I am a Christian because I believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news, because I am a sinner that is in need of a Saviour, I choose life because to live is Christ. 🌱

Scary, yes, but it's not true. You don't, and can't know. Nobody can. The fear that has you paralyzed into this dogma is a vice. Any "god" that is jealous (a human emotion of insecurity), and vengeful (another petty human emotion), is not a "god" at all, but a human-made fear tactic used to control a people groups willing to believe it, but too fearful to see the truth that none of it is actually verifiably real. I wish you freedom from the control.

That is the confusion of some in protestantism. They THINK they are saved - everyone who knows them THINKS that they are saved - then they fall away and it is believed that they were never saved to begin with. So despite the claim, one can really never know if one is saved, or not.
*God's Written Word:* _But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. _*_I do not even judge myself. 4 I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me._*_ 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God._ (1 Cor 4:4)

Ad hominem attacks don't work. I could do the same quite easily ... preaching a new Gospel as scripture warns of (Gal 1:8) unheard of in Christianity for nearly 2000 years (the work of the evil one). Better to offer an apologetic to my original post. What is said ... was 100% true:
*That is the confusion of some in protestantism. They THINK they are saved - everyone who knows them THINKS that they are saved - then they fall away and it is believed that they were never saved to begin with. So despite the claim, one can really never know if one is saved, or not.*
So in your fallible interpretation of scripture, St Paul himself had it ALL wrong !

@@thegoodsoilsharvest I believe 1 Jn 5: 13. Yet, scripture is clear that one can fall away, thru their own free will, and lose the gift of everlasting life. That is the whole point of the parable of the vine. A branch, attached to Jesus Christ, is 100% saved! Yet, a branch can be cut off, bundled and thrown into the fire. One does so by remaining unrepentant of serious sin. And God out love, lets one thru free will, walk away.

I am a Christians because Jesus finished work on the cross saves us from hell. Second Corinthians 5:21 For He who knew no sin, became sin for us, so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that HE was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
Galatians 1:6-9 Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that we have preached unto you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received from us, LET HIM BE ACCURSED.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The great commission. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus died for sinners. Romans 3:23. John 3:18. Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.

Forgot Isaiah 45:7 - God created evil... Deut. 22 and 28 (to name just 2 of many cruel chapters of evil shown by this "god" and its people)... Luke 14:26 - Hate your wife, mother, father, children...family (spoken by "Jesus").... Ezekiel 14:9 - God lies.... There's so many more. However, you can look up apologetics which are highly paid by these money machines called churches, to figure out ways to "justify" these things, but in truth, there's no justifying all the issues concerning "god(s)" of the Bible and the countless errors in the human-made bible writings. Didn't even touch on slavery and sexism in the Bible.
