The days of Buddy Redbow involved lots of Lakota Reservation Music Groups, performing together as teams and in unity. Buddy Redbow was a commonsight at all of these events, to inspire and motivated the unknowns. In this particular video we honor Mitch & LorenZephier, who produced Message From An Eagle an event that took place for several years, and was attended by many music groups and participants. Also produced by Tom Poor Bear Oglala Lakota.

I was there. It was a concert North of here (Lakota Homes) between Weston Heights and Ellsworth AFB on a Ranchers land named Kemmerer. It was an all nighter and very peaceful.

The Bridging challenge ,, the name "Indian" , how many people would allow another people define there cultural identity ? , this topic was brought to the surface by a 100 % full blooded ancestor of sitting bull in a recent talk here , as another example the name "Iroqui" has come to historically represent the Haudenosaunee nation here in the northeast, "but" the French in there dealings with Algonquin people, they took a mispronounced representation of what there people called them due to there past conflicts with them , and few know in doing so they named then The "Real Snakes" there are a lot of words in the English language that represent connections like that, and that hold a kind of dark hidden under meaning, addressing these forms of "recognition" are a concern. very important to note Buddy Redbow in his artistic reflections brought out the expressions and feelings of the Lakota upon a number of very serious subjects involving colonization and spiritual repression that he saw enacted upon his people so no disrespect is intended in any way. here in 2020 with all the reform being taken to address systemic racism embedded within foundations of European leadership and its systemic code. evolving our thought upon our deep representations and there sublime meaning held under the surface..

Nobody runs from wasiicu, it's just a song, about times back when wasiicu was attacking our people. Don't make it sound like they were running scared, people sound tuff, but when in court yes your honor. Our people didn't run form a battle.
