Props for JRB standing up for Matt and running it 3 times. I see now why he’s invited to these big games all the time. Good attitude even when he’s losing or winning.
A lot of respect for jrb protesting about running 3 times. What a guy 👌🏼👍🏻
@@gargantuangoose24 well considering it’s a 900k pot and he’s protesting to run it 3 times to help the guy
It’s a pretty decent thing to do?
I agree. What a good guy.
Like he said, the money is the players not the casinos, so therefore players should be making the decisions on how many times. All the casino/production needs to worry about, is getting rake/views
@@ThePoliticalLambaster1 👏🏻🫡
Seriously. And why woukd the casio have any say. It's the players money in a cash game. If both parties agree to 3 times then they run 3 times. There is no question. 🤘
Love that it’s a 900k pot and JRBs first concern is getting the button for the 6k standup game, he’s the greatest
Nah that wasnt what that was about... JRB is so about thst paper that he wanted to know if a chop came by 2 times who would win the blinds... the blinds like 6k, is awarded to winner of first board
@@shamos999why does he win blinds. Plz explain
@@syfodias-jedimaster Since JRB and other guy were all in on the flop, and at first they were going to run it twice.. theoretically if they chop it, by each winning one board, they break even plus the blinds, which i think were 4-6k.. but instead of splitting the 6k in half , they award all of it to winner of first board... so JRB was asking what the casinos policy was on it. If tgey had ran it twice and chopped but JRB won first board we would have won the blinds and the other player break even
@@shamos999 got it thanks for explaining. Had never heard of winning the blinds this way before i would think its all choppdd 50 50
@@syfodias-jedimasterprobably because it's not true
Matt has that look that he borrowed money and just lost it all...
Yeah he definitely looked like someone who just lost money that actually mattered to him. I thought he was filthy rich?
@@----sssxxxddd----7975 I have never seen him before so I wouldn't know. I would assume so but his reaction was that of a man who lost everything to me.

