- The colors are so rich! This is a big result from a small blow dryer. I had to try it, and thanks to Tammy Anderson, I was able to locate one. Using the small blow dryer was different but it fits my hand better than my big one. I am very pleased with the way this turned out, although it wasn’t the easiest piece I have done. I had to tweak it a lot to get a result I liked.
I hope you enjoyed this video. All my videos are made because I love to paint. I try to paint almost everyday. I like to try new techniques, paints and products. I hope that I can help someone, inspire someone or just have someone watch because they love to paint too. Some paintings turn out better than others but the journey is the amazing part.

Belle palette des couleurs
Merci!
Yes I love the colors! Beautiful
Prettiest colors ever! ❤
Thank you Donna!
This came out so beautiful. I have such a hard time with blowouts. I don't think I can get the consistency of the paint correct or I just panic when I'm doing it. But I do not give up and I will continue to try and till I get it right. You are extremely lovely and I appreciate all of the teaching teaching you do for all of us. God bless you. Keep creating your magic. 💙
Thank you so much Rae. Consistency is tricky, so hang in there. You will get there!
I just adore this artwork! Wow!! Looks like Kale leaves...it is superb

Beautiful 🦋🦋🦋🦋
Thank you!
I love this Dutch pour. I’m going to try and copy the layout/composition as I have some big square canvasses to use
Thank you so much.
Beautiful colors and composition… When you blowout the flows do you use the hairdryer on low or high? Thanks
Beautiful job!
Thank you so much 😀
New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa 💖I pray that this day finds you blessed and paint splattered
Hello Roberta! Your reply made me laugh so thank you. I don't think I have ever had anyone say may your day be paint splattered but I LOVE IT! You too have a blessed day!
@@LauraMcCartyArt well it just seems to me that anyone in this art ,seem to be truly happy ,when painting and paint splattered lol 😆
Bellissimo 🙋♀️

BEAUTIFUL . I AM A NEW SUBSCRIBER AS WELL . THIS IS JUST BEAUTIFUL LAURA , GREAT JOB !!!!!!!! HAPPY POURING TO YOU . LOVE THE COLOR PALETTE TOO .
Margueritte, thank you for such encouraging words. I really appreciate your support. Happy pouring to you too!
Oops, one to many “t”s. Sorry about that.
Awesome!I love color combination💖what the speed you are using ?
Thank you. I am on low speed. High speed tends to splatter the paint. It’s a powerful little guy.
Beautiful! Love the blow dryer! Can you please repeat the name of the second and the last color the color and the brand that you’re using in this tutorial please thank you
Thank you so much April. I went into the description and updated each paint color with the brand in the order I used them in the painting. I should have done this on the front end, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I hope this helps.
Which hairdryer do you use?
I use a small hair dryer called Flower. It is from the Drew Barrymore line.
What is the name of that small blow dryer?
Hi Deborah. It is called a Flower. I have it linked in my Amazon shop in the description. I love it!!!!!
@@LauraMcCartyArt Thank you! I do have that one! I love it too! I didn’t know if you were using a different one. Thank you!!
Why do you (like so many) just paint with the dryer… vs flooding around the paint colors (line, puddle, chaos etc) and blowing over in a traditional Dutch pour tech? It seems to be a much more organic composition that way.. not criticizing.. simply curious?
Hi Cher. Thank you for the question. I do it both ways. In my opinion, when you blow the colors with the dryer, (not the base coat over the colors) the colors don’t mix as much with the base coat. I just depends on the look you are going for. I like both ways. I just released a video this morning called “Bloomin’ Awesome” where I blew the base coat over the paint.
Pretty colors but very awkward composition.
Thanks. It is a very different composition, one that I will probably not do again but I have to try new things.
