I love how sunshot has wiggled its way into every other subclasses builds. Which is great cause sunshots had a special place in my heart since I used it in the beta.
@@diegovandromme8837 It won't be nerfed, its only bonkers right now because of the artifact being so solar focused. Once those mods are gone Sunshot will go back to being a decent option but far from what it is now. The same goes for Polaris Lance.

Your build got me the conqueror seal for that season and I have been hooked ever since. So happy to hear you are following your dream and becoming a full time content creator. 1 tip and a couple suggestions for those taking this into onslaught: - Tip 1: actually use Echo of Reprisal - Like surrounded the more enemies you’re near, the bigger the buff you get to the super you gain per kill (need a minimum of 3 enemies up to a max of 7). This can near instantly refund your super with a well placed tether. Proc devour before placing a tether then jump directly on your tether. The range of the tether is conveniently the range of Echo of Reprisal so as enemies get tethered they get stunned and pulled in closer to you. Devour proc’ing on kill also makes your tether act as almost a debuffing well of radiance. (- Bonus Tip: if playing with a Pheonix Protocol wellock, shoot your tether at one of the choke points and have the warlock place the well directly over your super. This will ensure your survival will proc’ing Echo of Reprisal, give you a damage buff, and credit the warlock with all the kills/assists from the tether for an instant super refresh for both) Suggestions: - Using vanishing step with trappers ambush lets you easily cheese capture points through invisibility. Vanishing step is also more controllable than stylish executioner allowing you to decide when you want to be invisible. - Graviton Lance is a perfect pairing. It gets the 40% damage increase to red bars for being an exotic, 20% damage buff to elites/bosses through vorpal (catalyst), provides overshields from breaking enemies’ elemental shields through turnabout (catalyst), and finally has the same level of mass add clearing capabilities as sunshot through headshots proc’ing cosmology - Power Preservation makes each tether drop multiple orbs of power provide all teammates with an added level of super regeneration. More orbs is definitely not a must for this build but they certainly don’t hurt.
echo of reprisal is not needed if you are using rigs right - aka your teammates. However, it is a good substitute if you are only getting like 80% of your super back by the time your tether runs out. I love the synergy with PP warlock as well, good call. Graviton is also going to rain the champ without seasonal mods. However, I have been suspicious of scorch. I haven't seen any testing done on it as it might be difficult to do so. I feel like the tick damage from scorch could be providing bonus super energy regen if it comes from weapon sources - particularly primary weapons. Surges improve ignition damage if the first scorch status was applied via a weapon so perhaps there is another good reason for sunshot that makes it feel so perfect - especially this season.
That maximises Orpheus - great advice. I find graviton gets too weak for the last 15-20 waves, but found arc weapons (indebted kindness with voltshot + Anarchy as heavy) plus mountain top (alh and recombination) is great for tanky hits. Double special works fine with ammo drops
@@nelsonz1014 Orpheus Rig can only refund up to 50% of your super energy. You need to find the remaining 50% elsewhere which is where Echo of Reprisal comes in.
With this season artifact and echo of reprisal being so good with Orpheus, the real MVP primary for this build is Final Warning. Jacked up crit shots, never ending unraveling rounds, just overall great damage, and nothing in your tether can really shoot back at you. Mix in a disorienting launcher every now and then and stay almost completely safe at all times
the only thing i hate when running orpheus, is when you put your tether down to catch all the enemies, but your teammates blast them all in their spawn before you can get your super back lol
Can't control what your teammates do. SO even when sub-optimal I just shoot the tether at spawns or however your blueberries can't deny you your super regen.
They’re only really worth using in harder content where you need a dedicated team, so just ell them to wait until they hit the terher if they really want to clear 50 waves they will listen. If you’re doing easier things with tether I swap out Orpheus for wormhusk and play more aggressively. But up to you

