- Thank you so very much to all those who sent us parcels. The dogs and humans were very excited and enjoyed all the gifts that were sent. Honestly the dogs felt like it was Christmas. Hope LOVES parcel opening time, who would have thought. Not me back when she first arrived that’s for sure. Now she’s almost as pushy as Rosco in finding some toys in those boxes.
Rosco was waiting for no one. He went and started opening the boxes himself.
Bev sends a chilli product that comes in a medicine dropper. It has 3.5 million on the Scoville scale. Luke hardly survives.
Some beautiful heartfelt letters and gifts that bring me to tears. Words that mean so so much.
At the end we begin to give an update on all the dogs but we only get so far as Lily before my phone runs out of battery unknowingly to us. Apologies. We will do another video and redo the update.
Thank you to you all for your love and support for our family. The parcels are exciting and we are very grateful, but we also appreciate all the love and support we receive through comments and simply watching our videos. It means so much, it truly does.

Had to shed a tear about Hope loving salmon. I remember all too well the way Hope and Faith acted around food. I feared they would starve themselves to death. Hope gives the world Hope now. And Faith lived long enough to experience love and made sure her daughter was in good hands.
That still makes me cry. I wish Faith could have been around longer. But it warms my heart to see Hope running and playing like the bad stuff never happened.
@@Sunny_B4 It is so amazing to see how rescued dogs turn around with love. Our last rescue was surrendered when he was 13. I thought he would have a problem and not live long. But he was with us for almost 4 years before oral cancer took his life. I never would have recovered after loving a family so long and then given away.

The degree to which Hope has transformed is one of the most amazing things I've seen. She was so broken down she would literally barely walk...and she is now one of the most active, bold, cheeky (and loving) members of the pack. It's so incredible!
Agreed! Hope is a miracle! I just love watching her blossom! I just watched an older video where she was too timid to come through the pack to get a treat and thought, with delight, how far she has come!!

I find that part of what I enjoy about the online pack is imagining us watching the videos...while on a bullet train in Tokyo...or the Tube in London...or the bus in N.Y.C...at the kitchen table in Vancouver...hospital bed in Jo-burg...on a coffee break in a library in Dusseldorf...walking down the street in Djkarta...or on the beach in Anglesey. I love experiences that are shared globally (less the shared pandemic, but yes to Olympics and World Cup etc.) Thanks for me and xx to you (I can always tell someone is from the U.K. when I see the x on the sign-off 🙂) Hope all is well in the land of St. David. (I can't help thinking of the character Daffyd from "Little Britain" when I think of Wales.)

Your senario in a nutshell has me ROFL!! I swear this was the best video I've seen in a while. Luckily, no Lukes were hurt (too badly) in the making. He may have lost a layer or three off his tongue and his throat found a new way to process food, but all is good. I can't think of anything else they could have included for a better finale! Hey Luke, please be careful with those insanely hot peppers. They can be dangerous if you have a reaction. Many people have ended up in the Emergency Room, or worse. For anyone, if you find yourself having eaten something that spicy, the last thing you want to do is drink water. It will make it worse. if water is all you have, swirl it around in your mouth and quickly spit it out. Repeat until things start to improve. The best thing is taking a big bite of something absorbent, like bread/cake/cookies and roll it around in your mouth. It will absorb the oils containing the capsaicin and reduce the time it takes for the burning to go away. It's probably best (on your digestive system) to spit out the bread and repeat until things start getting better. If you drink something, make it something creamy, like heavy milk. Soft ice cream might be best. This will help wash the hot out, with the added benefit of buffering the heat while it's travelling through you stomach and beyond.

@@TheFarmForDogs Yogurt, too. Capsaicin oils will bind to a compound in dairy...that's why hot curries are often served with yogurt, and hot Mexican food with sour cream, to cut the heat. Also, delicious. 🙂

These were dogs who did not know what dog/pet life was all about as they were dogs that just working for their humans without any understanding . Sam and Luke had it spot on when they said that they never had a puppy stage of life so they are just now experiencing that. Hope and Roscoe knew where the fun was in “package opening” and even thought they were a little over the top, they never got mad or lost their temper with them but tried to redirect them.

I love how you know your pups so well. Please give dear Lily an extra hug. My giant poodle was the same way when it came to pack shenanigans vs time just for him.

Perhaps when the hot sauces are sent a jar of honey can be included so Luke doesn’t have to drink from the doggies water bowl. I think Hope did miss out on puppyhood. It’s so fabulous to see her being so cheeky. I love how you had so many helper dogs. Cracks me up. I was thinking the same thing Jackie, and keeping an eye out on Dodo for the next Farm video. Dodo would be crazy not to use some of The Farm’s stories and material. The Farm has always been my ‘happy place’ too💙
I was actually laughing aloud during some of the video, but not at you, Luke. I accidentally chewed one of those red peppers in Chinese food when I was quite young. I thought I was going to die! You are a gutsy lad!!! Hahaha. It is lovely to see Lilly doing so well. I worried for her prior to her diagnosis when I saw the video of her original dad coming to get her after a long absence and then learning that he could no longer care for her. I just felt so sorry for her even though the Farm is a wonderful place. But, she is doing well. I especially love seeing her play with Rover. Who would have thought? Rover is great with all the dogs. Anyway, another great video. My thanks to all of those who sent such great gifts. You are generous and loving humans which seems rare these days. Post again when you can, Sam. I will watch anything from the Farm. I love it all!!!

Oh, no! See’s is probably the best chocolate in the country. I think they are in San Francisco and it’s famous not only for it’s wonderful chocolates, it has been around forever In the 1950s tv show “I Love Lucy” they shot the scene where Lucy and Ethel went to work in the chocolate factory and couldn’t keep up with filling the boxes as they came down the conveyor belt. Did you wonder if Louis was sitting on that box because it was filled with the fat mice who ate the candy ! ❤ 😂

This video had it all... parcel opening, dam swimming, Q and A, doggy updates and...... Luke's hot sauce melt down. 😂 Chop chop chose to rid himself of dam water on camera ( and on Sam) while off camera I believe Luke was unable to hold down the dog bowl water. Oh my....
I think it is time for Louie to be encouraged to patrol the area where you store the parcels. He's neglecting his job! I feel so sorry for the sender of that very special parcel. ...I hope it wasn't the same person who sent the treats that were stolen and consumed in the bush by certain dogs! Thanks for another very enjoyable post. I did wonder why Chop 's tail was between his legs as he snuggled into you- then he threw up! I He had licked your lunch bowls so maybe he got some of Luke's spicy sauce... Lots of lovely letters and interesting chat.... I personally am happy to view whatever videos the Evans Farm Family is comfortable posting. I’ve said it before, I would watch hours of video panning around the lounge showing the dogs sleeping.

Yes, it looks like milk needs to be a first-aid stand-by whenever Luke starts opening parcels. We don't want him to succumb to hot sauce, lol!
These package openings are the best to watch. People are so kind and generous and I love it when the package inspectors get impatient when you don't open fast enough. There are many laughs in this video. The dog personalities sure come out when there is a possibility of squeaky pigs in the vicinity. I laughed so hard when chopper decided "to share" at the end of the video. Sorry Sam, but it was funny. I have to get a cup of coffee before watching these videos, because I want to just sit and savor each minute. Thank you for sharing!

Luke’s interest in hot pepper sauce has me concerned for his health, but if he enjoys it, well more power to him. Sam is spot on about loving cups. What we drink out of is so personal. The colour, shape, inscription says who we are at that moment. I have a huge collection of Brumate insulated in mugs, the color I choose definitely sets the tone for my day.