JRB. My Dude taking charge! “Our money and we’re running it 3X!” PERIOD!!!
🥃😎
Yea man. Keeping it real. This isn't a tournament lol. It's a cash game.
jrb such a good guy man deserved the scoop there
They're both good guys. They both deserve the scoop 😅
Love the commentator aggravated with JRB being dead right. It’s their money.
Matt seems to be out of his comfort level
It's bound to happen why bring in people who are uncomfortable to loose and feels hard to play against jrb , dwan, Tony g ... If these players are in line up people like Daniel , Phil Ivey , garret these type of people should play .. play in your own league basically i guess
scared money make no money
Matt is a machine, never scared in his life
Dwan seemed uncomfortable too, with a boat, what's your point 🤣
@@flaminggalah1 nah, he is a broke little b1tch, but want to play the big leagues
JRB is a legend for trying to help Matt out. Ryan is a jerk for saying twice only unless the rules are clear up front.
It's not really helping out. It's better for JRB as well since Matt there had only a couple of outs. Running it 3 times just guarantees you max value and minimizes the risk that he hits one of his couple of outs. You're pretty much guaranteed to not loose money if you go like this.
@@ralfzacherl9942 you have 88% equity, how is it better to run it 3 times so your opponent could have more chance to hit their outs?
@@ralfzacherl9942 did u see Charles wtf face towards the end ? LOL ! He was like what kinda equity you talking about JRB
@@sadasdafa because you have 88% equity. If he drills a board with 12% you chop. 3 boards, the variance goes down. I'd run a board 20 times if I had 88% equity because I'd win my 88% equity back almost everytime.
Running the Board will get a player closer to their true hand equity. If you have 6 cards to save you and run the board until there is no more cards left, the max you will win is 6 boards. Sometimes less if you burn outs.
If you go once and the dude hits one of his outs, you lose 100% of the pot instead of guaranteeing 85-90% regardless of the run outs.
@@michaelbubly boom
Love JRB. For this arguing for the customer
Absolutely bro. They should be able to run out the whole deck in boards if they want to
Obviously this doesn’t go for all games like a regular 1/2 for ex but in these big games and streams for sure players choice as much as possible
@@wompwomp7177
Why doesn't it go in other games? Why shouldn't it? Curious on why you say this " obviously doesn't go .." for others just high stakes celebrities?
@@eshootziscrs2868 1/2, 2/5, and similar don’t offer enough value for the casino to “bend rules” to player request. Plus even if they did offer comparable value that bigger games/livestreams do then it still wouldn’t be viable just because of how many 1/2 and 2/5 games are running at once in any given casino. Imagine if the floor had to come to every table like this every couple of hands. Just not viable in any way
Aussie matt showing us what poker really looks like on the main floor
bad all in
@@bigcockedman714why bad? Flush n straight draws?
@@syfodias-jedimastercause his value range is crushing you, and you're 10x 3 bet jamming. If you do crazy stuff like that, people will just call all their draws, and raise their sets and two pair, knowing you will just jam when you have a decent top pair on a draw heavy board. Also, AK makes up a big part of Matt's 3 bet range. JRB should have less bluff raises.
@@timditmer9549 1)
ok so if JRB was on draw after getting 10x 3bet by matt you would want JRB to call u right?
2) what would u do if u were mat instead of going all in?
@@syfodias-jedimasterI don't understand your first question, if JRB is on a draw, then Matt is probably fine with him calling or folding to the jam. As to the second question, he should call.
I have never seen someone as distressed after losing a pot and I've played with dudes who were gambling their rent money.
Yeah he looked like he was about to throw up right then and there
I mean, he put in half a million with one pair lol
True. Probably the biggest pot he has ever played wanted to suck in the moment maybe
@ccutch No, he played so big before, I don't know the story, but it looks like it's not that lucky anymore.
I hope he did not borrow this money from mafia 😅
That dude is the reason the game was a 500k buy in. Was an asshole to the dealers, got felted. I almost never get any joy from seeing one of these guys go broke but this one didn’t bother me at all. Wiped that grin right off of his face.
I wasn't a jrb fan but he showed some class in this hand 👍
MATT is clearly not playing his comfort blind structure lol
He's comfortable with those blinds. But this was all his $$. He hasn't played in 2 years.
@@SkunkLabsHorticultureIf it was all his money, then that explains why he wasn't comfortable. IDC if he's a billionaire, doesn't take a body language expert to see he was clearly uncomfortable.
He is not a good poker player, don't know why he's doing this to himself...
Couldn't see the full line-up but Aussie Matt is easily the richest player there except for Stanley/Bill and whichever other billionaires randomly play. The guys got an insane amount of crypto wealth. He was just triggered at being felted and obviously tired. He's played way way higher level games than this.
@@evrich I know he plays high stakes, but he's just not a good player imho. And regarding his wealth, I honestly don't have any idea, but he's response indicated that this loss was very significant for him ..
Never seen someone on the show as distressed as Matt. Def a story behind his buy-in.
I was thinking the same. I hope he’s still alive.
running out of bitcoin
is he broke or close to it? like u said it looks like he really needed to win that pot. i thought he was some multi millionaire. but i understand crypto is still in its bear cycle so maybe his money is tied up in that
I thought he was trust fund kid? I’ve seen him blow tons of money over the years.
@@dustyguadian7570 he's a trust fund kid for sure. I watched him playing a long time ago (circa 2009) at the casino in Sydney with $250k in front of him. He was playing 3-way PLO and one of the guys on the table kept joking about Matt's monthly allowance.
Aussie Matt is the reason they changed the format lol
Jrb punks production is the best part of the video
JRB is the type of guy who turns up at a casino and everyone on the table suddenly has a great time.
Except for Aussie Matt😅
Until he takes a half million from you with 9 6 offsuit
Damn they need to pay Jrb a salary for showing up at the hustler stream cause jrb is the fing man
3:48 why Asian Charles so surprised "3 times!" He was there whole time???
This is a private cash game that the players pay per hour, it’s their money so let them run it however they wanna run it. Tell the Hall monitor Bradley to take a seat and let the real players play 😂
I’m sorry if guy is worried like that in a hand like that he shouldn’t be playing in those stakes!!!!! Bro literally started praying!
Would be really cool to have a show where airball isn't talking over everyone all night, only been watching clips with the sound muted for the past few weeks.
he's the long lost son of Kamala
Why do I feel like they could have ran the rest of the deck and even shuffled another one in and he still wouldn't have won?
I wish they would have said to run the rest of the deck out just to see how many it would have taken to win one run out.
In all seriousness though, the casino getting a bit huffy about them wanting to run it 3 times is completely uncalled for and unreasonable in my opinion. As he said, they both agreed and it's "our money" and it's "a cash game" so the casino shouldn't have cared at all how many times they ran it. If they wanted to go 10 times, let them go 8 times, then let them go 8 times. It doesn't affect the casino at all. Pretty ridiculous that the casino guys were getting a bit upset about it.
Hustler, do better next time and just chill out. Nobody wants to watch these videos and see you get upset for no good reason. It's just a bad look for your casino.
i believe the reason he made that point was because it's a California card room and not Vegas.
Looked like he lost the mobs money. Was trying to get a head start out the door before that last 9 hit...
That river 9 making it full house is like spread salt on wound
JRB pulled such a boss move. Respect
It seems like the way Aussie mat reacted it's like got bankrupt big time I hope that's not the only money he has poor dude 😢
He used to be worth like 600 million, seems like he s lost a huge part of it on the felt over the years…there was a kings casino stream few years back he lost like 2.5 million in one night at PLO
NOT a poor dude at all . He voluntarily put $425K on the turn of two cards . He lost . Only play if you can afford to lose . Simple .
lol you're trying too hard
He said he hasnt played holdem in 2 years before this stream. He obviously Isn't tossing in the last amount of money or credit he has to play his worst card game and one he hasnt played in 2 years lmao.
@@tommynesbitt3023 Don't be to sure, people tend to do stupid stuff when they are desperate, this guy was worth close to 500 mill at one point, if all of it is gone then things have spiraled out of control alot.

