Ingeniously very very very creative with a very well taught tutorial with two options the souvenir method would knock socks off at private functions I should be in bed but glad I had a last minute at midnight UK time to watch some magic and now I wont sleep as my mind is so blown. One question how many prototypes/decks did it take to create this. loved the signed method twist. My Ill health prevents me working or performing full time But I still practice and still create ideas too.But that was beautiful to watch and learn this 63 year old was inspired `100% I would love to learn more walk around Magic with souvenir gaffed card effects

that’s a great idea, it should work with photos too as long as you do some photoshop or use a symmetrical one. Also, you should be able to split it at least in half. If not, glue two pictures together in the form of the gimmick and you should be golden. Great thinking!
Love it Javier!....super impossible object. One idea would be to do a short 2-3 phase routine, and do a signature duplication when they first sign the card. You can take it back and just say you are going to date it because you want them to remember this moment. Once done with the routine , palm in the signed gimmick from the beginning , top change it and go into the crazy T'nR give away? Just a quick thought how you can introduce this. I can see this as being something they talk about and keep forever with them to show their friends I'm 💯going to try and make a bunch of these up👍.....but I wouldn't mind winning some as well 👌🤝. Would love to see more t'nr ideas and anything organic, practical and something to leave them with! Bravo homie and thank you for your contributions to UnHanded. I love the joker sandwich idea and use it as a final faze!

@@magicianjavier Yes!! Totally agree, I've got Fax also and that Parallel universe routine by Francis Menotti is my favorite, check it out. Sugar packets would be interesting with like sweet n'low / Splenda or even post -its notes. I know Kyle Purnell just released a trick using those, not sure as I don't have it. This card gimmick is awesome!! I just got this weird idea: what if you actually switch around the concept of t n r? This is what i mean, not torn and not restored. Could you maybe do something with that kind of plot? Either way…. Your awesome and this channel will have a really bright future!!!

@@magicianjavier I have also been thinking about this… I don’t want to influence your creative process but I’m going to share what I think of when I hear the line “Not torn and not restored”. I think of a card that’s whole. Then you wave your hand over and the cards become cut in cuatres, the pieces are not torn their cut. Later you shake your hand and the pieces become strung together with pink thread, the card is not restored. Eeeh now reading this I realise that my mind is a bit weird. Yeah that was all… peace every one!

I made somthing basicly exactly like this when I was younger and found out how to do the torn and restored trick. All I did was do the half spun around thing. Then I fixed it and gave it to the spectators. Basicly it was more of a force with 3 copies of the card. The gimmick (which I handed out after preforming the first part of the trick) palmed the third copy (folded) then proceeded to refold the gimmick, palm switch, then with the torn pieces from the first one (which was palmed with the archer copy not the gimmick) I act like I tear the half off, then place it back on correctly.
Trick went like this in sum:
Force the selection.
Hand them the selection while palming the gimmick.
Tear the selection into 2 1/4th pieces and 1 1/2 piece.
Do the same torn and restore routine to restore the card but backwards on one half.
Hand the gimmick to the spectators while you palm the third folded card and the 1/2 piece.
Palm switch the gimmick and the third copy and the 1/2 piece.
Act like you tear the third copy.
Flip it and then act like you put it together.
Hand the third copy to the spectator.
Long trick, but very visual

@@magicianjavier it was back in highschool. But I can definitely make the trick again. A lot of my magic stuff from when my father gave me his is all but gone. The only thing I have left is that card trick were the spectator says a card and it’s the only card face up in the deck.

That’s a great question, the honest answer is I’ve never really been active on FB, you can see that by my history on there lol. A couple days ago, I signed back on and accepted all the requests for the Nexus Group, you should be in now. With that said, I’m going to try to be more active on FB, and other socials to share what the art we all love! As a side note, I have enough new material for the Nexus wallet to make another 4 hour tutorial. Since I’m always extra busy at work, I haven’t had the chance to film it. But now since I’ve built my studio and have my own gear at home, I’m going to start sharing all those new ideas on the group, so be on the lookout. A lot of the effects/principles are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what’s currently in the instructions. I’ve also reworked the Nexus wallet to it’s V2 Form! The best part, I will be teaching everyone who has the V1 how to modify it, so everything, if not most of the what the V2 has to offer, you can do it with the V1 as well. It may take a little arts and craft, but there will be no need to actually get the new one, unless of course you choose to.
