Episode 3: Splitting Your Bills Up Over Paychecks-Weekly Paydays | Budget Series

Here is episode 3 of my budget series! For this video, I show you how to split up your monthly bills over your weekly paychecks, so you're not having one huge payment come out of one paycheck, such as a $900 mortgage payment. By doing this method, you taking a 1/4 of that payment ($225) and setting that aside each week. Then when your payments comes due, you have the full $900 ready to pay!

I've tried this type of set up. It gets frustrating for me though, I get paid weekly, and my husband gets paid bi weekly at the moment. He's planning on changing jobs by Thanksgiving, which will be income that is inconsistent. We've made arrangements for income to help us through his first real estate sale, then we'll have to budget that income for a certain amount of time. Will definitely be looking at how to budget on income that's inconsistent.

It will be at the end of the series! I was having the worst trouble with a corrupted memory card and then I couldn’t get the video uploaded so I moved onto episode 3. What template are you talking about, the spreadsheet? If so, I used Excel.
