- In this episode I will show you how to easily level both your Fishing and Cooking skills together from 1 to 300. It is possible for you to do this by level 35, and doing so will help you get the gold you need for your level 40 mount. If leveling to 60 as fast as possible is your goal then I wouldn't suggest doing that.
There are many ways to level both of these secondary skills to 300, but I have found this to be the easiest way to do it for myself and now I want to share it with you. 2:59 110- 175 ( Keep enough fish for when you hit 150, to go to 175)

This video sucks. it's way too convoluted and both sections are irrelevant to each other, meaning the trainers for each section should be first then where to fish should be second where to cook should be 3rd... I am not watching an entire video to locate where a fishing trainer to teach me 150-225.

Very nice video and very helpful but some not much people who playing not in classic but in MoP or WoD or legion and so on some places dont even exist in there for example the fisherman in tanaris that u must buy the 3 recipes and so on... anyway keep it up !!

Getting the Big Iron Fishing Pole was the only painful thing in this amazing guide
I spent three hours farming to find out you can just buy them on the AH. Check the neutral AH's if you're alliance, as horde have an easier time farming, so they may be cheaper.

Late to the party but WOW I'm impressed best fishing/cooking guide I have seen. Though I do have one question: What is the recommended level for each step of this guide. ie maybe wait till ( Blank LVL ) before going to south shore? I would really appreciate the guidance there as well.
DevraDare if you want to level both Professions together as you level I suggest doing it as early as possible which is what I always do for monetary reasons. That looks like:
Level 5 - (1-75)
Lvl 10 - (76-150)
Lvl 20 - (151-225)
Lvl 35 - (226-300)

Pro tip: You can start fishing stonescale eels around 225 I believe. Get engineering on your pally or warrior, have him make bait, use the bait to fish stonescale. Eels are main ingredient in Titans?? potion I think, forgot the name, it grants 2000 armor for 30 seconds, is a must have for your Molten Core MT, or any other undergeared tank, in those "oh shit I'm about to die" moments. They sell extremely well on AH, due to difficulty of fishing them and high demand. Pulled an epic mount from selling Stonescale Eels, then finished my 300 fishing later ;)

Great guild, man! Though it's easier to get the Catfish recipe in Redridge, and just fish/cook them there. No need to go to Southshore.
A great deal of gold can be made by purchasing those books and place them on AH. They're timed spawns and usually limited, at least they were back in 2004 ish. I remember I had to camp by the NPC for hours, before I could find some of the books.

MeisterWind From what I am seeing the Big Iron Fishing Pole is in Classic, but you’re also not the first to report that they’re not finding it after trying for more than an hour. Hopefully I get to the appropriate level soon to see for myself.
No Whitescale Salmon in Moonglade is quite shocking. You should have got at least a stack or two.

Just got word that it is in fact in Classic. Keep trying to get it.
I can confirm that you can still swim to Moonglade via Darkshore in Wow Classic. Pick up the Darkshore flight path beforehand and get the flight master in Moonglade once you spawn in the Moonglade graveyard so you can fly from Darkshore to Moonglade in the future.
Flight path can only be used by druid Npc won't talk to me as a mage.
aditional info about the alterac swiss ..with tbc classic running you can also purchase them in caverns of time .. befor you enter the great hall down below on the left side the orc will sell them to you so no need to leave tanaris for this quest

Christopher Reilly, Fishing is only 100% skill up until about 70 or 80. That’s when you start to see skill ups slow down. 225-300 is by far the worst because sometimes it takes over 25+ successfully caught fish for one skill up. It doesn’t matter where you fish when it comes to fishing skill ups. It always remains the same pace.
Does fishing in Nighthaven count as fishing in the lake? I assume it would, but just checking.

There is a flaw in the cooking part at the end of this guide.
The Filet of Redgill & Sunscale Salmon grey out at 295 atm, and the dropchance of Whitescale Salmon is like 0% in moonglade, making a quick trip to winterspring next door and fish the remaining 5 salmon in the Frostfire Hot Springs while having your bright baubles and + big iron fishing pole equipped will make sure that the fish wont swim away as the chance of that diminishes after 330.
Correct. TBC made them grey out at 295.
Hey, best fishing/cooking guide I'll ever see :) BTW, I want to lvl fishing and cooking while questing, would you recommend going straight to Southshore at lvl 10-15 and get it out of the way asap?
That’s what I do, but it’s not for everyone. The great part about it though is you will have flight plans very early and that helps a lot later in your levels.
Great guide. Was curious, what is the required raid food? Never leveled cooking and fishing in vanilla.
Nightfin Soup, Mightfish Steak and a few others. If you're serious about raiding you're looking for any and every buff you can get.

Yes it is, but it will not come out until I complete the Horde Fishing/Cooking Guide. For those that are not rushing to 60 a fortune awaits them within Fishing/Cooking, because in order to raid quickly they likely did not stop to level their secondary professions. It will be a gold mine not many think of. Well...until I blast it on CZcams I guess. Lol
