Did you guys know that in Colombia (caribbean coast) we listen daily this song, it makes part of our culture. We don't know what it says but we just love the beat and dance it a lot. I hope one day you can come to Colombia and realize how important african music is for us in Barranquilla and Cartagena. Back in the 60's and 70's music arrived on the boat crossing the Atlantic ocean. And it became and exchange of vinils and we received tons and tons of african music and our parenta and my generation grew up listening for those songs

This feedback is great. Music is universal. It transcends race, age and cadre. And DRC in Africa has contributed a great deal to the export of African music to the world throughout its generations.

Whenever I am Ingo in the village, the sign that I have arrived is when Verkys' sound blazes through the Dolby Surround. Or when I am out jogging or for a walk, it is Verkys that adds a spring in my step. Even if it is not Verkys, most of the good music we listen to is that played and composed by musicians (e.g. Nyboma) who went through the hands and factory of Verkys.
