    History
The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States and Canada.
The 1972 models were very similar to the 1971 models, with the only change being the rear- view mirror was glued to the windshield rather than bolted to top of the cab, and metal or vinyl-covered flat door panels were no longer available; all trim level door panels were molded plastic with integral armrests and wood grain inserts on Cheyenne and Sierra trim levels.
    Why This Truck Is Special
This 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C10 Pickup we have at Skyway Classics takes this truck up to a new level as it has been totally restored and retains a ton of factory performance and comfort items.
    Mechanical Specs
Let’s start with the factory big block 402 cubic inch engine which sits in a perfect factory correct and detailed engine bay. The owner states that this is the original numbers matching 402 Big Block that is mated to the original 400 Turbo Trans and 12 Bolt Rear end. We include pictures of the engine casting number, engine pad number, transmission number and rear end numbers in our picture section. Everything looks as it did in '72 with the factory valve covers, intake, cast iron exhaust manifolds, hoses and accessories, and breather. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes, and factory AC. It even retains some of the original decals and factory markings.
When you look under this truck all the floors pans look solid and are in great shape and every part is cleaned and detailed here too. Other components include Dual Exhaust with pipes exiting on each side, correct grey 15" Rally Wheels and chrome trim rings with fat white letter Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires under the near perfect short bed.
    Interior
On the inside the restored factory black bucket seats have the sculptured inlays. The factory door panels look great with the wood grain inserts that match the dash. When you look at the dash it has the gauges with the factory 5000 rpm tach. The column is Tilt with the black cushioned tri-spoke steering wheel.
It has seatbelts, a restored radio and speaker system, great headliner, and all other factory correct interior parts.
    Exterior
It is painted super nice black on the exterior and bed, with woodgrain and chrome trim. It has a laser straight body and good lines. The fit of the bed to the cab is very good. The fit of the side stainless is as good as we have seen and it's all factory. This C10 also has the dual mirrors. Also it has the wood grain in the lower chrome and tail gate which all looks great as well as the Cheyenne Super C10 badging it came with.
    Conclusion
There are very few 1972 Chevrolet Super C10 Pickup trucks either stock or in restored condition but we have this Super one at Skyway Classics. If you come see it in person, you will know what we mean. This truck is simply gorgeous, let alone great sounding and driving.

A few things are off but not bad. One of them being the lower tailgate trim. You could not get that with the band and the shaved tailgate handle . Rally rims are also not original. All 67-72 came with steel wheels. The rally wheel is a square body thing. Allso could not get chrome trim around a sliding rear window. Also aftermarket steering wheel and 3 point seat belts. Looking even closer at makes me think it's not a real CST. Ether way with all my nit picking it still not a bad looking c10. Other then the spray paint over the rust underneath.

@@Road_Rash if you read the description they threw the term factory around a lot. They also say matching numbers if you don't have the original paper work thare is no numbers to match.
