This woman is Arguably the Greatest Female Singer of her Generation. Nobody can sing like her...nobody had that Depth, Range and Control combination (not even Whitney nor Mariah).

I am one of the many conservative people who absolutely adore K. D. Lang. I love her image, her voice and her beautiful smile. Her voice will always be my getaway when I’m feeling down or depressed. And even when I’m feeling happy. Once in a blue moon, someone like K.D. comes along and leaves a profound impression impression on the music industry. She’s one of a kind, beautiful and unique, and she will always be in our hearts.
This woman is real! I respect her and admire her. Her singing talent is immense.

I saw KD Lang live in the late 90's and she was of course fabulous as a singer but what I was not aware of was that she is funny as hell. It was one of the best concerts that I have seen. Great interview by Costas.

This album is pure genius. Orchestration is superb and there are no words to describe just how amazing k.d. lang's singing - superlatives lack.
K D is such a beautiful human being and just look at her peaches and cream complexion, she is what I call a Natural Beautiful Woman who does not need Make-Up to have that Magic Glow. Bottom line she is Beautiful and with a Vocal Range out of this world.

This was so enjoyable to watch. The flow and and ease of the entire interview was amazing. No one can deny this woman's incredible talent, but who knew she was so gracious, honest, intelligent, respectful, and humorous. Would love to just sit down and chat with this woman about any topic. She has made her mark on the music industry in so many ways and I hope she continues to do so for many years to come. Every time I hear a kd lang song I am riveted from start to finish. Her voice is phenomenal.
KD has a mystery about her. I love constant cravings. One of My favorite songs of all time. I never paid attention to who she was or is until I heard some one talk about her on the G.G. show. So I looked her up and now I understand she is exactly like her song constant cravings. Perfect meaning.. it is pathetic if one doesn't like her.
Great interview. KD really is a stand alone singer. She’s genius in her art. Her voice is a gift from God. I’m not comparing her Alison Kraus but Alison and KD could sing the Windows 10 manual and mesmerize me.

I was in Vancouver . We had this huge satellite dish. I came across a Much Music I was listening to this while dusting the livingroom I ended up having to sit down and I was cometely captive watching Kd land Roy Orbinson.. I never labeled this song as nothing more than beautiful . Voices that hit me enough to listen.

I saw this when it aired, and I remember so many of the interactions especially when Bob Costas summarized Lang's whole approach to her art, and she readily agreed with his perception.
My Mom LOVED K D Lang and even my Mom passed in 12/2010 I am now listening to K D Lanf and she is FANTASTIC!

I so love her song ‘miss chatelaine’. Kd was on Scottish tv very many years ago and was such a different type of act. We had never seen such a country style act before. Seemed like she was on for ages. Her music was really good in the day and still is
It's almost shocking to see her in interviews knowing that she holds a nuke of a voice behind the mild persona. Yeah she has a left of center look but nothing crazy and she's very soft spoken and relaxed, but, hand her a mic and it's otherworldly

as most if not all fans of k.d. are aware, she wrote "Big Boned Gal" (from Southern Alberta), one of my favorite performances was in Chicago 1993; and another incredible performance is "Lock, Stock & Teardrops" (cover of a Roger Miller song), in Nashville in 1988 - love me some k.d.

KD Lang has a great voice. Very unappreciated artist. You know her voice is great if for no other reason but that the Great Roy Orbison allowed her to record a duet with him of his signature song Crying. He wouldn’t have let some second rate voice do that
I was living in a lightly-populated southern rural area when k. d. came onto the country scene, and the primary impression I got from other country fans was an appreciation of her flawless, lovely voice. And sure, there were some reactions to her styling choices with clothing and hair, and what that might indicate about her personal life, but it was more like someone talking about a singer's unique image, like Johnny Cash wearing black, or Garth's crazy-eyed stare that he really played up in the beginning. I don't recall anyone who got bent out of shape over it, as many today would love to believe about country people in that time and place. She was just that very-pleasing-to-listen-to singer with an unconventional visual style, who probably liked girls, and not much thought about it beyond that, because that flawless voice was just so amazing. Not what you expected about country folks' attitudes? Thank the agenda-driven corporate media....
I remember a kerfuffle over her stating that she's a vegetarian. Boy were some of the country music crowd mad for - what they thought - was dissing the cattle industry

As long as a person is kind and show me respect as I would do to you. It's really nobodys business who a person loves and wants to be with.
