    Love the message in this conversation. Communication between polyglots! Would LOVE to see more content with the two of you. Idea: discuss local culture in contemporary times and how multiculturalism helps progress, this is something in the Netherlands that is very big right now too. Most Dutch are bilingual or trilingual already and it has influenced the culture drastically. I speak 5 languages as a Dutch person and most of my friends speak 3 to 4 languages as well! Letsgooo!

      That's right. You couldn't have a real conversation with someone who is always replying with "I think languages are important" "I have many friends" "I like the food and culture" "We can go out to eat" I literally hear that in every video he is 😂

    Can I ask something? whi should I be fluent In the first place if I'm not a native speaker whi should a bother myself and push myself .if I'm able to speak a language correctly this is good enough .and I think also that in 2022 People should know how to speak English and focus in programming languages because this is the future

      I don't know why one wouldn't want to be fluent in a foreign language they're learning. Might as well not learn it at all then.

      What language is important totally depends where you live and what other languages you like.
      Even if many people knows English you would be treated with so much more respect if you use their native language.
      Even just a few words show that you are willing to learn and care.

      Use an app to learn the very basics in Grammer and vocabulary, when you can do as little as translate a simple letter or something ditch the app entirely and do thinks like consume native media through books, movies, songs, podcasts, shows, etc
      In addition, join group chats intended for learning the language you'd like, apps like discord have a shit ton and people are very understanding about mistakes
      It's all about immersing yourself as much as you possibly can, if you have an internet connection you can do everything short of moving to another country for free

      it's not "very hard". native speakers need to stop overestimating how hard their languages are. you don't have the insight of it that foreigners have. seems like a recurring theme for native speakers of a lot of languages.

      Swedish is among the easiest 5 languages to master if you know English. Often rated just after Norwegian and Dutch.

      There are no rules to language learning. Assuming you approach the languages with a systematic and focused approach. You won't have any issues. Just solidify one before you move on if you want it to stick.

    You don't even know HOW MUCH I admire you. However I want to give you a challange. Learn some basics of Polish. It's the second hardest language after Chineese. I'm not saying that you should speak it fluently (because it's not even possible) but I'm challenging you to learn some basics - just to show off ;-)

    I can't even understand Italian that well, my Spanish is better, but I can tell you speak it like an Italian.
    It's what I noticed after I realized you speak very good German as well. It's not normal for people to speak German this close to native level.
    Germans can even tell where people's parents came from based on their German. Talking about people who lived most of their life in Germany.
    You rarely sound like an American.

      Everybody can. Just in normal life is usually unpractical. Usually you need to know your own - AND ENGLISH. And that's enough to work and survive. That's why we typically don't learn other languages. We simply don't have to. BUT knowing any additional language is GOLD.