I used this build yesterday while watching your stream. Was able to see weapons used and Armor mods but couldn't see fragments. I went through 50 waves on normal for the first time. It was great. I was getting tired of Destiny 2 but its the only game my best friend plays. After watching your builds over the past year I've grown to enjoy the game again. Thanks for that.
I would use vanishing step instead of stylish executioner. The only time you are void debuffing enemies is when you are blinding or tethering them anyway so at that point there's no real upside to being continuously invisible because the enemies are stunned. Vanishing step and trappers ambush ensures you can go invisible basically any time you need to even if your tether isn't up
I’m very new to Destiny and I’m researching good builds so I learn the meta quickly. Wdym by good pair? Are you saying that in reference to the perks it comes with? I thought exotics came with good perks already that same (as in KH radar will always have the same set of perks always)
@@omegalite1090 good pair refers to the over all stat weights on the armor piece, i.e 65-70 being typically highly desireable, but needing the Mobility/Resilence/Recovery stats high enough to hit certain thresholds.
Like for my stats on this particular build I got a Orpheus drop that had enough stats to facilitate 80 Mobility while still retaining 100 Resilience to give me max Natural Damage Resistance.

The joy of neutral builds like this is that they work every season, you just switch sunshot out for whatever other element is best the next season. Love this.
Not only that but it’s actually an amazing concept to use explosive damage to “ping pong” the damage between enemies with the tether. I never really thought to make that the focal point of one of my builds but now I definitely will lol
This build isnt completely neutral as its main strength is in utilising artifact and sunshot so next season buried bloodline and collective obligation would be the best graviton would be ok for F2P but way less effective
@@Cod__Fish Yes but if next seasons artifact has a strand focus, or a stasis focus, or an arc focus, then all you have to do is switch out sunshot & some mods for whatever the element is that makes sense for that season. OR you can always play it safe and just stick with void for the void super.
@breadman86 the point here is to say as simply as possible the build is the basic orpheus rig build and its showing how this artifact is amazing with it. When the artifact is gone this video is pointless besides showing new players the basic rig build and ive said the main void best meta style weapons that can do this without artifact for the basic build are. So basically if next season has something that is better than the basic build with those weapon choices that itself would be video or short worthy and most likely alter the build way more. and another variation of the basic build is heartshadow and void scout shotgun or pulse (shotgun for damage version and the 2 primaries for the same reason they have been used in solo gms and exotic missions) heartshadow provides damage and invis and the aoe can destroy tethered. You see with just changing the weapon itself changes playstyle focus and potential thats why to make a build video for people that dont understand stuff you need to explain a lot (i myself dont own any dungeon keys or season passes so all weapons i mentioned but graviton i cant even get but my understanding of them is higher than most people that have and used the weapons before that doesnt work for most people. I can look at 3-4 screenshots for a build (weapons + exotic armour, armor mods, subclass screen and maybe artifact if important) and i know the playstyle of the build most people cant do that and artifact mods are the worst as they change a lot as non permanent interactions you have to memorise as the game doesnt tell you so any build with aftifact dependant or highly affected interactions, a specific video highlighting and explaining how the interaction works and likely what specific things it works best for (for example solar weapon precision for radiant i dont recommend pre astayanax bow to get radiant you cant miss a single headshot to proc. Before barrier champ uses barrier making you try again next time) small tips like that can make a build amazing or incredibly hard to use (btw raidant is based on mag size if i remember correctly so i had a issue with tommys matchbook at one point aswell)
Stasis hunter feels absolutely amazing in onslaught because you can cover an entire enemy spawn location with just one duskfield due to its size. I don’t think the classic renewals duskfield build has ever shined more. You should definitely revisit it
I've seen some crazy things in the pyramid at the boss. Drop a tether on the boss and mobs, throw a nade and sometimes some enemies go 300 feet up in the air and land behind you at the door. Hilarious, it's like a clay pigeon shoot. Another thing you can do if you go to the rally flag with a full super, let someone else pop the flag, shoot open the door then fire your tether at the boss, turn around and grab the flag for another free super.
I have to mention this. I was using a crafted Drang sidearm with master-worked incandescent and it was shredding enemies, almost as good as Sunshot. I'm not saying use it over Sunshot, but it is a slept on option. If you wanted to use Gjally or Dragons Breath, try making a Drang to replace Sunshot. Drang hits like a tank.
