In this video, we take delivery of our second 2024 Sundiro Honda Dax e. "They just keep arriving!" We then uncrate it, assemble it and take if for a test ride.
We still haven't figured out how to pair our phone to the Android app, and do not yet know if the app will allow us to switch from KPH to MPH in the speedometer, so for now, we are using a GPS speedometer app to measure our speed.
The included small parts box this time includes the pedals, the user manual, the charger, the certificate of origin, the original 25 kph controller, and the original small seat.
The included charger expects an input voltage of 220 volts and so we bought this step-up transformer on eBay: www.ebay.com/itm/266477064744

@JamesDeLaney-lq5yc, Thanks for watching and your kind words. In the next video I install all the same accessories on the red one as on the green, but the bags are black instead of brown. I did make a mistake and accidentally ordered a larger top case. The red top case looks the same but is an inch longer and an inch taller, and doesn't fit the rear rack correctly.

@simonj5004, Thanks for watching and your comment. The light helmet for the slower speed of the Dax e vs. a heavy helmet for the Trail 125 and lightness of the bike itself, make the Dax e better in the humidity. I hadn't thought about getting a Zoomer e, but was starting to look into getting a Cub e, but probably won't. The biggest turn off on the Super Cub 125 is the Smartkey system, and while the Zoomer e doesn't actually use the Super Cub 125 Smartkey system, it looks too similar to me with the pushbutton key fob, that I didn't investigate it more. I simply decided that I didn't want one because of the key system, even though I don't understand how it really works. It might have turned out to be ok. The Cub e uses the same card system as the Dax e, and so far, that works very well. I was planning to order a Cub e, but now my energy is fading to buy anything more at this point.

@MancingTanago, Thanks for the encouragement. Old age is starting to take over and I am loosing my enthusiasm. I should probably try to go fishing today. In my next video, I install all the accessories on the red Dax e, and unfortunately, it will be a long video. I already finished the video and will put it on CZcams next week. After I post that video, I will be out of ideas and also out of energy. Maybe fishing will revive my spirits...

@@matthubbard8541 Matt, I hear you.. I should have done that two years ago. I organized that central Florida meet last fall to Richloam, and a new Florida gung ho 2023 Trail 125 rider was going to organize another ride for April, but he dropped the ball.. turned out to be all talk but no action. My body is willing, but my my mind is shot. It is impossible for me to organize anything now. I couldn't even organize a ride around the block now. I took a long ride on the red Dax e today, and decided that I might have enough brain power left to put the Dax e in the van and take it up to the Florida Barge canal one early morning in a couple of weeks before the day get's too hot. Have a look at this video from Motocheez were he rides the bike path at the canal on eBikes with his wife. I think it would make a good Dax e video, following the same route, with fishing and lunch from one of the trailside gazebos:

@Robinsbro17, Thanks for watching and your comment. After riding the Dax e, it is difficult to go back the Motocompactos. The pneumatic tires on the Dax e make a huge difference, and the higher top speed is also nice. On the downside, the Dax e weighs about three times as much as the Motocompacto, and you can fold up the Dax e. My problem is that I like to have mirrors and a phone holder on both, and when you do that to a Motocompacto, it doesn't fold up any longer. That puts the Motocompactos down on the list when I choose what to ride each day.