need to see this guy, they exist in every casino, every poker room. dont glamorize. most of the pros are just straight degens, those who stay a long time just have tons of money to burn. your either very wealthy and a degen or a degen.
Why was Charles acting surprised that the ran it 3 times?
Its clear that the addage 'only gamble what you can afford to lose' is illustrated to perfection in this hand, The bloke is broke- not just on the table but in the street and has no get out of jail plan !! JR played it like a boss.

Great job JR, amazing they questioned 3 times insane
That’s a lot of coke for Matt to lose

Love the outro music
JRB has great etiquette
In another post someone said JRB for president of poker. I fully would second that
Respect for JRB , He agreed with Matt to run it three times, and stood firm when they tried to say we don't know if you could do that, it's our money and I said we're running it 3 tines !!! RESPECT.....
As a New Zealander, this was fantastic to watch! The fact it was dragged out because they chose to run it 3 times was even sweeter! 🤣
Sheep shagger
You should see the PLO game where he lost sooooo many huge hands in a row lol. It was brutal
The odds were screwed up because a lot of Matt's outs were folded pre-flop.
If you eliminate these folds he'd have 25.45% to win the hand. Also the reason he was 50:50 pre-flop which is normally not the case with 9 high vs AK lol (it's 35:65). Unlucky to lose it three times :(
Yeah was wondering about that...tks
Back to the shadows for Aussie Matt 😂
Thanks Aussie Matt. Cya next time.
It's 2023 and we still have people going broke for 500bb on the flop with top pair after getting raised?

Off like little Orphan Annie right there.
How is 9-6 off 50% preflop? I don't believe that for a second, so many run outs where high card wins--A-K has to be more like sixty something and 9-6 high thirties.
Because a couple AK were folded. Duh!!
The equities take dead cards into account, so it’s likely that some aces or kings were folded. Not all streams do this though
@@calebjohnson9740 Oh sheeet, okay, thanks.

So I'm the only one that's confused on why AK vs 96 is 50/50 preflop?
Probably folded Aces and Kings. At least 1 of each was folded. None of JRBs hand was, thus 50/50.
