Thank you so much! I am a 75 years old Dutch woman, learning Spanish from English on Duolingo for over four years now. My English surely improved too. Just found your vídeos a few weeks ago, and understand so much better now! I put the video speed on 75%, and do at least one lesson a day. I’m going to surprise my Spanish son in law when I visit them next month.
At first, I was a little skeptical of Spanish lessons by a non-native speaker but it turns out that you have a knack for cutting through all the bs and getting straight to the point. You’re also quite good at explaining things. Then it occurred to me that maybe it’s not in spite of being non-native but BECAUSE of it that you explain things so well. You had to learn Spanish as a 2nd language so you know what the students are experiencing. You are aware of the issues that native English speakers might have more than a native Spanish speaking teacher would. I’m not a beginner but I and using these videos as a resource to help my kids learn Spanish. My parents are from Colombia so I grew up at least *hearing* Spanish. I can speak but not quite fluently. Anyways, thanks for making these videos. They are excellent.
More on spanish beginners please 🙏✨ Thank you Qroo Paul😊
this is the most helpful video yet compare to all of them. i can start speaking immediately
¡Por nada señor Profesor! Todos los videos son muy utíl. De hecho, tengo que decir “muchas gracias”. Desculpe por algunos errores
Hi Paul. Another helpful video. I've graduated beyond pure beginner, but still found this very useful.
Thanks for watching.
I’m not a beginner, but like reviews.
Thanks for watching. :)
Straightforward and very helpful y facil recuerdo!!!! Gracias!!!!
This is excellent! You are a great teacher
I use these because it's much quicker than finding the correct conjugation, especially when you are speaking to another person.
I’m finally starting to understand reflexive verbs. This video came at a great time to reinforce what I’m finally figuring out! Especially when there is a conjugated verb before a reflexive or when a reflexive kicks off a sentence. I was confused for quite some time.
I'm glad it was helpful. I have another video that goes into detail about word order with object pronouns, reflexive pronouns etc: czcams.com/video/cMCSpgfc9Bk/video.html
I find it easier to learn Spanish by writing down words that you have highlighted in this section. I also have a Spanish Verb Conjugation Quick Reference book which helps me further, so I can write down the Yo quiero, tengo, puedo, debería podría, voy a and ecabo de + infinitives which you haven’t covered in this video. I thank you so very much for posting these videos. They are so helpful to me living in the UK. Keep up the fantastic work you do. I am so grateful.
I have always preferred to write down words. I am a very visual learner. I'm glad that you are finding the videos useful. Thanks for watching!
@@QrooSpanish I have come to realise over the span of time that there is no silver bullet for learning a target language. It takes much discipline and hard graft.
Thank you! As usual, your lessons are easy to understand and so useful!
Gracias por la video , Dios te bendigas
More beginners videos please. Thank uou
Esto es un buen leccion. Gracias por enseñarme! Ahora, yo deberia practicar estes consejos.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hasta luego.
Acabo de ver un vídeo muy útil.
Ese fue un buen ejemplo.
Your lessons are great! By far more helpful than any other lessons I've tried on CZcams. Except, I've been having to go back and learn English again, because I've been out of school so long, I've forgotten things like what an infinitive or conjugated verb is
Thanks. I know the English grammatical terms are a pain, but they really do help when learning the patterns of a foreign language.
@QrooSpanish all good. Love your videos. I'm getting 2 language lessons at once. Keep up the good work, my man!
Thank you for doing direct translation of words and phrases instead of just explaining what the phrase means. I use a lot of etymology, and when someone translates something using synonyms it messes with my learning.
You're welcome. It always helped me to think more literally.
Damn you’re good at simplifying things!
Thanks!
I love your way of teaching. will there be continuing lessons
for newbies? Thanks
Yes, if people like this one.
So great. Feeling like I have a full house here :) thanks Paul!

You are the best best best teacher in the world ❤

Another very high value video! If the verb is reflexive, is it ok to drop the Yo on those? Por ejemplo: ¿Debería acostarme?
Yes, then it would be clear.
98.9K subscribers. So close to that 100k!
I know! I keep checking it...lol.
This is fantastic. Thank you so much. My son and I are learning Spanish here in the UK. So useful! Would this be appropriate in CastilianSpanish too please? 😊
Yes, these will work fine for castellano. :)
@@QrooSpanishthanks so much. Apologies for my ignorance, I'm just trying to help my son with his education and hoping to also learn myself. I love the language. Your channel is fantastic.
Hola. Gracias por este video. ¿Has pensado grabar un video explicando todo en español?
De vez en cuando hago un video en español pero prefiero enseñar español en inglés por las razones mencionadas en este video: czcams.com/video/vadfKVKUIzI/video.html
I just spent $800.00 for 10 weeks of Spanish and not able to comprehend most of what was taught. I watched this video and learned than in the 10 weeks I invested.
Could you plug "nesecito" into this pattern? Necesito comer, dormirme, estudiar etc,
Yes, you can use that one too.
Hello Mr. Qroo Paul, I have been studying Spanish for close to two months now. I read short stories, I have a workbook, I listen to podcast and watch a lot of CZcams videos on Spanish language rules. I have also listened to most of your videos. I feel I'm all over the place, and I not sure when I should start talking in Spanish to practice. I do well with reading Spanish but I cannot understand any Spanish being spoken. Please any advice?
I see you was definitely in the sun on your well deserved vacation
I spent the whole week on the beach. It was great!
Glad you enjoyed. I am one of your 55+ subscriber and I must say you make it easier to understand. I'm only on lesson 5 but I feel like I will be able to speak Spanish before I retire to Mexico.(I hope/wish)
Finally, i use those kinds of verbs everyday and i was struggling to learn then in Spanish, muy gracias ❤️❤️
Ohmygosh! That page of conjugations at 20 seconds, where is this found please!
Here you are. Just type in the verb and voila: www.wordreference.com/conj/esverbs.aspx
Are you saying acostarme ? When using it in sentence or is it just sounding that way
Yes, it is acostarme in the sentence.
Do you have lessons that can teach my Colombian friend English? 😊
Keep doing the intermidiate to advance content.I was following
I will. I tend to focus on those levels most often.
@@QrooSpanish .kindly.Am a Spanish tour guide so I relate more with native spanish tourist speakers.you have no idea how your intermediate/advance lessons have been to me.me hacen falta más lecciónes porfa sin embargo, agredezco mucho.te amo Paul.
Solo necesitas dos mil mas suscritos para llegar 100 mil suscritos!
Tan cerca. :)
Can and could...can't they both be defined in the present.... In our language we use both these interchangeably to refer to the present
I can't speak Spanish, but I seem to kinda understand. ¿Too many telenovelas before my Japanese monogatari s?
Thank you for helping me, I'm so grateful.Blessings to you in Jesus Christ name.
Thank you.
On the worksheet, #12uses the adjective after noun but on #19 the adjective is before the noun…….why?
Good catch. The placement of nuevo and viejo can be tricky. With nuevo if it is before the noun it more like another and after as brand new. With viejo, it can be more subtle with things. If I want to emphasize that it is an old computer, I would stick it in front mi viejo computadora. But, there isn't a huge difference when we place it after. Mi computadora vieja. My computer that is not new. The old one.
@@QrooSpanish thanks, my wife is a native speaker and she couldn’t give a good answer
Thanks!
Thank you very much!
