Veggie Pate (Faux Gras) - Two Spoons

- This is my episode for my homemade vegan and veggie pate (i.e. - faux gras)! It's a recipe from The Two Spoons Cookbook.
This veggie pate is made from mushrooms and lentils and well - seasoned for an umami-rich spread that is very similar in taste to pâté. A classic french spread that's been made vegan.
The best way to enjoy it, in my opinion, is generously spread on toasted garlic bread. Or serve on gluten-free crackers to keep it gluten-free.for veggie pate made with a base of mushrooms, lentils and walnuts that tastes so much like the real spread - full of umami flavour - and completely cruelty-free!

the mushroom washing thing is kind of a myth. If you're cooking the water out of the mushrooms anyway, it's fine to wash them, as you're cooking the water out anyway...
