- In this week’s episode of LA Diaries, Kinsey Schofield reacts to Prince Harry’s acceptance of the Pat Tillman Award for Service, after weeks of backlash for the honour.
Plus, Kinsey receives exclusive insight from inside this year’s ESPYs from an attendee.
Harry received the gong at the ESPYs in the US, being recognised for founding the Invictus Games. The Pat Tillman Award for Service is named after former NFL player and US Army Ranger Pat Tillman, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2004.
The mother of Pat Tillman was unhappy with ESPN’s decision to give the award that bears her son’s name to “a controversial and divisive figure”. Over 77,000 people signed a petition for the Duke to have the award revoked.

Well we all know that Meghan is a narcissist. If you don't know please see HG Tudor and educate yourself. Harry however is not a Narcissist so how do we explain his behavior? Harry grew up in the Royal Family and he is fully aware that Royal Patrons give out awards they do not receive them. If Harry really believes that buying American Awards for himself will assist him with his fraudulent visa application, he is sadly mistaken. If anything this adds to the disdain for Harry. Harry looked terrified on the recent stage , he knew in his heart he wasn't worthy of the award. To ignore Pat Tillman's mother and the large public petition, just proves to the world how self intitled, arrogant, spoiled, spineless Harry is. It's rumored that this award cost the dollar store Duo a quarter of a million dollars. Does Harry really care about veterans? I sincerely doubt he cares any more about the veterans than he cared about the real soldiers who were fighting in Afghanistan while he was safe in a bunker playing his video games. He is a absolute disgrace to veterans and to the Royal Family.

The Invictus Games are FOR the British Military NOT the American Military, America has Wounded Warriors. To give the Pat Tillman Award to a BRITISH CITIZEN for a BRITISH ORGANIZATION when we have many AMERICANS and AMERICAN ORGANIZATIONS who were deserving of this award is like spitting on our own men. As a veteran myself, this was beyond infuriating. The disrespect to Pat Tillmans legacy, and ignoring a medal of honor recipient- this makes me sad for those vets for feeling like they were used. Brothers and sisters in arms indeed. Thank you for showing your support for those brave souls on stage. In my opinion- P. Harry is nothing like Pat Tillman- quite the opposite. He (Pat Tillman) gave up fame to commit to a life of service, he received the calling and answered knowing he might have to pay the ultimate price. Harry has no business being in the company of such bravery and courage. To the attendee who wrote the letter- very insightful and i thank you for your service.

One good thing is coming out of this situation. More and more people are understanding that these foundations and awards are about wealthy people creating salaries and tax dodges for themselves. It may be legal (barely), but it is NOT ethical. It is also not royal behavior, so Harry and Meghan show they are interested in celebrity, not service.
There should be no doubt that Harry should never be allowed be back in with any type of role in the UK.
People are examining the finances of these entities. Archewell, Better Up, Travalyst, Groundswell, and others. I suspect any business ventures (related to Meghan or Doria) could also be put under the microscope.

I googled the UK Oath of Allegiance for those entering the UK military. It states in part,"...I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, His Heirs and Successors, and that I will, as in duty bound, honestly and faithfully defend His Majesty, His Heirs and Successors..." Of course Harry's would have said QEII. Now think about how Harry was faithful to HMTQ and her successors. That award given to Harry was an affront to every honest veteran and every patriotic citizen not only in the UK but in the world. As a soldier, Harry certainly failed.

That shows how much this award really means to them - just another “sit-about” as we southerners say! lol! Just before I tuned in here, I was watching clips of the royal family, including Harry, on the balcony for a huge occasion. This looked to be not long before Meg entered the picture. The mall was seething with thousands upon thousands of people cheering, waving flags, and adoring their monarchy. Harry and Meghan left the family and all this notoriety and recognition for Hollywood. Now they struggle to get an audience. These two who constantly need their egos rubbed left a dream world for digging and scraping for anything to have themselves noticed.
