I used to eat out I used to tip my waiter or waitress if I needed time to order my waitress or waiter would give me time. I would tip my server like 20% same goes when I order pizza

It's seems that her salon appointment is more important than tipping the waitress it's not the waitress fault that she is running late for her appointment
1:01 "and make it quick. I have a hair appointment in one hour." Funny how they're supposedly in a rush, yet they have time to stop to eat and expect the place to make them their top priority. Like, lady, you're not the only person in the restaurant. There are so many other people I have to take care of.
No one should have to accept being disrespected especially if they have done nothing wrong. That woman is like customers of all kind. I never mistreat people; I especially don’t get rude with people handling my food or drinks. The owner did exactly what one should to protect their employees. Great message, Supermission!

I used to eat out a lot and whoever my waitress or waiter was I paid the bill and I left a generous tip the most I tipped was 10.00 I loved the food and always have the restaurant a good review

This is exactly why the whole "the "customer is always right" policy shouldn't even exist
If I was *"Andrea",* and a customer treated me or one of my waitresses rudely, I would've told her to leave and not return. If she protests and says something like *"You can't be serious!",* etc. I would've said *"Bye Felicia! Don't let the door hit you on the way out!"*

Having worked in the restaurant business it has always boggled my mind how someone can sit at an obviously dirty table (with clean ones nearby) and DEMAND that it be cleaned

I worked at a store many years ago. And that "customer is always right" thing was followed to the endth. Even if the customer didn't have a return slip, the store would still take the merchandise back no matter how long it was actually used! The big shots were so worried about losing a customer all we really ended up with was a bunch of underhanded thieves. No wonder the place went under.
I’m surprised when the waitress cleared the table the customer didn’t complain that the table wasn’t cleaned.
That was a great video. I wish more restaurant managers would stick up for their staff.

After retiring from the Navy, my first job was at a pizza shop. I make sure my wife and I always tip waitress or waiter. They do work hard. What a rude lady!

First of all. The restaurant was empty and she had to sit at the 1 dirty table and demand it to be clean. And if you have a hair appointment in an hour. Why are you going to a restaurant and demand that she hurries up you could have left the house earlier. It's not the waitress fault that you can't manage your time

Yeah it’s her own fault she was rude to the waitress. The waitress didn’t tell her to come to the restaurant before her hair appointment. She wouldn’t be threatening anyone if she just came to the restaurant earlier or after her appointment.

I don’t understand why they behaving like tipping is mandatory….. it should be a choice….. many people strive to pay the bill for the food they ordered , which definitely includes all types of service taxes and why should anyone pay an new extra service bill?
And waitress job is not easy?? Writing down orders and getting the food prepared by the chef working in front of fire (which is actually hard) is so hard??

I've seen videos of waiters and waitresses being rude to the customer because of their looks, but, yes, the customer can be rude too.

No one has the right to treat every people in general with disrespectful words, actions, and behaviors. She thinks she is richer than everyone, but not true. Money isn't about being rich, it is about attitudes, characters, education, and values. Not money. Being rich and popular is not about what you have, it is about who you are on the inside. Be grateful, calm, happy, patient, kind, and humble. Not having a sense of entitlement.

The guest maybe important in certain circles but she needs to be respectful to the waitress, who is doing the best of her ability. Stiffing the staff is wrong, she will be banned from the restaurant altogether!!
I would have asked any waitress nicely to clean up tables instead of saying clean 🧼 it at once in a demanding tone. Waiters and waitresses are people too, not specks or Cinderella. Even Cinderella got treated a little bit better than the waitress in this video

She got promoted for keeping her cool. MANY people would have cussed the Customer out, but she kept her cool which is important in a manager position. Besides Andrea pointed out she was a good Employee. 😀
That’s a strange way of handling things, but she did a better job than I could if I was in that situation.
"Karens" have become a stock character in fiction have they not? Wikipedia has a list of types of fictional stock characters and Karens need to be added.

I’m a very sweet and friendly person when going to a restaurant. Only one time a little bit over 30 years ago I went with my father to this one restaurant that I used to go. We both liked to sit inside. The hostess was so rude and wanted us to sit outside. The waitress was sweet and friendly towards us. I should have tell her the customer is the boss and always right. I should have tell her off for being so rude to us. Even my father agreed with me. I did felt with rude customers when I used to worked at this one grocery store. One time that I told this lady that we don’t have a lot of decorating stuff for cakes just liked the big grocery stores have. She didn’t even believed me. She was a rude Bitch!! I was crying shortly after. Even this one local customer didn’t believed that the deli was out of sandwich style Swiss cheese. I came back with nothing.

Let me assure you that if you are this rude to a member of my staff I'll call security, have you escorted out of the building and ban you for life. All my staff members are encouraged to carry a bodycam to record such things. If I had such a restaurant I would put up the video footage on social media saying why we had to ban such a person. A lot of this can be prevented by getting customers to pay first and by putting up a notice saying if you behave in such a way you'll be escorted out with no refund.

I can't believe you call her a good manager. If she was a good manager, she would pay her workers so they didn't have to depend on tips. I come from a country where tiping is not expected and given only when you are very satisfied with the service. Waitreses get paid enough to live decent life.

It happens more often that you think. I highly doubt that an owner or manger would tolerate this. I had to defend a waitress. The customer was rude and told the manager that her waitress was rude. After she left I told the mgr. that I witnessed the incident and it was the customer who was rude.

This is for all those out there who treat serves like garbage .. when you're rude and disrespectful to your server don't expect not to find spit or piss in your drinks. That burger you ordered has been dropped on the floor after it's been cooked, that steak could have been stepped on maybe even sneezed along with that salad. Remember that movie from the 90s American Pie ... well when you're nasty to your server your pie gets fingered after it's been picking through the trash can. First rule to remember when dinning out .. your server is that person to handle your meal before you get it. Get It !!
