Oh god!!!
You've given incredible words, thank you so much, gonna save it...
Is everyone sleeping, why's this comment so underrated?!
How does this comment not have more likes?? I really appreciate the time that you put into this!!
Thanks so much!!
That was helpful...
Thank you!
Thanks it's useful mate you made my day
Avoid the word "very" it is a really useful way to improve vocabulary. I've been doing it since I watched 'Dead Poets society' movie and Robin Williams said to his students “So avoid using the word ‘very’ because it’s lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do. It also won’t do in your essays.”
Impressive tips, thank u
I've always wanted to join the adult flim industry.
That’s good idea
As a native English speaker... This is actually the first time I've ever seen the word "morose" 😂
@@Cameron.Hubberstey I'm glad you said that 😂😂
1) Students are more motivated when they choose materials they find interesting.
2) Build vocabulary lists using clusters for each topic.
3) Use subtitles for watching movies. Focus on common phrases people use to speak to one another.
5) Follow Lucy's advice about synonyms.
6) Believe in yourself!
I've learnt the word "meticulous" from this video. Thank you for expanding my vocabulary.
I've been reading books and hearing audiobooks. It's amazing when I hear words and expressions in movies and I only know what it means because I read it first.
Lucy, if I had an accent like yours, I'd never shut up! 😂❤️ cheers from Brazil!
bruh you look like padfoot aka sirius black
@@dragonmaster9316 lol
I'm a forgetful person...I tend to FORGET a lot throughout the day...So it's really hard for me to keep on track with new vocabularies...But it's a lot weirder because i'm an American... *Oh the irony*
Nevertheless, i still love watching your videos...Even if i'm not watching for the sake of learning but because you manage to put a smile on my face or any other viewer...Love you Lucy!!
❤️🤗🙏🏻 *MWUAAAAH*
I love the way you talk so much. So when I watch your videos I try to repeat after your every single sentence and it has helped me improve my intonation and pronunciation. I can't thank you enough for making these wonderful videos!!!
What an incredible british English pronunciation !
I'm so so impressed !
Christina Philippova hello
you would write better, very impressed.
Hey CHRISTINA!!!
Lucy!!! I'm a teenage girl from Hong Kong and I enjoy your channel a lot even though I'm already fluent in English. Your videos just really help me further improve my English and aided my learning of British accent (of course with the help of watching a ton of British youtubers lol)! I particularly love your pronunciation and common expression videos! Do continue your amazing work on this channel💕💕
Vera Shek hi can you help me be fluent too...
Can you help me to learn english language plz ?
to be honest, my greatest advice is more exposure. you have to listen more, read more and use the language more. don't be afraid to go to the extent of speaking to yourself in english (i even do little vlog things in english so that i use the language more)
feel free to ask more specific things because i have no idea if that helped :D
try to exposure to the lenguages by watching videos about the things that you like, and watch them with subtitles, when you encounter with a new word that you don't know its meaning, write it on your notes,i'm going to tell you one tool that i have been using for almost 2 months and everyday i'm learning around 25 or 30 words, that is this one:
download google translator, (of course i would be better if you download it in your phone), then use the translator for take note of the words that you don't know, everytime when you just have written one word, it will stay in a list that is below the translator (the limit for put words is around 35, i guess) and then when you have finished of writting new words, try to memorize all the words that you have written, i'm doing this method everyday and it is useful for me.
just remember that the last words that are in the list will be replaced continously while new words are appearing at the top of the list.
