This is such a beautiful tender version of this song, and it was so moving to be amongst the audience singing along beautifully to the chorus. I love how Ben performs new versions of his older songs, keeping them alive and fresh. Ben continues to blow me away.
As much as I love Ben and his melancholic material, I was (and still am) so mad that he doesn't play I forget where we were in its original version. The song on the album and in older performances has so much power and emotion to it... Such a shame. Still, his concerts are fantastic (I was in Prague)
This is pretty powerful! I understand what your saying though. The original HHS’s more power, but this has more real emotion to it. They’re both amazing.
