CLG fan since near their inception. Went to IPL 4 in 2012 to watch y'all in the finals against TSM, my buddy even got you each to sign his poster, he was absolutely thrilled. Appreciate you sharing some of the stories from the (not so glorious) glory days. You're my little sister's favorite player to this day, LCS will never be the same without you.

It's called "the hot seat" it's a really powerul tool to get feedback and jump over a hurdle in a team environment. The problem is that requires true team players and everyone to be comfortable with being vulnerable, can take harsh criticism and it requires alot of expectation setting and 100% opt in. Shit hurts bad but if you've got the right team around, after all the tears and reflection, people gel together smooth as silk.

its a technique that never works and is often discouraged. There is an iteration of it that exists where you first begin with positives then create goals based on critiques, but just shitting on each other for 2 hours, not ever an effective thing to do.

Imo that would be a lot more helpful but then again I don't think it's possible to do with young players who barely have any social skills. Bang has mentioned that in NA they do the very opposite where you can't even give any negative feedback in NA. Looks like NA does both the extremes.

Babcock was literally fired when that story came out. Crazy to me what kind of stuff these LoL players go through- especially in the early seasons!

Ask Tyler, cause he played football (I think) but football coaches I think do it and I know soccer and basketball coaches do. You hate them until they're unconscious on the ground, then you circle up to pray cause you don't want anyone to actually die, then once he's carted off to be buried, you seethe over how much you hate the other team again.