this is a really fun build, been playing with it in onslaught for a bunch. One thing I've come to like more is Echo of expulsion instead of undermining, because while weaken is decent, and you can sometimes get another melee regen, in a quick tight spot against tougher packs it isn't always reliable to get a quick weaken kill, and tethered enemies will trigger the explosion from expulsion which allows you to really carry a full wave of tougher yellow bars when your teammates may not be as experienced or whatnot, so you can just decimate full waves that have yellow bars mixed in by just killing the weaker enemies, and either graviton or sunshot work really well because yes the sunshot/artifact pops are nice, I find that they aren't needed as much when everything is rolling and the Ball pops from graviton count as exotic hits and are way faster at getting super back when you don't have a tether out or your teammates kill them too fast for you to get kills, so in the downtime it feels much faster to get your super back. Just a couple ideas for people to try out if they want!
Been recently building a Hunter and don't have much gear for him. I have this and have been looking for how to use it. Gonna put this together with a lucky pants build my son told me about and get going. This old man thanks you for putting in the work that makes it easy for us wrinkled, gray haired gamers to keep up!
Had a Sunsinger Warlock on my team last night. +25k kills with his Sunshot... So I said sure, I'll bust mine out for fun. Holy hell, this build is amazing. Glad to see you post it!
If you are into swaps or loadout swaps, u could put on Star Ears for fast super energy after your tether is gone or Gyrfalcons for add clear and then put rigs back on, if you wanna be fancy but rigs are good by themselves anyways.
For onslaught I’ve been rocking this build with double 100s in resilience and intellect, and using scatter signal with sunshot+apex. Definitely the best hunter build period in the activity for both normal and legend.
ive been so pissed that hardly any void builds can use anything other than something like graviton, and so because i main sunshot im kinda glued to solar. glad somebody thought of this, so far its been a phenomenal build
When I saw the thumbnail, I assumed you were being silly with Sunshot in there. Of all the weapons I expected to see in a "best void Hunter build" video, Sunshot was definitely not it, but I'm glad it's getting more love! It's been a favourite of mine since it came out (currently 80k+ kills) and you can bet your ass I'm going to be trying this build out.
I've been loving this build! I was using graviton lance and succession. I knew immediately when they showed Onslaught for the first time in the live streams that I would be using Hunter Tether because I used it back in the days of Escalation Protocol when Orpheus Rigs were extremely broken and there was no cap on how much super it gave back. Great video man, thanks for showing the mods
Great video, especially with the explanation of the anchor points for lockdowns. Too many people watch build vids without an understanding of how or when to utilize the super. 1 thing I will say is that I find (lingering dread with disorienting + chill clip, zouli’s bane, and Gjallarhorn) to be a stronger combination.
I like you going through where to drop tethers. I think honestly just making a video going through best sightlines and control points for spawns on all the maps would be very useful content.
Void hunter has been by far my favourite way to play the game for the past few seasons, especially with gyrfalcons, but this season has really re-highlighted Orpheus for me, it’s an absolute beast in onslaught! Also great vid that filled in some gaps for my build!!
My favorite Destiny 2 build creator, already preparing us for those sweet, sweet Prismatic combos that will demolish everything in The Final Shape. Way to go Mactics, can’t wait to continue this journey with you into the Pale Heart and beyond! 😁👍
I never used sunshot until I tried to solo Spire of the Watcher. Now it’s one of my favorite handcannons. Literally makes everyone explode like fireworks
My build I used to clear W50 Legend is similar: Orpheus Rig Mountaintop/Succession (Tormentor wave) + Graviton + Edge Transit (Env Assassisn + BnS) Vanishing step instead of Stylish Exec, you don't need invisibility after killing a debuffed enemy, you want to keep killing Suppressor nade as a small area stun, removes the need for a blinding GL for enemies that don't get caught on the tether Graviton is in my opinion better for overload stunning than rocket and the Cosmology explosions chain a lot giving you a lot of super This is also future-proof and doesn't rely on Artifact perks
As a returning player to Destiny 2, your builds have breathed new life into Destiny for me. I can get stuck in my ways a bit and tend to stick to one build, if not rarely two builds. Watching your builds excites me to try new stuff, like stasis which I never really liked the look of until your videos. Thank you for sharing these creative builds and thank you for making Destiny 2 fun again!
I've been using this build a lot prior to this video, but one of the big changes I'd make when not running a gjallarhorn is to use an edge transit in your heavy slot, swapping between one for ad clearing (I use chain reaction and explosive light) and one for DPS at bosses (I use autoloading and BnS) That way you'd get better ammo economy and dps with your heavy, and it would double as a very effective champion/miniboss killer during waves.

