I cannot begin to explain how fantastic your video work is Eric, and how the music edit is exceptional every week! Solid performances from both Paula and Eric, with Paula backing up her first place win with a second place here. You both look strong for this stage of the season. Should be interesting to see your choice of races to do for the rest of the season.

What a great episode! Eric you have been crushing the races this year. The field of competitors was huge in Chattanooga. I love that course. I’m going to do my first half there next year.

I loved this video. I used to live and train in Chattanooga, so it is great seeing familiar spots. I was suppose to race this one, but I’m currently sidelined for the season due to illness. Great to see ya’ll did well.

Hey Eric and Paula, do you guys have any advice on cities that aren't as bike friendly as Bend? Or maybe some advice for dealing with busier roads?

Holding my Wahoo rival.. I usually put it on in the first mile but I was just focused on running fast with so many guys off the bike at the same time

Did you use the Thule bike box for traveling? If so how was it? Thanks. Keep kicking ass.
It’s a dream. The build quality is super confidence inspiring and it’s easy to pack. It’s particularly great with the Shiv because the base bar folds down. With most TT bikes you’ll need to take the base bar off and strap it to the frame.
Any thoughts as to why you carry your Garmin watch during the run? Is it a "takes too much time to fuss with issue?"
In this case, yep. Normally we both put them on, but coincidentally we both were too caught up in the race to do it this time
Can you elaborate on both of you running with watches in hand?
With such a big pack coming off the bike together, a super fast transition was really important, then we usually put them on while running the first mile, but we both decided it sounded too hard while running this time 🤷♂️

I (Eric) have done it forever.. keeps sweat from running into my face and is a little cooler than a closed front (forward hat) 🤷♂️ just feels right
