- Fairly challenging run. Wanted to blitz through this run but surviving through Floor 1 is the biggest hurdle here obviously, and it's nearly not feasible without solid EGO Gifts so the usual Poise Gifts lineup weren't adequate. Even so, he's still a monster clasher and damage dealer without Clear Mirror Calm Water. Here's hoping we get a Poise EGO soon for him.

Poised gives him coin power when he has lots of poise count, which lets Flank Thrust roll... 23.
If you have Lucky Pouch... the Coin Power can go up to 9, so Flank Thrust can roll 35, higher than Self-destructive Purge while being more consistent than it.

This run really wanted to give you rupture gifts, why take lowest star over standard battery and why keep it?
Honestly, I just like that gift more 😅. The SP chip damage on Pride/Blunt skills helped me out a lot on previous runs. Bonus damage when below 0 SP is really good also and useful when Corroded so I kept it just in case.

Question about spending starlight
The moment you select what buffs you want, is it fully spend or is it only spend the moment you start the dungeon?
If you're referring to the Wish Of Stars starter buffs, Starlight used on them is only spent if you claim rewards after completing/forfeiting a run. You can essentially reactivate them as much as you want that way as long as you have enough Starlight.
@@kizaaam15 Soo cant just re-use the 500 starlight buff till i gain the T4 ego gift by forfeiting the run when selecting sinners right?
@@VintageJigmac yeah you can. Rerolling for Gifts won't consume Starlight if you're resetting a run before it starts.
Why did you turn down Dust To Dust in the F3 gift selection?
You had Glimpse of Flames and were spamming 4MF
Not worth the enemy buff, stacking too much HP would've made the run a slogfest. There wasn't any way of applying additional Burn Count anyways so Glimpse Of Flames would essentially proc only on the first turn.
Why do you sometimes use a counter attack in a chain that won't even work if you can use a regular skill and cause damage? (Sorry for my English).
Mostly to deal unopposed attacks without Clashing. It's also useful for dealing damage in case you lose a Clash, and stalling turns to fuel resources with Blue Zippo Lighter or similar Gifts.
@@kizaaam15 Understood. It’s just that sometimes in your dungeon runs, in a battle when all the opponents are stunned and you have no gifts to generate resources, you still put evasion/counter attack/defense in the entire chain, skipping a turn. That's why I wanted to ask. (Sorry for my English).
Why did you not choose just poised start
There's just not enough survivability for Floor 1 with that. Healing is non existent since he can't fuel any of Gregor's Healing Support passives + he's pretty squishy.