It’s a crazy combo with sun shot, one of my friends used this the other night, while I ran your gyrfalcons build and we were just obliterating everything.
We have been struggling to complete all 50 waves usually stuffing up around wave 40 ish using various builds so we went back to basics and we used two tether hunters very similar to this vid and one warlock well with sunbrassers and completed it pretty easy. We had double invis on though for the capture rounds, we captured without killing the big enemy ran back to base then killed the big enemy together when it came towards the objective it’s sooooo much easier, as for weapons we had the same but one hunter had gally on and we used chill clip fusions instead of grenade launcher because they can stun overload and unstoppable champions. It worked very very well.
I have STRUGGLED with this game mode and I made this build and even without the catalyst for the sunshot first game completed wave 50. This build is perfection.
I use it with MALFEASANCE paired with Kinetic surges, Kinetic loaders, and siphons paired with Orpheus and 100 resilience 100 intellect to get my super back CONSTANTLY. Love this build so much.

I ve been using buried bloodline with orpheus with great success. Commemoration and a strand primary to proc unraveling rounds on orbs. Always have devour, things always weakened, super up very fast.
I've been using sunshot for a strand shackle consume build. Massive suspends while getting sunshot to make me radiant ,apply scorch/detonations chaining off the suspends and a strand shotty in the primary with apex predator in the heavy. Spec in Triple solar damage in the mods and 2 firepower 1 bolstering . You get unlimited suspends , grenades , and supers with being radiant and all the mods you can synergize in the artifact for max scorch/detonations while boosting damage done to strand debuffed targets. Ticcu, Polaris lance , and vex all work well with it whatever you fancy really . Strand and solar suspension builds feel so good right now . 💥🔥🔫🆙🧵
would absolutely love to get that snake heart emblem, or either of the other two. very neat build is great, sunshot feels so good rn, it felt good BEFORE this seasons crazy artifact and the changes to hand cannons. now it just feels unbeatable.
IMO you should drop dynamo on the helmet and add heavy ammo finder and the one that drops bricks for your teammates as well. Especially when using an exotic primary like Sunshot.
This is why Mactics is the best for builds, 'cause they're always well explained with what and why everything does what it does! Also thanks for the tether spots.

Sunshot is just beast rn and works in alot of builds. Im getting a kick out of the strand wish keeper build swapped for sunshot rn. So many kills and far more survivability than the solar build
Might want to expand on your content to provide best build team setup. Yeah, I played with this Hunter Void build and it is really good but I also noticed having a Solar Titan comes in handy. Perfect team, in my option, would be the Void Hunter with a Omnioculus Deadfall Tether, Solar Warlock with a Phoenix Protocol Wellock and Solar Titan with a Hallowfire Heart Throwing Hammers.

Le Monarque maximizes super regen even more. I've also found Buried Bloodline + Special Ammo Finisher is very easy to be dominant with in GMs.

Agree the ability to go invis more often is very useful at the later waves of Onslaught in my experience
Agree used this build this morning, got it done but I 100% missed vanishing step, it would have saved me 4/5 deaths
Still not sure how going invis will help you in legendary mode vs a Warlock with solar grenades you can spam

