I think MN is superior to WPL even though WPL is a pioneer in this 1/16 scale trail truck world. This might be the first RTR that I may not modify and enjoy as is. Hats off to MN...they know where to spend money and where to save to keep the costs low but still allow for a proper functionality....I also like their plastics better than WPL's, the fit and finish is just so much better.
yup this one is one step up ! from wpl and from itself as well....i have the old MN45 fj45 toyota ...and its nothing like the one above...but i couldn't complain as i paid $45 for the FJ45 not proportional 130 motor nicd battery...had to upgrade it all.
I never had problem with MN86 axle, but the wpl especially the front axle always breaks its engagement 😅
Mn models are always decent for RTR, not much to modify for early play & usually will modify if the parts are broken, like my mn78 & 128 still using the stock parts & will upgrade after the parts are broken. For WPLs they're focusing on scale looks & buyers who love to customize their own, and focusing to sell their upgrade parts.
I agree with you... but I don't know why some reviewers seem to give bad ratings. but when reviewing WPL they are mediocre. There were several reviewers who complained about the strange shape of the MN transmitter, but when it came to WPL they didn't complain.
The first review I found on CZcams was related to RC mn82 lc79

these are some cool trucks but sucks they can't find do stock parts like Motors shocks and stuff like that,because I have a mn-D90 I'm looking for the stock shocks and I can't find none but might just look for some different kind,and awesome channel great review on this truck very nice job.
Here in the philippines ecommerce store mnd90 stock parts are available, mn78 also wich mn82 share parts. But electronics for mn82 are not available yet.

How's the weight difference between mn78 & mn82? And how about the chassis quality if you look at the mn82, is it durable?
Mn78 is heavier I guess. The chassis is metal and the shell including the interrior and accessories is heavier than mn82.

Iyong openning ng fender is 68mm to 70mm feeling ko pwede isagad sa 70mm ang diameter ng tires kaso mukhang tatama iyong front tires o sasabit sa fender kapag liliko sya. Actually gagawin ko mamaya itry ibat ibang diameter ng tires update kita pero mas safe jan ung tires ni wpl v1 65mm o 67mm ba yan. Pero depende sa trip mo like kung moster truck ang dating pwede malaking tires din ibaba ang axle or you can use portal axle.

Your mn 82 came stock with the 370 motor? I know they came with a 280 motor....

Yes for me it is worth. Replace the gearbox with 370.

Hi Morris, I was testing this little truck after it arrived and suddenly the steering started to fail. I took the truck apart and checked the servo motor, it has power but it doesn't work and the small board overheats. Any idea what I can do?
You need to replace the servo motor.

There is already metal aftermarket parts available like axles, shocks, links. Mn78 and mn82 share some parts.

No bro it will not interfer with the other rc just dont switch on both rc simultaneously one at a time only. Once it is bind it will not interfer to the other rc.

@@morrisrcsir I have my last personal questions, if you we're to compare between lc79 and c24-1 which one do you think is better in upgrading?
For me its lc79, if for trail only no need more upgrade. It's bigger than c24 you have more room if you really want to upgrade the electronics.
This is my opinion but I also respect to other setup. "Your rig your rules"
For me, I love crawling, trailing and offroad and most of all scale looking rigs. So, mn82 lc79 for me it is for trail only. If I will upgrade for now it's the following: metal axle and gears, metal drive shaft because you need more weight to avoid from tumble and also wheel weights it really helps in sidehilling. In wheel weights the front is 1/3 heavier than the rear. 370 motor additional torque just a little bit and more controllable for tx. The rest are stock or plastic. I will spend the rest for accessories for the looks.
If you will upgrade other motor gearbox you will also need to upgrade the esc, tx rx.

Thanks for putting in the Finn figure. I think the Star Wars figures run on the small size for 1/12, like maybe 5.5”. Marvel figures/GI Joe Classified figures run 6”-6.5”. Wrestling figures can be a bit bigger depending on the character. I put figures in my WPL c34 and d42.
