Imagine if Hope bumped into Maya, where she explains two things (1: That she wasn't really poor, her family was actually rich, and the reason why she dressed that way was because she wanted people to be friends with her, and not just her money. 2: The reason she left was because her dad changed offices, but it didn't really work out, that is why she moved back.) She helps Hope be a better person. They even caught both Kendra and Sophie, who were defacing the school and were about to blame it on Jake, which got them both suspended from school. As for Hope relationship with her mom. She would say that the reason she distanced herself from her was because she felt like she didn't love or care about her. Where Hope's mom apologized for how she treated her and told her that she's taking time off work to make up for lost time.

I loved this story Miss Albert really reminds me of Miss Honey from Matilda! I loved how Hope realized her mistakes and apologized to Jake, the next step is to make up to her mother. Its sad we didn't hear about Maya again.