I’m very new to Destiny and I’m researching good builds so I learn the meta quickly. Wdym by good pair? Are you saying that in reference to the perks it comes with? I thought exotics came with good perks already that same (as in KH radar will always have the same set of perks always)
@@omegalite1090 good pair refers to the over all stat weights on the armor piece, i.e 65-70 being typically highly desireable, but needing the Mobility/Resilence/Recovery stats high enough to hit certain thresholds.
Like for my stats on this particular build I got a Orpheus drop that had enough stats to facilitate 80 Mobility while still retaining 100 Resilience to give me max Natural Damage Resistance.
But also it's a Turn-of-phrase to refer to leg armor as a "Pair of Boots"
@@ArchangelNashanhey I’m kind of new to the game but what stats for a hunter do u think need to be focused on the most ? I try to focus on discipline and resilient with trying to keep mobility fairy up as well.
The joy of neutral builds like this is that they work every season, you just switch sunshot out for whatever other element is best the next season. Love this.
Not only that but it’s actually an amazing concept to use explosive damage to “ping pong” the damage between enemies with the tether.
I never really thought to make that the focal point of one of my builds but now I definitely will lol
This build isnt completely neutral as its main strength is in utilising artifact and sunshot so next season buried bloodline and collective obligation would be the best graviton would be ok for F2P but way less effective
@@Cod__Fish Yes but if next seasons artifact has a strand focus, or a stasis focus, or an arc focus, then all you have to do is switch out sunshot & some mods for whatever the element is that makes sense for that season. OR you can always play it safe and just stick with void for the void super.
@breadman86 the point here is to say as simply as possible the build is the basic orpheus rig build and its showing how this artifact is amazing with it. When the artifact is gone this video is pointless besides showing new players the basic rig build and ive said the main void best meta style weapons that can do this without artifact for the basic build are. So basically if next season has something that is better than the basic build with those weapon choices that itself would be video or short worthy and most likely alter the build way more. and another variation of the basic build is heartshadow and void scout shotgun or pulse (shotgun for damage version and the 2 primaries for the same reason they have been used in solo gms and exotic missions) heartshadow provides damage and invis and the aoe can destroy tethered. You see with just changing the weapon itself changes playstyle focus and potential thats why to make a build video for people that dont understand stuff you need to explain a lot (i myself dont own any dungeon keys or season passes so all weapons i mentioned but graviton i cant even get but my understanding of them is higher than most people that have and used the weapons before that doesnt work for most people. I can look at 3-4 screenshots for a build (weapons + exotic armour, armor mods, subclass screen and maybe artifact if important) and i know the playstyle of the build most people cant do that and artifact mods are the worst as they change a lot as non permanent interactions you have to memorise as the game doesnt tell you so any build with aftifact dependant or highly affected interactions, a specific video highlighting and explaining how the interaction works and likely what specific things it works best for (for example solar weapon precision for radiant i dont recommend pre astayanax bow to get radiant you cant miss a single headshot to proc. Before barrier champ uses barrier making you try again next time) small tips like that can make a build amazing or incredibly hard to use (btw raidant is based on mag size if i remember correctly so i had a issue with tommys matchbook at one point aswell)
Stasis hunter feels absolutely amazing in onslaught because you can cover an entire enemy spawn location with just one duskfield due to its size. I don’t think the classic renewals duskfield build has ever shined more. You should definitely revisit it

I've seen some crazy things in the pyramid at the boss. Drop a tether on the boss and mobs, throw a nade and sometimes some enemies go 300 feet up in the air and land behind you at the door. Hilarious, it's like a clay pigeon shoot.
Another thing you can do if you go to the rally flag with a full super, let someone else pop the flag, shoot open the door then fire your tether at the boss, turn around and grab the flag for another free super.
Hmm, thats a great idea but does it truly work? Guess, I'll have to try it.

i would recommend power preservation on the helmet so your allies can cast their super more also, i made over 200 orbs by wave 30 one run

I have to mention this. I was using a crafted Drang sidearm with master-worked incandescent and it was shredding enemies, almost as good as Sunshot. I'm not saying use it over Sunshot, but it is a slept on option. If you wanted to use Gjally or Dragons Breath, try making a Drang to replace Sunshot. Drang hits like a tank.

