgot to mention the overall dub is fantastic...the SX and how you laid out the panels was really well done...the voice actors did great except the black warden which was a very odd choice...
im a huge fan of the russian comicbook geek and imo you are his closest comparable peer... tbh, i do like his style a bit more but your style is 2nd only to him.