I’ve been meaning to dust off my void hunter recently, this build was the kick I needed. Love the format!
this is a really fun build, been playing with it in onslaught for a bunch. One thing I've come to like more is Echo of expulsion instead of undermining, because while weaken is decent, and you can sometimes get another melee regen, in a quick tight spot against tougher packs it isn't always reliable to get a quick weaken kill, and tethered enemies will trigger the explosion from expulsion which allows you to really carry a full wave of tougher yellow bars when your teammates may not be as experienced or whatnot, so you can just decimate full waves that have yellow bars mixed in by just killing the weaker enemies, and either graviton or sunshot work really well because yes the sunshot/artifact pops are nice, I find that they aren't needed as much when everything is rolling and the Ball pops from graviton count as exotic hits and are way faster at getting super back when you don't have a tether out or your teammates kill them too fast for you to get kills, so in the downtime it feels much faster to get your super back. Just a couple ideas for people to try out if they want!

Been recently building a Hunter and don't have much gear for him. I have this and have been looking for how to use it. Gonna put this together with a lucky pants build my son told me about and get going. This old man thanks you for putting in the work that makes it easy for us wrinkled, gray haired gamers to keep up!

Had a Sunsinger Warlock on my team last night. +25k kills with his Sunshot... So I said sure, I'll bust mine out for fun. Holy hell, this build is amazing. Glad to see you post it!
If you are into swaps or loadout swaps, u could put on Star Ears for fast super energy after your tether is gone or Gyrfalcons for add clear and then put rigs back on, if you wanna be fancy but rigs are good by themselves anyways.
This build uses a few features of the void subclass that I just never got into before and it is SO FUN! TY!
For onslaught I’ve been rocking this build with double 100s in resilience and intellect, and using scatter signal with sunshot+apex. Definitely the best hunter build period in the activity for both normal and legend.
ive been so pissed that hardly any void builds can use anything other than something like graviton, and so because i main sunshot im kinda glued to solar. glad somebody thought of this, so far its been a phenomenal build
I've been solely running G.Lance with my void build, but hand cannons have always been my favorite primary. Excited to give this build a go.
When I saw the thumbnail, I assumed you were being silly with Sunshot in there. Of all the weapons I expected to see in a "best void Hunter build" video, Sunshot was definitely not it, but I'm glad it's getting more love! It's been a favourite of mine since it came out (currently 80k+ kills) and you can bet your ass I'm going to be trying this build out.
I've been loving this build! I was using graviton lance and succession. I knew immediately when they showed Onslaught for the first time in the live streams that I would be using Hunter Tether because I used it back in the days of Escalation Protocol when Orpheus Rigs were extremely broken and there was no cap on how much super it gave back. Great video, especially with the explanation of the anchor points for lockdowns. Too many people watch build vids without an understanding of how or when to utilize the super. 1 thing I will say is that I find (lingering dread with disorienting + chill clip, zouli’s bane, and Gjallarhorn) to be a stronger combination.
I like you going through where to drop tethers. I think honestly just making a video going through best sightlines and control points for spawns on all the maps would be very useful content.

This build is so much fun to play! I've been honestly struggling with Legend Onslaught and this has been helping immensely.
Void hunter has been by far my favourite way to play the game for the past few seasons, especially with gyrfalcons, but this season has really re-highlighted Orpheus for me, it’s an absolute beast in onslaught! Also great vid that filled in some gaps for my build!!
My favorite Destiny 2 build creator, already preparing us for those sweet, sweet Prismatic combos that will demolish everything in The Final Shape. Way to go Mactics, can’t wait to continue this journey with you into the Pale Heart and beyond! 😁👍

Always loved Orpheus Rig! My main void hunter build! Using this changed Onslaught for me and helped with my clears!
Used this build and did a full wave 50 Onslaught with randoms. Gonna tweak a few things but loved using Sunshot and a GL.
I never used sunshot until I tried to solo Spire of the Watcher. Now it’s one of my favorite handcannons. Literally makes everyone explode like fireworks
My build I used to clear W50 Legend is similar:
Orpheus Rig
Mountaintop/Succession (Tormentor wave) + Graviton + Edge Transit (Env Assassisn + BnS)
Vanishing step instead of Stylish Exec, you don't need invisibility after killing a debuffed enemy, you want to keep killing
Suppressor nade as a small area stun, removes the need for a blinding GL for enemies that don't get caught on the tether
Graviton is in my opinion better for overload stunning than rocket and the Cosmology explosions chain a lot giving you a lot of super
This is also future-proof and doesn't rely on Artifact perks
As a returning player to Destiny 2, your builds have breathed new life into Destiny for me. I can get stuck in my ways a bit and tend to stick to one build, if not rarely two builds. Watching your builds excites me to try new stuff, like stasis which I never really liked the look of until your videos. Thank you for sharing these creative builds and thank you for making Destiny 2 fun again!
I've been using this build a lot prior to this video, but one of the big changes I'd make when not running a gjallarhorn is to use an edge transit in your heavy slot, swapping between one for ad clearing (I use chain reaction and explosive light) and one for DPS at bosses (I use autoloading and BnS) That way you'd get better ammo economy and dps with your heavy, and it would double as a very effective champion/miniboss killer during waves.

It’s a crazy combo with sun shot, one of my friends used this the other night, while I ran your gyrfalcons build and we were just obliterating everything.
Love this. Just like that warlock build that had Strand and Void combined, this build looks really fun as well.
Your first video for void hunter had me so I convinced that I ran it and got my wave 50 lgnd clear!! Always helping a warlock main play other classes😂
We have been struggling to complete all 50 waves usually stuffing up around wave 40 ish using various builds so we went back to basics and we used two tether hunters very similar to this vid and one warlock well with sunbrassers and completed it pretty easy. We had double invis on though for the capture rounds, we captured without killing the big enemy ran back to base then killed the big enemy together when it came towards the objective it’s sooooo much easier, as for weapons we had the same but one hunter had gally on and we used chill clip fusions instead of grenade launcher because they can stun overload and unstoppable champions. It worked very very well.
I have STRUGGLED with this game mode and I made this build and even without the catalyst for the sunshot first game completed wave 50. This build is perfection.
I use it with MALFEASANCE paired with Kinetic surges, Kinetic loaders, and siphons paired with Orpheus and 100 resilience 100 intellect to get my super back CONSTANTLY. Love this build so much.

It can be hard to pass up on the subclass element to weapon element synergies, but when it works it is so nice.
I would have thought that graviton would work better for this build but now that I use sunshot thanks to this build it has done so much better. Great Video!
Can confirm: a friend and I have been using a very similar build, and it's great chaining supers off each other, sometimes twice per wave!

I ve been using buried bloodline with orpheus with great success. Commemoration and a strand primary to proc unraveling rounds on orbs. Always have devour, things always weakened, super up very fast.
I've been using sunshot for a strand shackle consume build. Massive suspends while getting sunshot to make me radiant ,apply scorch/detonations chaining off the suspends and a strand shotty in the primary with apex predator in the heavy. Spec in Triple solar damage in the mods and 2 firepower 1 bolstering . You get unlimited suspends , grenades , and supers with being radiant and all the mods you can synergize in the artifact for max scorch/detonations while boosting damage done to strand debuffed targets. Ticcu, Polaris lance , and vex all work well with it whatever you fancy really . Strand and solar suspension builds feel so good right now . 💥🔥🔫🆙🧵

damn... crazy how sunshot is in everything now, since strand, i never thought anything would outbuild it as strand was the "go to" for a while...
IMO you should drop dynamo on the helmet and add heavy ammo finder and the one that drops bricks for your teammates as well. Especially when using an exotic primary like Sunshot.
This is why Mactics is the best for builds, 'cause they're always well explained with what and why everything does what it does! Also thanks for the tether spots.

Sunshot is just beast rn and works in alot of builds. Im getting a kick out of the strand wish keeper build swapped for sunshot rn. So many kills and far more survivability than the solar build
Love the tether boom build! Gave me one of my easiest clears ever while I carried my titan friend who refuses to use any of the good seasonal builds.

Yeah, I played with this Hunter Void build and it is really good but I also noticed having a Solar Titan comes in handy. Perfect team, in my option, would be the Void Hunter with a Omnioculus Deadfall Tether, Solar Warlock with a Phoenix Protocol Wellock and Solar Titan with a Hallowfire Heart Throwing Hammers.
Recently got back into d2 after having not played since like forsaken and a small bit of shadowkeep. Your vids have been super helpful, it would be really cool to get one of those shaders.
